The Oar House is on the Chestatee River that creates a romantic back drop for lots of opportunities for beautiful pictures. We have inside and outside seating. You get the whole venue for the entire day. We are on 6 acres of river frontage. Fun lighting is in place for that festive party feel.

The farm consists of over 100 acres of beautiful streams, ponds, large hardwoods, and gorgeous fenced pastures. One of the main focal points is our Old Covered Bridge which has been a wedding site for many sweet couples over the years. We have enjoyed letting people get married, do photo shoots, and host events on our farm for years and decided that it was finally time to incorporate this fun aspect of our lives into the rest of our family businesses! Just one hour North of Atlanta near Amicalola Falls, our little slice of heaven is located at the foothills of the Georgia mountains. In 1977 the Kraft Family broke ground and built the first six cabins by hand without any running water or electricity! Originally known for our romantic honeymoon cabins, we have quickly become a popular destination for group retreats, corporate events, weddings, and receptions.

Swan Lake Overlook is a luxurious wedding and event venue. Our venue sits on 225 acres of land that has been in our family for over 100 years. Our scenic views overlook the North Georgia Mountains and come with all of the well loved mountain elements. We are conveniently located just north of Atlanta, providing the perfect mountain destination wedding just outside of the city. Our guests can enjoy several ceremony spots around our property and a large indoor venue space with seating for up to 300 guests. You might not know this about us, but we are actually an exotic deer farm. There are over 80 Sika and Fallow Deer that roam freely on our property. Our farm is also home to alpacas, donkeys, emus, horses, and a few swans. The animals on our farm are like family to us. They sometimes even join our guests for a photo or two! While we are a farm, our space is everything but your typical barn wedding. We classify ourselves as rustic-elegance.

This idyllic estate provides breathtaking views and rural tranquility. The grounds abound with horses, a miniature donkey and verdant trees, making this a storybook setting. Agape is Greek for love, reflecting this venue’s commitment to creating a romantic and atmospheric location to celebrate timeless love stories. Large or intimate ceremonies can be held anywhere on the lawns, inside the barn, at the pavilion, or the gazebo overlooking the pond. Inside the barn couples will find a spacious design for dinner, dancing and celebrating. The elegant 2-story barn has a bar & lounge with leather sofas, a wrap-around deck on the top floor, and glittering chandeliers. Outside, the covered pavilion makes for an excellent site to hold receptions during the warm summer months, or even on a crisp autumn evening.

Creating happiness runs in our family. Our ancestors established this property in 1826. We named our venue this because we treasure the history of this space, and know there were many long, happy marriages on this land. There are several natural backdrops from which to choose for your ceremony; a log barn built in the 1820s, under an oak tree that is almost 200 years old, next to the pond on the dock, or by the large barn with a few curious horses behind you. Then walk across the green grass to your celebration under a tent, with or without a dance floor, lighting, tables, chairs and linens of your choosing.
