About this venue

Swan Lake Overlook is a luxurious wedding and event venue. Our venue sits on 225 acres of land that has been in our family for over 100 years. Our scenic views overlook the North Georgia Mountains and come with all of the well loved mountain elements. We are conveniently located just north of Atlanta, providing the perfect mountain destination wedding just outside of the city. Our guests can enjoy several ceremony spots around our property and a large indoor venue space with seating for up to 300 guests. You might not know this about us, but we are actually an exotic deer farm. There are over 80 Sika and Fallow Deer that roam freely on our property. Our farm is also home to alpacas, donkeys, emus, horses, and a few swans. The animals on our farm are like family to us. They sometimes even join our guests for a photo or two! While we are a farm, our space is everything but your typical barn wedding. We classify ourselves as rustic-elegance.

      I can’t even begin to explain how perfect Swan Lake was. They were super attentive, answered every question we had, and just helped during every step. Mechelle and her team are fantastic. We also stayed both Friday and Saturday night which was such a blessing to have!
