About this venue

The Fairway Event and Banquet Center has a long history of hosting fun and elegant events. Formerly operated as Deer Run Golf Club, the banquet center is a familiar and beloved destination in Kent County. We’re happy to say that we’ve taken the best of what was at the facility before and combined it with our own new and exciting changes for an even better event experience! With a variety of new menu and bar options, along with gorgeous new improvements to to the facility, we know you’ll love having your wedding or event at The Fairway! We look forward to working with you to customize your event to suit your own unique style.

The Lookout

Consider our beautiful backyard when planning your next event. We have been making improvements to the deck, pond and ceremony area behind our facility. Walk out back and you’ll find a beautiful outdoor setting that’s perfect for your next spring, summer or fall event. Food and alcoholic beverages are served in The Outlook Outdoor Event Area, too!

The Gathering Room

Cozy Little Gatherings

Comfortably accommodating up to 32 people, The Gathering Room is the perfect spot for rehearsal dinners, showers, smaller parties and meetings. Room rental includes table and chair set-up and use of the room for 4 hours. Bar and beverage packages can be added to your room rental for an additional charge.

Our newly renovated Bridal Suite is the perfect place to enjoy getting ready for your big moment. Enjoy a complimentary bottle of champagne with your girls while you create memories to last a lifetime. We have those little things you might need to get all dolled up. Hang your dresses on our beautiful dress bar while you relax on our comfy chairs and settee with your glass of champagne. Then get all glamorized at our large make-up counter. A special place for a special bride!
