You know him as DJ Casanova, but around the office, we just call him Jamie. Back in the day, he was just a child of immigrants recording his favorite songs over his parent’s cassette tapes (sorry Mom and Dad) so he could listen to them on his prized Walkman. Jamie entered the DJ field in 2009, and before long he was spinning something at a different party every week. Pretty soon he realized that sharing his love of music with like-minded folks was more than just a hobby, it was a gift.

“DJ Casanova was recommended to us by our venue and we could not have been happier with our decision to have him DJ our wedding reception. He is extremely organized and responsive. He shared a wedding planning sheet with us that allowed us to build our timeline and reception playlist. He also allowed us to create our own playlists for cocktail hour and dinner music (though he has some of his own playlists that we 'stole' some songs from too). What really made DJ Casanova stand out was that he met with us virtually (we don't live in the DMV area) multiple times before our wedding. His main focus during the first session was to learn about us as individuals and a couple, as well as our families. The second session was focused on logistics, name pronunciations, etc. He was extremely receptive to our requests and made the wedding day exactly what we wanted. Many of our guests asked us how we found our DJ because they were so blown away with the musical selections he played and how friendly he was during the reception. We give our highest recommendation!”

“When I was planning my wedding, choosing the makeup artist was one of the things I was most nervous about. On a daily basis the only makeup I wear is a little mascara so I was scared of looking too done up and not myself. My hair stylist suggested to me that I give Sarah a call and I’m so glad he did! When she came to my house for my trial she asked me all about how I wanted to look and feel on my wedding day and I felt totally understood. The first trial I did with another artist was horrible and I left feeling like a contestant on RuPaul so it was so nice to have someone that understood what I wanted and could totally deliver. She was so friendly and had a great calm energy about her that made me feel comfortable. On my wedding day she did my makeup, my mother and my mother in laws, who were both terrified of looking to over the top as well but of course it turned out perfect. Sarah also covered up a small tattoo on my back that I don’t love and didn’t want to be the main focus of the day. All her products must be top notch because nothing ever faded, I never needed to reapply anything, not even after walking two miles in the September sun and dancing all night. I took a picture of myself when I got home that night and I looked exactly the same as I did that morning when Sarah left my house. I couldn’t have been happier with the work she did and am so happy I found her!”

My husband and I loved attending vendor visits with her and she would always offer to treat us to lunch/dinner whenever we had appts. They went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure the wedding was blissful. I recommended her to a friend who has a destination wedding next year and they are already in love. A planning company that knows what they're doing, very honest with you rather than telling you what you want to hear and extremely resourceful. We also got to save on decor because they provided rentals since we booked the full service planning and Amaka with giving us tips on how to save on decor. We wanted them to actually do the decor :-( but they couldn't at that time and was honest about it. However, I am excited about ariscreationz doing the decor for my friend's wedding.”

Instead of many emails or text chains about allllll the topics that will arise, you can post thoughts, questions, pictures, links, documents, & more. It will notify Veronica by email that you put something in Aisle Planner & she can read/respond & will get back to you within 24hrs. So although I did the 'virtual' package I never felt like I was alone or like Veronica wasn't there to help (she even video chatted with me at the final venue walkthrough 30 days before the wedding!) “Penderview Events truly went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT. As a DIY and meticulous bride, we knew Anna was the one we would entrust with our vision the moment we had our phone consultation; she was so incredibly sweet and enthusiastic about our big day, and I immediately felt a sense of ease that she will be able to handle all the shenanigans and i can pass her the torch with ease. Although she was hired for "day of", she assisted us in any way possible months leading to and made sure we were on top of all the important tasks leading up to the day of (i.e. vendors contact info, finalizing timeline for the morning/day of, etc.). My big day unfortunately started off disastrous (I became car sick), so I was unable to give guidance with the decor during set up. But since one of the tasks Anna asked me weeks prior was for a list with all the decor and how/where I wanted them placed, Penderview legit made my vision come true!!!!!!!! Penderview was so attentive, that they were even able to place some items which I gave no instructions for (i.e. last minute decided that we wanted wedding party to sit during the ceremony, so I made name placement cards for the reserved chairs, and without mentioning it, they were placed on the chairs in processional order). Penderview was able to execute every event and details on the timeline FLAWLESSLY, and I was able to enjoy the event with ease knowing that everything was in such capable hands. We felt and saw how invested Penderview was throughout the day in making it perfect for us, especially the attention to details and handling all the logistics smoothly behind-the-scenes. I also really appreciated Anna’s assertiveness when hiccups would arise (ie, making sure guests wouldnt be walking in while were ready down the aisle/stay out of view, wedding party prioritized drinking and forgot to come back for portraits; flower girls kept running infront of camera during portraits, and so many other headaches i did not want to deal with, etc.) Not only was Anna able to accomplish and execute my vision beyond expectations, but she was also my emotional support and my right-hand lady, making sure I was always hydrated. Anna’s empathetic and kind demeanor made her feel more like a close friend than just a ‘day of coordinator’. Hiring Penderview was the best investment we made. Thank you so much for making our day magical and we will forever be grateful to Penderview!!!”

The engagement photos were done in NYC and the wedding was at a venue outside of Philadelphia. It was a true pleasure to work with Jess. She is extremely skilled, knowledgeable, communicative, and prepared. The quality of the work in her portfolio speaks for itself but I cannot overstate how thrilled my partner and I are with the photos. She managed to capture so many lovely moments and the spirit of the day. The intimacy and beauty she brings out with her portraits are astounding—I have never felt more comfortable being in front of a camera and I have never loved the result so much. The variety of the media brings a beauty to the detail I didn’t think I would care about—the place settings, the venue, and everything else look great and are considered in composition and lighting. None of the photos delivered are there just to check a box. The amount of preparation and work she puts in for each job is evident just by the uniquely specific nature of her questionnaire—her questions were helpful for us in planning! She was always quick to email us back when we had questions for her and helpful in ways we never would have expected—good news if you don’t know how to pin a boutonniere, Jess does (and she brought extra pins).
