It is so beautiful, there is many beautiful spots on the property to choose from to have your wedding ceremony. Sharon and Maria were incredible. We were originally supposed to have our wedding at on a family members property, but they pulled out on us 82 days from the wedding. With a stroke of luck they had our date available. I emailed and called on a Monday morning and Sharon called me on speaker phone while driving her kids to work because she understood my urgency. They got me in for a meeting that very day and we officially booked the venue the next day. Honestly the entire situation was a blessing. They really handle everything for you the day of and the help so much in the planning process when it comes to your decor and schedule planning. They communicated well and promptly. They were there on time and waiting for us at every meeting we had scheduled. They accommodated our schedules. I joked that although I have never taken anxiety meds, I believe that Maria is that in human form. Our wedding came together so beautifully. We were wanting a fun, and relax vibe of a family BBQ and we got exactly that. Having the covered porch was so nice for our guests that would rather conversate and chill, than dance and party. We were able to have an ice cream and pizza truck at the end of the night and they coordinated with them to set up in the right spot. For decor we literally just dropped off our boxes and went over last minute things, and they took it from there. We arrived and it was just how we wanted things and at the end of the night everything was neatly packed in the car to go. Pricing was also insanely good. We looked at many other bring your own vendor venues and non were priced as well as them and also coordinated the day for you. I would highly recommended this venue for your wedding, other large party or even smaller more intimate gatherings.

We have nothing but rave reviews of our amazing wedding weekend at the beautiful and historic Groton Inn! We cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone considering the Inn for their special event. With its rural/suburban setting close to Boston and Manchester NH airports, the Groton Inn’s charming Main Street location was ideal for ourselves, our families, and out of town guests who needed overnight accommodations. The rooms were all spacious, immaculately clean and very well appointed, and guests took full advantage of various amenities like the gym, lounge areas and hallway beverage stations. The delicious daily breakfast and the bridal suite options added to the ease of us preparing for our day wedding which was held right around the corner at The Barn at Gibbet Hill. Everyone also appreciated the convenience of being able to walk to nearby hair salons, eateries, and other local businesses, and we loved spending time on the spacious porch and the courtyard visiting with our guests. More specifically, we felt from our first meeting that we were in such good hands with Eleanor Keydel, Sales and Events Manager. She was so informative, efficient, well organized and thorough throughout the months’ long lead-up to our end of September wedding, and offered us much needed guidance and reassurance as we planned the table arrangement, decor and menus for both our Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party which were held in the Inn’s beautiful Keep’s Conservatory. Eleanor was consistently quick to respond to emailed questions and phone messages, and made it so easy scheduling face to face meetings with her despite her busy schedule and our out of town location. The warm decor and intimate feel in the Keep’s Conservatory provided the perfect backdrop for our wonderful rehearsal dinner followed by our Welcome Party. The fireplace and mantel where we displayed family photos added to the personalized feel and ambience. We have to give a special thanks to bartender extraordinaire, Kerrie, whose good humor and helpfulness went far to ensure our guests felt at ease throughout the evening. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared just as requested and beautifully presented, and though we are sorry we cannot identify them by name, there were a host of other event staff and servers present who all went out of their way so we felt special and celebrated all night long. The Groton Inn is uniquely wonderful, and we cannot imagine a more perfect setting for what truly was the wedding weekend of our dreams.

On the big day itself, Jenn went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. The venue itself is simply stunning - an elegant, antique home that has indescribable charm. The grounds are immaculately kept, the porch is perfect for a first look, and the tent is fantastic. We received so many compliments from our guests on our venue choice. My wife and I had our wedding at Mothership in the early Spring, and everything about the experience was top notch! Their Events Manager, Kelly, was one of the most organized, communicative and professional people I've ever worked with. From food options to set up and decorations, the Mothership team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their willingness to accommodate the many guests with varying dietary restrictions was astounding, and EVERYTHING was delicious. They even made our wedding cake plus an array of gluten free and vegan desserts. The space was perfect and was able to comfortably fit our guests for dinner to dancing. They converted their day-time cafe space into the most amazing dance floor for us and our DJ. All in all, this team truly made our special day PERFECT, and I will forever be recommending them to all of our friends and family!!

