It is not unusual for wedding planning to begin more than a year in advance of your big day. Venue, flowers, decor, churches (bring your own priest which is a thing), engagement photos, DJ, wedding party, save the dates, invitations. The list DOES. NOT. STOP. With all of these moving parts it really makes you wonder how such a complex event can happen without the slightest issue and seemingly end before you know it. Well, Liv is our reason. After months of planning, and picking, and choosing, and changing, and scrapping ideas our bandwidth for creativity and follow-through was wearing thin. Liv saved the day. She seamlessly coordinated communications between all parties and vendors to ensure that everyone was on the same page. I will honestly say that without her our day would not have come together like it did. Everyone tells you that something will inevitably go wrong regardless of how thorough your planning. Liv didn’t let that happen. The groomsmen forgot tie clips. Liv ran 5 blocks to pick up tie clips for the boys and was back before the girls even arrived at the church. Her foresight and planning were impressive but her ability to think and adjust on the fly is what made our day go off with zero issues. We cannot thank Liv enough for her help. Booking Cassie to be my wedding coordinator three months out to my wedding day was the best decision I made in the wedding planning process! I really thought I did not want or need a planner/coordinator, but having Cassie there really allowed me to enjoy my wedding. Cassie was diligent, organized, responsive, and patient. Cassie was so on top of every detail and knew all my vendors’ contracts inside and out! I had done lots of research online to make sure I knew every detail going into the wedding planning process, but there were some things I would not have known and Cassie was able to guide me through. For example, one of my vendors insisted an additional hour of rental time needed to be added to the wedding day (that would have cost me hundreds of dollars) and Cassie advocated for me, citing their contract, that it was not necessary. Cassie was also available to help make decisions regarding decor, helping me decide on pieces that best suited and enhanced the venue. I explained my vision of romantic candles everywhere throughout the event. Cassie and I worked together to shape where everything would go to create the seamless look. Cassie (and her assistant Cammie) made everything look stunning on the wedding day - and expertly packed up everything at the end of the night for us. I thought I could have my sister or family friend be in charge of so many of these tasks, but it was *so nice* delegating this out to a professional so that everyone could enjoy the day. I was apprehensive about paying a planner for something I truly believed I could do. Later than I'd like to admit, I became overwhelmed and seriously behind as the actual day neared. I was referred to Nina by my fiancé's friend [note that my fiancé was so over me planning the wedding me on my own]. I had fun on my day, I was relaxed and look like I was truly enjoying our day in ALL the photos. Adding that Nina also flew in a DJ from Miami who I was and am a fan of. I can't say enough about this team! Best wedding decision my husband Brett and I made was to hire them on board to be our planners. I am a bit of a control freak and super picky, so at first I was not planning on hiring wedding planners because I wanted full control. They came recommended by a friend who knew them from an engagement shoot, and felt their personalities and experience would be a great match for us. One phone call later and I was all in - I realized how much I could benefit from them and make the wedding planning process so fun and enjoyable. We specifically worked with Allie who is amazing. She understood my vision and was SO easy to work with. The type of planners you want to be friends with and are as equally as excited for your wedding as you are! That was important to me. It's impossible not to love this team as they're all so kind, fun, personable, professional and get the job done so seamlessly. A true dream team!!! Allie is very organized, responsive, and gets to the point to get stuff done. She took on so many tasks and responsibilities, and always had an answer or solution to a problem. If we didn’t hear back from a certain vendor or get answers to certain questions in timely manner - she was persistent and got it done. Allie didn't skip a beat, she knew everything about the wedding day and how things were suppose to go - I felt at such ease knowing I had her and her team (and didn't have to rely on parents or wedding party for day of responsibilities) because CityLux truly did it all. I don't know how we could have done it without them. Our wedding day was so magical and went so smoothly. The whole team was running operations the day of - being everywhere at once, communicating with one another through their ear pieces, and going above and beyond for a perfect day to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted. I didn't hear of any mishaps because they handled all the chaos and ensured Brett and I were having the best time and not having to stress about anything. The saddest part of wedding being over has been no longer working with Allie, Sarah, or their team! I want to plan another event just to be able to work with them again (which after a big wedding with lots of planning may sound crazy lol). Trust me, I may not have felt this way prior to having them, but after planning a 200 person wedding, with 10 vendors, and so many details - the most important vendor decision is your planner and I can’t recommend them enough!

