Thalia is a NYC & destination wedding photographer based in Queens, NY. Being the lead photographer and owner of her business, she has 10 years of experience capturing engaged couples. She has developed a keen eye for detail, leaving couples with intentional photographs that capture the authenticity of their wedding day. A New York native, she grew up on Long Island for many years where she received her BFA in Visual Arts from SUNY Old Westbury and now - if she's not traveling - you can find her enjoying a new coffee shop or re-watching The Office!

Awarded Best of Zola
We originally found Thalia on TikTok and she captured the most magical engagement photos for us in NYC (we’re from Melbourne, Australia). She then made our absolutely dreams come true and agreed to come to Melbourne to shoot our wedding!!!!!!!! We had the most magical week with her and she made our friends and family feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and she captured the most incredible moments for us. Due to a mix up with our officiant on the day, we couldn’t actually get legally married - so we’ll be going to city hall in NYC next month and you BEST BELIEVE Thalia will be joining us for a THIRD time to capture our lil city hall marriage day! We’ve found not only a lifetime photographer, but a lifetime friend.

I offer Fun, Elegant, and Exciting Wedding & Engagement Photography. I'd love to be your photographer. My style, I'm a photojournalist. I capture styled and candid shots as they happen. Some people say I have a sixth sense when it comes to capturing the perfect moment. I'd say it because I love my job and have had a great deal of practice doing it.

Awarded Best of Zola
I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Sean. From the moment we contacted him, he was professional, warm, and dedicated to creating an amazing experience for his clients. I am normally very camera shy, but Sean was so easy to work with that he put me at ease immediately. And as a cherry on top, he sent our photos back within the week! When we were choosing wedding photographers, we wanted someone whose work would transport us back to our wedding day. His photos captured the small, intimate moments that we will treasure most about the happiest day of our lives- the laughs as the wedding party prepared together, the moment my father saw me in my dress for the first time, the roller coaster of emotions as we read our vows to each other, the rowdy dancing at the end of the night. I can look at a picture and remember exactly how I felt at that moment. To Sean, the photographer who captures joy- from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Know that you have created something special that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. It is clear that you take great pride in your work and it was truly wonderful to work with you.

Chrysa Leigh Photography

5.0

Syracuse, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Serves Big Indian, NY

I'm Chrysa- a self-taught photographer since 2014. My entire life I've always been in love with taking pictures. Whether it was using a Polaroid as a kid, bringing the ole digital point & shoot along to the bars in college (until I dropped it in a vodka RedBull - RIP) or finally growing up & buying my first big girl DSLR in my early 20s, I have always had a flare for anything creative. I'm sure my parents wished I had a flare for performing heart surgery but here we are... I love travel & all things adventure/outdoors (Want to climb a mountain to elope? I'm your girl. Want to exchange vows in a National Park? I've been to 29, count me in).

Awarded Best of Zola
Chrysa is the absolute best. She makes you feel as if you’ve known each other your whole lives. She’s professional, friendly and truly knows her trade. If I could go back in time I would have booked her for my engagement, wedding AND boudoir photos. You will not be disappointed with her work and you will enjoy every moment spent with her. She’s one of the best!

Amative Creative

4.9

Lynchburg, VA
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $4,800
  • Serves Big Indian, NY

Hello there! I'm Andrea, owner of Amative Creative, and every weekend we're so blessed to be able to tell the love stories of so many amazing couples. Like many others in this industry might say, we simply adore weddings. But what makes us a little different is our entire brand is centered around telling love stories specifically curated to reflect your vision and aesthetic. "Amative" means to be prone to love, so as you can see, we want nothing more than to tell your love story! But what makes us truly unique is that we understand every love story looks different. And we personalize every aspect of how we document your wedding day!