We recently had our wedding in July at The Barn At Blackstone National, and I can't recommend it highly enough. This venue is an absolute gem—what we loved about it most was our ability to fall in love with it by itself, simply stunning even with no decor. The ambiance was both elegant and rustic, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that our guests are still raving about. One of the standout highlights was the food. It was nothing short of amazing, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the delicious food. It was presented beautifully, too! Also- the Barn has the BEST chocolate chip cookies you’ll ever taste and I recommend trying them regardless of what you do for your wedding dessert. What truly made our day so seamless and stress-free was our incredible wedding coordinator, Kate (Kate the great or the GOAT as well called her). From start to finish, Kate was phenomenal. Her organizational skills were impeccable, and she paid meticulous attention to every detail, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch. Kate's personable nature and deep knowledge of wedding planning made us feel completely at ease. She was patient and responsive, always ready to address any questions or concerns we had. On the wedding day, she conducted everything flawlessly, allowing us to enjoy every moment with confidence and comfort. We truly are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with everyone at the Barn, but especially Kate. The Cambridge Boat Club was the perfect choice for our New England fall-themed wedding! It is an absolutely gorgeous location on the river with just the right amount of historic charm. We had originally considered going with all-inclusive venues, but ultimately opted for the flexibility we had with the CBC to craft our own vision. The venue features two distinct rooms, a larger room called the Drinkwater room, which can be used for the wedding dinner, the Club Room, which was used for cocktail hour and the dance floor, and a porch, which has a stunning view. The layout perfectly accommodated both the party enthusiasts and our more introverted guests, who preferred quieter spaces for rest and socialization away from the dance floor. Opting for this venue requires a more DIY approach compared to all-inclusive options. Since it is a historic building, there are some restrictions to be aware of, e.g. no sparklers or ceiling drapery, and existing wall decor generally need to stay on the wall. This was no issue for us since we had a clear vision for the wedding theme and decor, and enlisted the help of Tastings Catering (highly recommend, since they have previous experience working in this space and also handle some of the decor) and Designlight. Major shoutout to Katie Donnelly, the club manager at Cambridge Boat Club, who always responded in record time to all our inquiries and provided helpful guidance. With everyone's help, we were able to create the wedding of our dreams!

As this was during the Covid pandemic, we had multiple conversations regarding the safety of both the performers and the guests and all of our concerns were taken very seriously. The liberty was absolutely exceptional for our wedding. From day one, Ashley was so easy to work with. They were accommodating with our room block and along with that the Charles River Suite was beautiful. The food was amazing and all our guests continue to say one of the best meals they’ve ever had a wedding! The location as well was amazing for pictures- we went along the Charles river and in the public garden. I couldn’t recommend the liberty more for your wedding.

We used the Tree Top Room. A little under 100 guests. The outdoor ceremony space is beautiful. It’s deceiving because we were wondering how our guests would fit but it was more than enough. It’s also shaded which was perfect for a hot day. Wedding packages are very inclusive and don’t leave a lot for you to worry about. We went with the Ruby package which included 4 passed apps, a cheese and fruit display, champagne toast, salad course, choice of 3 entrees, wedding cake allowance and center pieces for the reception tables(sweet heart table was an extra fee but was reasonable). We added a late night snack station as well. We worked with Janet and had a Day of coordinator, banquet captain and a bridal attendant. The entire staff were absolutely amazing. We got so many compliments from our guests about how smoothly everything went, how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. If you are looking for an all inclusive place that will literally do everything and take away any chance of stress.. I cannot recommend them enough!! They really know what they are doing!

We had a great experience with Oakholm Farm Estate, and truly feel we picked the best venue out of what we toured! From the start, we were informed and involved. I have over 100 emails back and forth with our appointed day of coordinator which really made the process of planning an out of state wedding as seamless as possible! Oakholm is such a beautiful place, they have so much to offer, and they very clearly know what they are doing which again made all of the planning, but most importantly, day of anxiety and stress free! 782Wrentham was the perfect setting for our belated wedding reception. We had time to decorate and add personal touches on the morning of the event. My makeup artist (Gyna Paine) traveled to me and used the rental space as my bridal suite. The venue was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating and parking for 100 guests. For dinner, we all were seated under a large, well-lit tent. The vendors we hired (DJ/photo booth, dance floor, bar service, and catering) made for a unique event that wow-ed our family and friends. We’ll remember August 24th, 2024 forever.

