My husband and I got married here on April 21, 2023 and we truly couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding and rehearsal dinner the night before. The staff, the alcohol, the rooftop for the ceremony, the barrel room and main reception room were all just incredible and everything went so seamlessly! We still have friends mentioning that it was the most fun wedding they have ever attended and we feel the same way! Also, the entire Highland team worked so easily with all of our vendors, it made it so nice for me on the day of to know that everything was taken care of. Plus, the beer and wine at Highland were a hit and everybody loved getting to try all of the craft beers. Can't recommend them enough and I wish I could do it all over just to relive that day in such a beautiful space.

Our ceremony was small & included all of our closest friends and family members. No matter what season you decide to get married, this property will be STUNNING. The owners, Margaret and Chris, have a beautiful story and unique professional background. Margaret has thought of absolutely everything to deliver a magical experience. There is so much charm on every foot of the property- if you're looking for a destination wedding that allows you to stay ON SITE, this is IT! Each place to stay (The Wren, The Kingfisher, The Peregrine) have the most thoughtful touches & elevated views. The design of each space is detailed, classy, & has tons of personality. Margaret allows her guests to "personalize" their wedding experience so that each wedding or event planned is truly one of a kind. Celebrate outside by the pond, inside the restored barn, or by a waterfall! The versatility of the property makes planning an event so much more memorable! From the moment we started working with Emma at Castle Ladyhawke, we were impressed by their quick, efficient, and warm communication style. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, with an authentic, charming feeling that made our wedding day feel truly special. The food was fantastic and despite complications it was a beautiful and magical day. While our initial coordinator, Emma, was great to work with over the 8 months leading up to the wedding, we were disappointed to learn upon arrival that she would not be there on the day. Her replacement, Kelsie, arrived late, did not have our updated documents, failed to communicate with the vendors that there was a space for them on the third floor, and seemed to lack the positive energy and personal responsibility we had come to expect. There were also a few small hiccups, like the arch being set up incorrectly initially. But overall, we had a wonderful, memorable day for us and our guests.

The long family style tables were perfect for my thanksgiving wedding! Everything is conveniently located on the property making wedding weekend/day less stressful. This is, hands down, the BEST and MOST BEAUTIFUL wedding venue in North Carolina! All my family and friends are still talking about how perfect and well planned everything was on wedding day. My husband and I can not brag on this venue enough!! Peacock Reserve is dreamy and I highly recommend this beautiful venue!!!

With six years of event planning experience from Greenville Magazine, I thrived on the buzz of big bashes. Then, two years ago, we dove into planning our daughter’s wedding, and bam! I was hooked on the joy of it all! So, we took a bold leap, snagged 30 acres, and rolled up our sleeves to transform our vision into reality: an agricultural paradise, a horse boarding haven, and a stunning event venue! Fast forward to August 2024, and our event barn is finally ready to rock! We can’t wait to bask in all the love as families and friends come together to celebrate. I mean, who doesn’t love a good love story, right?

Milepost 1808 Wedding Venue and Events was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, the owners were incredibly responsive and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful ambiance both during the day and in the evenings. The gorgeous views of the countryside were the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. When we had to suddenly change venues due to a hurricane, the team at Milepost 1808 worked tirelessly to help us move everything in just one week's time. Their hard work paid off, as our wedding day was truly magical. On top of their exceptional service, Milepost 1808 is also very reasonably priced. We were even able to take our bridal portraits with one of their gorgeous horses, Autumn, and the results were breathtaking. I cannot recommend this venue enough for any couple looking to have an unforgettable wedding day.

While it is conveniently located just one mile off of highway 74, the structure is comfortably nestled in a private community in the heart of Western NC Mountains, boasting awe-inspiring views and serene surroundings.

We are SO lucky we found this venue for our wedding! It's been a long time planning - but Alexis was super communicative and responsive for every question in our 20 months of planning. She made all the decisions a breeze and was so detail oriented during our walk through to ensure our vision was received. Our guests were amazed by the venue's beauty and all night we received compliments and "HOW did you find this place?! it's BREATHTAKING"! We just responded with "we know ;)" I will also have to say - having the getting ready suites on site made the whole day even that much more of a breeze. We provided our own food & drink but the Bride's Suite Bathtub is something out of a luxury castle's home. AMAZING photo opportunities! The Groom's suite with pool table, TV, video games & darts was perfect for my partner and his group. Even though there was a wedding there the night before ours - Alexis had everything under control in terms of a rehearsal the morning of our wedding. We all arrived about an hour ahead of official venue access, ran through our rehearsal, and put cars in place to unload when we got to our access time. Her team was top notch - and had all our decor items set up perfectly. I also LOVED that we didn't have to tear down or clean up anything other than what we brought in. I can not put into words how much I recommend this venue for your perfect mountaintop wedding or event. It vastly exceeded our expectations and I hope they keep expanding their venture here in Whittier, NC!!

We have a stone patio with fireplace for after hours or cocktail hour and a prep kitchen for catering. Charlyn Farms is the ideal rustic elegant event space. Dress it up or be minimal, this space can fit any bride's wedding vision.