Awarded Best of Zola
It gives me no pleasure giving Andrea a less than perfect review, because her pictures are indeed gorgeous and she is a very talented editor and artist, and I do love my photos. With that, there were some things during the process I wish were more transparent and I thought others should be informed. She does not honor her contract at all/it needs to be updated. My signed contract stated I’d receive min 3 previews within 3 days of my wedding. I waited a full week until contacting her; she stated that the contract was “old” and didn’t account for editing…again so update it. OR at the very least admit and let me know you will not be meeting the terms of the agreement and tell me when I can expect them (she didn’t). I had no reason to believe I wouldn’t get previews for over 2 weeks and it was incredibly disappointing/frustrating. Additionally, the photos she chose to include were not what I’d hoped, I had several pictures of my dj but zero of my family…like why? Additionally, 3 days before my wedding she texted me asking if it was okay for her to send someone else to do my wedding. Now, I am understanding of illness and family issues but if you really needed to sub my wedding, call me and and explain. But to put the decision on a CLIENT and ask if they are okay with you not coming as expected put me in a tough position, not to mention a stress I didn’t need before my wedding. The contract also stated I’d get the full gallery by the one month mark, and after I didn’t get the previews until almost then, I knew that timeline was laughable. I was provided no communication as to when I might expect them just that she was “unusually” busy (clearly overbooked, admitting 5 weddings a weekend, etc) Or, you can stalk her IG stories for her queue but that just shows you where you are in line, not when you can expect anything. Eventually I received my photos 16weeks after my wedding. While they were absolutely stunning, I was still a little upset about little details ignored (leaving scratches when I specifically asked to have them concealed out) or photos that were only provided in black and white, when I wanted color or the option for both. I’ll wrap up by saying yes her photos are amazing but go in aware deadlines won’t be met or communicated and you’re not guaranteed to actually have Andrea herself (I’m sure her whole team is amazing, shout out to Jo!) it’s clear anyone on her team is interchangeable. If you’re not bothered by any of that she’s amazing!

If you're the kind of couple that would prefer their photographer feel like one of the guests as opposed to a paparazzi, and if when the neighbors complain about the noise, you just invite them to the party, keep reading. I take a documentary-style approach to my weddings. Roaming with a camera, I capture the candid moments and small details that make your wedding unique to you, while making sure to set aside time for a few special portraits.

Awarded Best of Zola
Stephanie is well worth the price. She’s taken photos of our family starting with our engagement and just did our first family photos with baby. She’s taken pictures of everything in between. Our wedding photos were perfect and we got so many amazing photos each shoot we do. She’s easy to work with, adaptable (we ended up being late to our own wedding and she captured amazing photos of the venue while waiting) and she got amazing photos of my husband who hates his photo getting taking. Hiring her is the best decision you will make!

Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

Awarded Best of Zola
We loved Isaac and his wife, Jing, who photographed our wedding earlier this month. Isaac was super calm and collected and on top of everything. His photography style was perfect for us. He already delivered about half of our retouched photos a week after the wedding which was insane and I love every single one. He was flexible with the 5 flower girls we had in and out of pictures and the multiple areas on our venue property. Overall an amazing experience and I recommend his work to anyone and everyone looking. He was very considerate when I first reached out about his work and wanted to use him and was very mindful of his travel fees to fit in our budget.

We are a married couple of photographers. Within years of career, we discovered what’s really matters - we want to make people happy. Weddings have it all: new interesting people, touching stories, warm family relationships, tears. A lot of tears! Oh, don’t forget dances and sparklers! So, it’s fun! 🙂 Also, we love weddings because it’s the most challenging kind of photography in the field, it combines all the genres. It make you think, move and react quickly in constantly changing surrounding. We have no room for mistakes. So It’s never boring! 🙂

Awarded Best of Zola
We absolutely loved working with Tati and Roman!! We knew that we wanted to work with them immediately after our first conversation with Tati. Having two photographers was a key differentiator for us because we knew that it would allow us to capture all of the important moments from our wedding day. Tati and Roman are both so genuinely warm, kind, and very easy to work with. They were quick to respond to all of our questions leading up to our wedding and also helped us organize our day-of-timeline in a way that allowed us to get all of the photos that we wanted while also providing us with plenty of time to be present and have fun with friends and family. Tati and Roman made us and all of our friends and family feel comfortable when taking photos and provided guidance when needed to ensure that we got the perfect shots. We were blown away when we got our wedding photos and are so happy with how they turned out! Tati and Roman captured all of the beautiful and authentic moments from that night and you can feel the love that was in the room. We cannot thank Tati and Roman enough and are so happy that we were able to work with them.

