On my arrival, parking was easy and there were clear directions made for all attendees. When I arrived I was greeted by Justine, and assisted with my bags by others staffed by Justine to offer helping hands to my work area that was separate, clean, and spacious. My work area had amazing lighting already set up, a chair and table set up, and a personalized gift bag and refreshments waiting for me. I thought that it was above and beyond with service for her vendors. It felt good to work in an environment where I walked in with great impressions, service, and appreciation for my services rendered. I was grateful to have a setup that allowed me to work with ease and comfort. Each person who required makeup had a time slot and was on time and prepped very well. Justine did a wonderful job at making sure everyone was aware of what was going on and where we would be, if working. I appreciated her attentiveness to detail and how through her planning was executed. I also received an itinerary of the event and it was filled with beautiful moments and fun. “I truly cannot put into words how amazing our entire experience was from start to finish. We found John and Avec L'Amour through our photographer, Heather Soucy. She told me that her family even used John for her brother's wedding because of everyone she has worked with, she trusted him to document their special day in the best way. That spoke volumes to me. When I say these two are a 'dream team' I am not kidding. As someone who had never been professionally photographed or video'd before, I was really nervous about looking and feeling awkward. John made my husband, Mike, and me feel SO comfortable throughout the whole day. It was so cool seeing these two incredibly creative minds feeding off each other to get the best possible shot. It was a little rainy on our day and they actually took video/photos of us inside a puddle reflection--I mean who thinks of that?! We were running a little late to the reception when our portraits were supposed to be taken and John knew we didn't want to miss too much of cocktail hour. We were able to get the most beautiful shots in just 30 minutes, including drone, which was super important to us. The Avec L'Amour team got absolutely stunning video without us feeling like we had cameras in our faces all night. We booked John for the 8-hour package, but realized we were not going to be able to get the bouquet toss or cake cutting in that time frame. NO worries!! John offered to stay an extra hour to capture the remainder of the evening. Now for the deliverables: we got our first teaser video back within 3 weeks of our day and I was absolutely blown away. We received the full gallery which included a 1 minute teaser, 3 minute trailer, and the full 1.5 hour long event not even a MONTH after our wedding day. It was just like watching a move of all our favorite people and he captured the day so perfectly. I cannot say enough: RUN, don't walk to book John and Avec L'Amour for your special day!! Worth every penny. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Led by singer, songwriter, and recording artist Melody Rodriguez, the band can be heard in numerous styles such as Latin Pop, Boy Bands and 90’s nostalgia, while authentically performing standards and classics with powerhouse vocals.

“When looking for a band for a multicultural wedding, we knew they had to be special. Just the Melody was the first band we reached out to and it was clear from the onset that we didn’t have to look any further because we knew they were the ones. Throughout the entire experience, Melody and Edvin were an absolute dream to work with. They were incredibly responsive and took the planning process seriously while also keeping it fun. We were able to have multiple planning meetings where they clearly listened to our vision and more specifically the energy we were hoping to bring to the entire evening. Our wedding included multiple different musical moments that Just the Melody was able to provide with aplomb. The ceremony was romantic instrumental music that transitioned to modern pop instrumentals during the first half of the cocktail hour. Then a Mariachi band took over the second half of the cocktail hour with Melody providing gorgeous vocals for a few songs before the 12-piece band took over the magic for the rest of the night. The band with Edvin as MC matched the energy of our guests the entire night in a way we never expected. After our first dance, a beautiful rendition of Luis Miguel’s”Por Debajo De La Mesa”, the band moved right into a wondrous lineup of Latin music including Cumbia, Bachata, and Salsa that got our guests up and on their feet. From that point forward the dancing was nonstop with both American and Latin music filling the air. They also helped us celebrate the joining of our Jewish and Latino cultures by playing the Hora followed by La Vibora De La Mar. Edvin and Melody worked well with our venue to time our fathers’ speeches when our guests paused for a moment to eat and they were thoughtful with the tempo of the night by pairing this with our father/bride and mother/groom dances. After dinner they brought the energy right back up and we even got to see some of Edvin’s unreal dance moves when the 90s/2000s pop music started up. We could absolutely not believe it when they allowed us to come on stage and belt out one of our favorite songs (Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle”). It was a living dream (especially for the bride). We cannot say enough how much both of us and all of our guests absolutely adored Just the Melody. We have been told multiple times by our guests that they didn't expect to go to a concert along with our wedding and that they loved every minute of it. And we did too. The music the entire evening was exceptional and better than anything we could have come up with in our wildest dreams for the evening. Thank you Melody, Edvin and the entire Just the Melody crew - we could not have chosen better for our wedding!!”

“We got married exactly one year ago today – and what a day it was, perfectly captured by Kevin! We had a large wedding party and family, and Kevin wrangled them so well, while everyone was having so much fun. We ended up with a library of absolutely gorgeous photos, including a variety of backdrops, groups of people, and moments. “MSMP Media was the perfect choice for our wedding. Beyond the fact that their editing style was what we were looking for with bright photos, their team was incredible. We had the pleasure of working with their West Michigan Team. Jordan was fantastic and even got me a small birthday gift because my wedding was on my birthday! It was small details like this that really made our experience so great. She was great at getting us ready for photos with great directions. None of the wedding party were huge "photo" people, but she made us feel comfortable to allow for such great photos. Her eye for shots was fantastic. We were originally drawn to his unique style of work, music-video like approach, and storytelling ability in capturing the essence of people’s wedding days. Working with Steven was incredible and we can’t say enough about how much we loved his work. We booked him back in 2019 for our 2020 wedding, but of course with COVID we had to push it back a year. He was super flexible and accommodating, and we still figured out a plan to have video footage of an intimate ceremony in 2020, as well as the original plan for 2021. He did such an amazing job incorporating the two ceremonies together into one seamless video, which he turned around even quicker than we expected! Steven is a delight to work with—truly a genuinely kind person. “I HIGHLY recommend our videographer Justin at Villa films. Funny story was, we actually won a photo booth with him. That’s how we came across him and saw he also offered other services. We wanted to use him for one of his other services because we were so thankful for winning the photo booth. He just started in the wedding industry not too long ago, but he is an absolute dream to work with !! Even with eveything changing with COVID he has stayed consistent. Having our zoom meetings with him actually got me excited for our wedding again that we had in January. I was always able to reach him if I had any questions. My favorite thing was he worked with us and our budget. He would listen to everything that was impotent to us and what we wanted in the video.
