The Oar House is on the Chestatee River that creates a romantic back drop for lots of opportunities for beautiful pictures. We have inside and outside seating. You get the whole venue for the entire day. We are on 6 acres of river frontage. Fun lighting is in place for that festive party feel.

Wimpy Farms is a family farm venue located in the beautiful north Georgia mountains of Dahlonega Georgia. The farm consists of over 100 acres of beautiful streams, ponds, large hardwoods, and gorgeous fenced pastures. One of the main focal points is our Old Covered Bridge which has been a wedding site for many sweet couples over the years. We have enjoyed letting people get married, do photo shoots, and host events on our farm for years and decided that it was finally time to incorporate this fun aspect of our lives into the rest of our family businesses! In 1977 the Kraft Family broke ground and built the first six cabins by hand without any running water or electricity! Originally known for our romantic honeymoon cabins, we have quickly become a popular destination for group retreats, corporate events, weddings, and receptions.

Agape Acres, nestled in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains. Agape Acres sits on 43 acres of rolling pastures and is surrounded by woods. This idyllic estate provides breathtaking views and rural tranquility. The grounds abound with horses, a miniature donkey and verdant trees, making this a storybook setting. Agape is Greek for love, reflecting this venue’s commitment to creating a romantic and atmospheric location to celebrate timeless love stories. Large or intimate ceremonies can be held anywhere on the lawns, inside the barn, at the pavilion, or the gazebo overlooking the pond. Inside the barn couples will find a spacious design for dinner, dancing and celebrating. The elegant 2-story barn has a bar & lounge with leather sofas, a wrap-around deck on the top floor, and glittering chandeliers. Outside, the covered pavilion makes for an excellent site to hold receptions during the warm summer months, or even on a crisp autumn evening.

Creating happiness runs in our family. Our ancestors established this property in 1826. We named our venue this because we treasure the history of this space, and know there were many long, happy marriages on this land. There are several natural backdrops from which to choose for your ceremony; a log barn built in the 1820s, under an oak tree that is almost 200 years old, next to the pond on the dock, or by the large barn with a few curious horses behind you. Then walk across the green grass to your celebration under a tent, with or without a dance floor, lighting, tables, chairs and linens of your choosing.
