Marion Coffin, one of the first female landscape architects, was instrumental in desgining the garden which is a four seasons delight to all who use the house. Headquarters is the setting for Philadelphia Stated Meetings, the meetings of the Board of Managers and its Committees, and for the Society's Annual meeting. The archives of the Society, including lineage papers of our members, both living and deceased, are housed here as well. The relationship with our partner farmers at Double Brook Farm in Hopewell is the cornerstone of our menu development. Additional proteins, vegetables and grains come from local area farms and specialty growers. Once here, guests will dine in the thoughtfully renovated original 1800’s farmhouse of the Double Brook land, which sits adjacent to the fields on which many of the animals have pastured. Events at Brick Farm Tavern are meant to highlight the best ingredients of our region with unique themes and experiences.

Our charming and picturesque venue is the perfect location to create unforgettable moments, be it a wedding, anniversary celebration, or any other special occasion. When the building was initially constructed over a century ago, it was designed as a Presbyterian chapel in a completely different location. Dismantled and purchased in 1907; the remaining materials were moved to its current home. Today, it has a capacity of 120 guests and can comfortably host both intimate and extravagant celebrations.