Our wedding reception at the Best Western Adams Inn in Quincy on July 27th, 2024, was perfect! The Event Manager, Denise, was flexible and accommodating, making planning a breeze. We did a dinner tasting, received special guest room rates, and stayed in the lovely Bridal Suite for both getting ready and our wedding night. Denise also shared great vendor recommendations; their wedding package even included our cake. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The team was accommodating, and everything was perfectly organized. I highly recommend the Best Western Adams Inn for anyone looking for a fantastic wedding venue!

Everything about this venue was incredible, from the picturesque mansion to the wonderful, supportive staff. From our very first interactions with the sales team (Helen) to our day-of staff (Casey & May), everyone was extremely professional, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. They were gracious in answering our questions, calming our nerves, and being an assuring force throughout it all. We are so grateful for the love and care they put into our special day to keep everything organized and on track. Fireside's food was phenomenal and all the late night snacks and desserts were a huge hit with our guests. There was also a nice flow throughout the night and our guests commented that they were grateful that they knew where to go at every point in the wedding. We had rain on our wedding day but we are pleased to say that the ceremony under the tent was still magical, and actually created a nice moody atmosphere and our photos came out amazing. The heaters kept the tent dry and comfortable all night. We hope someone else we know gets married at the Stevens Estate soon so that we can attend!

The venue space itself is just gorgeous - beautiful, clean, and well-maintained with a medieval flair that made me feel like a princess. If you’re looking to book here and have the option to hire Doe, DO IT! She was my go to person with wedding planning and made the process way easier! We also hired her for her beautiful rental decor & florals! She absolutely killed it and it could not have turned out better. Everyone loved the florals & decor! My bouquet & the bridesmaids were breathtaking and she nailed all my inspo I sent her! She did our arbor also and it was stunning!! She’s truly an amazing person and really cares about all of your wants and needs! & bonus because she makes it happen!! Overall If I could have done anything different I wouldn’t have! We had the best experience with the Bedford Event Center. Everyone was so kind, professional, and most importantly, approachable. Communication was clear, costs were discussed upfront and were very reasonable. There were no surprise surcharges that we needed to worry about. They provided and set up linens, tables and chairs, and we could bring in pretty much any caterer/food we wanted. They have fun features like uplighting and the cloud over the ballroom. They worked with us to create a signature drink that was a hit. Not to mention, it’s gorgeous! They’ve done a great job creating a space that can be used for a variety of events. The Oceanview of Nahant was the 2nd and last wedding venue we toured because we immediately fell in love. Photos cannot do the Oceanview justice - this venue is immaculate, swoon-worthy, and a ‘hidden gem’ just outside of Boston! By some miracle, they had a last-minute opening for an evening wedding and we planned our "simplistic, but elegant with a touch of nautical" dream wedding in just under a year. From our tour with Brenda (Owner) to our wedding day, everything was flawless. My husband and I cannot praise the staff enough, but a huge shout-out goes to our point of contact & day of coordinator, Allison (Director of Weddings & Events). She went above and beyond, answering all of our questions, including working with her bartenders to ensure our special signature raspberry sangria was a hit and that everything ran like clockwork on the big day. We also want to thank Lish, our co day-of coordinator, for being so joyful and also making sure our moving our florals from the ceremony to the reception looked perfect. Our guests raved about the food (the lamb passed apps were a hit!) and enjoyed exploring all the different spaces from ballroom to cocktail lounge, terraces & “lawn” games! It's been just over a week since our wedding, and we’re still in awe of our day. If you are considering having your special day at the Oceanview, book it. It's worth every penny.