We LOVED this venue! Everything was beautiful, there are lots of places for guests to hang out while the bridal party takes photos, and the coordinator is very attentive and knowledgeable! The only thing I would suggest is to have in person meetings to discuss plans and expectations rather than by email or text!

My husband and I hosted our wedding at The Willow and Whisk back in June. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or for better hosts! The property is absolutely beautiful and Andrea and her family were amazing to work with. They were the most gracious hosts and super accommodating for our weekend. We rented the venue from Friday-Sunday for us and the wedding party, which was so convenient for our friends coming from out of state. Andrea also helped me coordinate with all of my vendors, which made the weekend go much smoother than if I had done it all myself. Every single one of our guests had nothing but great things to say about the venue and the experience. We hope to come back and stay for an anniversary trip some day! If you're looking for a secluded yet beautiful venue to host a small wedding or get together, I highly highly recommend The Willow and Whisk.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Nantahala Weddings and were so happy we chose them as our venue. Jody and Jess, the venue owners, provided excellent communication throughout the planning process - they responded quickly to all of our questions and requests for information. The mountain backdrop could not have been more perfect for our wedding vision. The outdoor ceremony space was intimate yet spacious, with beautiful landscaping and mountain views that made for incredible photos. For the value, we felt Nantahala Weddings was very reasonably priced compared to other venues we toured, we got the full weekend with no set end time! We highly recommend them for any couple looking for a stunning mountain venue with responsive, friendly owners.

The Retreat at Hiawassee River was the perfect venue for our wedding weekend. They were prompt with communication and helpful with all my questions, making the planning process seamless. We rented the all cabins and the pavilion so only our guests were able to stay on-site. It made for a very fun weekend as we got to spend more time with our guests. We also had the flexibility to do what we wanted throughout the weekend - there were no time constraints on start & end times for Friday & Saturday gatherings - which was exactly what we were looking for. Lastly, the decor closet was amazing. We had to bring much less decor knowing that the closet was full of decor options. The Retreat at Hiawassee River exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful and unique wedding destination.

The Grove venue in Hendersonville is both modern and historically beautiful at the same time. So much care has been taken to preserve the worn patina of the walls and original brick while creating a warm, modern setting, and the big windows bring in so much natural light. This venue is a blank slate and lends to any design aesthetic, and works well for all seasons. It’s really a must see!

My husband and I are so happy that we had our wedding reception at Terra Incognita Vineyard. Our wedding day was brisk and windy, so the staff pulled down the pavilion's sidewalls and made a cozy fire to keep our guests comfortable. The landscape at the venue is stunning! There are two beautiful mountain views, and the pavilion overlooks the vineyard. Our photographer had so much to work with, and our photos turned out great! It was a joy to work with Sarah and the entire Terra Incognita team; they were professional, friendly, and always quick to reply to our questions. I've worked with many vendors, and they are one of the best. They had a calm, steady, reassuring presence- it's clear that the staff loves what they do. Their passion shows in their work! I would highly recommend this venue.

I adore Hawkesdene! As a local wedding photographer, I have the honor of visiting Hawkesdene multiple times each year. Every time I go, I am blown away by the service and kindness of the staff. They think of everything, and are willing to help at any second! Truly, they are gems! Beyond that, the place is stunning!! The grounds are beautifully manicured with trees, shrubs, flowers, and more. It's extremely picturesque both around the main house area as well as at the top of the mountain. I could honestly photograph a single couple at Hawkesdene for 3 days and still not visit all of the spots I would like to capture photographs! The cabins and rooms are lovely and have everything one would need. They are also beautiful inside and make for a perfect getting ready areas. Plus, I LOVE how all of the cabins are a very short walk from the center of it all- the wedding ceremony sites and reception area! The food, oh the food. It is downright amazing! From grazing tables to savory meals to desserts, it's all SO GOOD! Every time I am there, I hear guests talking about how much they like the food, too! The Venue at Falls Park is a gorgeous and intimate location for a wedding, and the included options made for our perfect blend of convenience and DIY personalization. Our coordinator and her team were excellent on the day of our wedding, and her flower arrangements were incredible. She communicated with our vendors and ran a smooth rehearsal - having her venue coordinator services included with the venue allowed the whole family to enjoy the day. However, the communication between us leading up to the event was frustratingly full of errors and added a lot of stress. At the end of the day, we had a beautiful wedding. The venue has a wonderful floorplan and flow, and all the amenities we could have asked for. Having the bridal suite onsite made our timeline very relaxed, and the coordinator clearly has a great working relationship with other vendors in Greenville. The location downtown was great for our guests, and we were able to take photos down by the river. We are so glad we had our wedding at The Venue at Falls Park.

Her customer service was amazing. She answered my 2000 questions quickly and eased my many anxieties. The packages the Westin offers allow you to create the wedding of your dreams. I loved not having to worry about rentals, caterers, bar staff, hotel rooms, getting-ready areas, and even pre-wedding snacks. The Westin did it all. We managed to stay within budget and still have an amazing wedding.