She also put together our decor Inspo and she was SPOT ON! And she brought it to life the day of the wedding! Sabrina also handled our timelines which we would not have had the bandwidth to put together that last 1-2 months before the wedding as we were already stressed enough. We hired Nightingale for Wedding Coordination as they came recommended by our venue and I just have to say: WOW. I had the HONOR of working with Rachel. I am a pretty organized person, so I was able to book vendors and get all the initial portion set up. The amount of work Rachel put in those last moments before the wedding is almost indescribable. Let me just tell you that I felt that Rachel had my back the entire time when did have some hiccups with a different vendor. Rachel took care of it and handled it so well. Leading up to the day, she had us thinking about things we would never consider thinking about. Since I have never planned a wedding before, Rachel was the expert and mastermind to pull everything together. When I was booking vendors, it was once one was done, I booked the next, but the last 1-2 months, you are talking to ALL of them it is a very daunting task. If I were to do it all over it again, I would rebook Nightingale in a heartbeat. The day-of was magical. Rachel was my bridesmaid, friend, and me all in one. She anticipated ALL my needs and was the voice of reason the whole day and night. Our groom gal, Amy, was there for us too and I swear, they all were so so helpful so that Mark and I could enjoy our day. We felt like guests at our own wedding. Our job was to enjoy the day and they made it happen beyond our expectations. We didn't interact too much with the third gal but thank you so much for setting up the details of the room so nicely! Charissa is an excellent planner and coordinator! I started working with her with our venue booked, but pretty much no other vision or idea of how I wanted our wedding to be. She was patient, provided suggestions and recommended excellent vendors to help it all come together, and was also on top of all vendor communications. It was also super easy to schedule time and get in touch with her throughout the whole process (15 months of planning!), even if it was just for 10-minute call to touch base on random questions that we had. She, Kevin and Melissa also did an excellent job coordinating day-of and making sure everything was set up, cleaned up, and ran smoothly. She was also available throughout the day (and into the winddown at night!) to answer any questions that came up. Having Charissa and her team really removed so much stress from wedding planning and the wedding day. Highly recommended!

KaDeana is absolutely incredible. My husband and I booked her through our bartending service "Party On The Rocks" to be our day-of-coordinator. This lady goes above and beyond for her brides. I booked her way back in 2018/19 for our August 2020 wedding. Due to COVID restrictions (which she kept us with for us) we had to postpone our reception twice and both times she kept up with our vendors to keep them informed. We didn't have to change any one of our vendors. They were all of our original picks. KaDeana was there for us through it all. We finally had our wedding in April 2022. I can't count all of the times we emailed, texted, or called back and fourth. She was on top of every detail. I can't imagine trying to plan everything by myself. Excellent news: your search for a wedding planner and coordinator is over. Hire Venture North Events! They are the best! Kim and CJ are the perfect mix of detail-oriented, thoughtful, creative, and cool under pressure. We hired them for full planning for our wedding weekend at Eastwind Hotel in Windham in June 2023. We started working with them a year before, and they were deeply engaged the entire time. Our wedding was a full weekend (3 days and three events), with lots of different moving parts and activities. Everything was outdoors. We had to bring in and set up a lot of stuff. Not only were they exceptional at knowing and implementing logistics (sound, lighting, rentals, decor, rain plans), they always made sure that the events reflected our personal vision and intentions. The planning process itself was made immensely fun working with them. Because of their expertise, we were able to focus on the creative stuff. We crafted what we hoped the weekend would look like together, planning over calls and the super organized planning spreadsheets Kim and CJ have created. Their systems kept us on track, and we (and our guests!) appreciated how well organized and executed everything was! On Saturday, we had lots of intermittent rain during outdoor events. Kim and CJ kept all our guests dry and happy, shifting schedules and logistics as needed. We were involved in these decisions but also trusted them completely, so were able to be fully present in the day with our guests. Kim’s timelines the day of the wedding ran impeccably; nothing felt rushed and she brought on top notch folks to work the wedding as day of staff. She has a deep knowledge of and relationships with various vendors in upstate New York, everyone was truly excellent. On top of it all, Kim and CJ were truly a joy to work with. Now a month out from the wedding, we are so grateful for how it all went! We miss them terribly! In sum, VNE gets our highest possible recommendation. Do yourself a favor and hire them, ASAP!