Back in 2021, we came to view Lord Thompson Manor as our first wedding venue. Afterwards, we only went to one other venue, and decided that there were no more that we wanted to go see. Lord Thompson Manor was the one for us. We loved the uniqueness of Lord Thompson Manor, because we are not ballroom people! We are thrilled with our decision and wish we could relive the weekend over and over. Everything was absolutely perfect. Everyone within the Lord Thompson Manor staff was so accommodating and beyond caring and kind. The staff truly made us feel like we were family. It was so hard to leave on that Sunday! The attention to detail was immaculate and hasn't gone unnoticed. We had an absolutely amazing wedding at Willowdale. The facility is gorgeous, the staff is amazing and everything was perfect. And the food, the food was so good! Before the actual amazing day, we had a seamless planning process, we always had someone to help us with questions (both big and small) and always felt supported. Long Hill was a dream, it felt like a private fairy garden. Gorgeous location and the perfect size for us to take photos privately and guests to explore but not feel too far away (for wrangling from cocktail hour to dinner for example). The Long Hill staff were super communicative and responsive, sometimes a little stressful to work with as it felt like there were a number of restrictions but this really translated to a very stream-lined and well-organized wedding day as they brought up any potential issues early and then on the actual day they were super, super supportive and great to work with. They do have a list of 5 set caterers you need to work with, we were given an exception because of a dietary restriction my in-laws have (need to pay a 1000 fee), but this was tricky as Long Hill expects caterers to take on much more than just food. You'll also want to rent a dance floor (700 in the area) as the under tent area is brick. We had 115 of us total with buffet & dance floor, it was cozy & lovely but any more than 120 would feel tight to me. We were able to have a ceremony for an extra 1000 and then the reception was 5,200 for 5-10 on a Friday. In addition to the gorgeous gardens and beautiful cocktail area off the porch, we could take photos inside which was really lovely and a great break from the heat (our wedding day was 85 and VERY humid). Felt very professionally run and they worked well with my dear friend who was our day-of-coordinator and we just feel extremely grateful to have such a gorgeous location!

My wedding was at Stonebridge on 9/16/2023 and we had the time of our lives. Jason and his team really made sure that myself and my husband were taken care of the whole day. Hurricane Lee came first thing in the morning but that didn't stop us. After clearing around 1, Jason and the team set up everything outside for a beautiful outdoor windy ceremony. For pictures, there team knew exactly were to take us around the property for the best photo shots. The food was excellent and they were very accommodating to our guests who had allergies.

Hotel Providence was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue. I loved moving from room to room, having a dance floor away from space for folks to have coffee and dessert, and to be able to walk upstairs at the end of the night. We could not have been more happy. There has been a recent change in events personnel, which led to some miscommunications and a few things not happening as expected. While nothing that altered any piece of our enjoyment, I would recommend couples who are more anxious or type A to hire a day/month of coordinator to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible. The staff at HP are five-star, and they handled every questions, concern, issue, and guest with grace and professionalism. I thought it was well-priced., and for us, having a venue that "does it all" was super important.

The Villa is absolutely stunning. We had our ceremony in the garden and reception in the tent. It was the most perfect day we could have imagined! Ellen was our event producer - she was absolutely wonderful! She had great ideas and eased our worries. She was always prompt with replies, and very organized. We also enjoyed having our cocktail hour on the Rooftop at the Providence G. The vibes up there were immaculate, and we also loved the appetizers and drinks. When we started planning our July wedding, we knew that we wanted a beautiful, eco-conscious, outdoor venue in the rolling Massachusetts hills where we could host guests for the whole weekend and people could camp and sit by a fire at night. We weren’t sure we’d find someplace that checked all those boxes; then we found the Montague Retreat Center. It was everything we were looking for and more. We loved that we had the whole weekend to see our guests and that they got to know the place, too. The Center already has a tent set up for the reception, and the venue was so well set up with its own furniture and catering-ready kitchen, that other vendors kept telling us how delighted they were to be going back there. We had around 100 guests, about 25 of which camped at the Center. The camp site is in a pine forest on the property, and our camping guests were all very happy with their stay and with the facilities. A lot happens in a wedding weekend, but the staff is prepared for anything and everything. The caretaker, John, was particularly notable in how quickly and quietly he took care of the facilities while we were there. We’d turn around and he’d have taken care of the trash or put another few logs on the fire. It was easy and wonderful. It was wonderful to have things like lights already set up, and a room of wedding decorations others have left to reuse or leave instead of stress about bringing everything and cleaning it all up. We were glad they compost everything and the facility even runs on geo-thermal heating/cooling. We took the Retreat Center’s recommendations for almost all of our vendors, and they were all wonderful (especially Wheelhouse Catering for our reception and Jackie M coordinating all of our vendors and the day of the wedding). We got flowers from Red Fire Farm, and sent our guests to check out the Montague Book Mill (and took photos there ourselves!). We are so glad we found the Montague Retreat Center!