Saratoga Springs, NY

Photographing weddings and elopements is a privilege that I do not take lightly. I treat each moment with as much care as if it were my own! While I am happy to take on weddings of any size, I specialize in intimate weddings or engagement sessions where I can embrace a documentary, candid approach. My favorite moments to capture are those quiet, unplanned interactions. I adore the small details. The moments that sometimes get overlooked but often times help tell the story of your wedding day the most. I thrive with couples who aren’t afraid to be silly and embrace the moments as they come as opposed to forcing it.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I could not be happier with our choice of choosing Sydney as our wedding photographer. We were so happy with our engagement photos and even more blown away by our wedding photos. Taking photos can be a stressful part of your wedding day and Sydney made our experience so far from stressful. Her photography style is beautiful and we will absolutely use her for future events/memorable moments. 20/10 recommend!!!!

HI, I'm Alli! I am a destination wedding & portrait photographer traveling around the United States since 2016! As your wedding photographer my goal is to capture the memories you're in the moment experiencing so you can be taken right back to the day no mater how much time has passed. Wedding photography is so much more than pretty pictures. These are heirlooms that you will pass down to those who love you, so let's give them honest real images about a love worth remembering JUST AS IT IS!

Awarded Best of Zola
Booking Alli as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made wedding planning!! From creating a fully comprehensive timeline of the day, putting together a collage of Pinterest inspiration photos to know exactly what we wanted, scouting out photo locations at our venue the day before the wedding, making everyone feel comfortable and confident on the day of, and truly just working with efficiency, skill, and professionalism. Alli and Josh truly went above and beyond and we are so grateful for them!! Our friends, family, bridal party and everyone involved agreed that the Mannixco was the best overall photographer that any of us have ever worked with! One of our groomsmen said, “a lot of people with a good camera can take a good photo, but not everyone can be a great photographer like Alli”!! If you want beautiful wedding photos and a photographer who knows what they’re doing but feels like a friend at your wedding, I 100% would recommend the Mannixco to anyone!!

Hi, my name is Millie! I picked up a camera 11 years ago and I've been wholeheartedly devoted to this craft ever since. Through photography, I've come to understand that the meaningful connections I form with others hold a special significance for me and should be documented. My journey has naturally directed me toward wedding photography, enabling me to translate your love into art. To me, nothing compares to distilling love into photographs.

We are SO happy with our decision to work with Millie on our wedding. She was the best (and even more). Our photos are gorgeous, and we are so grateful for all of her amazing work leading up to and throughout our wedding weekend. Ahead of our wedding, Millie did a beautiful job on our engagement photos and then sent us the most beautiful photo care package with a gorgeous and thoughtful wedding planning book. As we got closer to our wedding, we felt relaxed because Millie had planned all of the details and made sure to know exactly what we wanted and desired for the big day (and then organized everything into a very detailed timeline). On our wedding, Millie was the perfect photographer, capturing every special moment and fitting in perfectly alongside our loved ones. I could go on and on. Millie is kind, professional and hardworking. She was always on time and met deadlines. I would recommend her to everyone for their photography needs. You won't be disappointed!

Lindsay and Nathan are an incredible team. From booking them two years ago, doing our engagement session, and now having gotten sneak peaks back from our wedding that was just 2 days ago, I’m completely blown away by how incredible they have been! Lindsay is a complete pro. Group photos flew by because she was so great at directing and wrangling everyone. I had multiple people comment on how she was EVERYWHERE non-stop at our wedding, doing an amazing job the whole time! I just know she got every picture I wanted and more, and with how gorgeous our sneak peaks turned out I know I’ll absolutely love them! She and Nathan were so on top of everything, and made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Not only that, she truly went above and beyond helping to safety pin a rip in my dress. The day was a whirlwind but Lindsay and Nathan made it so easy! I would hire them a million times over!

This is delightfully different elopement + wedding photography! From helicopter elopements, to hiking engagements, to weddings with bouncy houses, I capture the adventurous, quirky, and unique. Based in both New York and California, with travel worldwide, I've photographed couples on 6 continents. My creative, fun, and candid photography uses innovative techniques and unique ideas to get photos that make you look twice. Whether you're saying vows in your backyard or having a 3-day adventure wedding in the rainforest, I'll catch every spontaneous moment of joy and laughter—and plan a few awesomely unique shots on top of it all.

Awarded Best of Zola
Kathryn was so great to work with! I am overly easy-going and did not have a clear idea of what I wanted for photos for my engagement and wedding, but once I saw Kathryn's photos from other events I was sure I wanted her! Her photos show so much personality and are so vibrant, she gave me a sneak peak of the wedding photos just days after the wedding and it got me so excited to see the rest and made me 100% sure I chose the right photographer for my 'big day'. She came up to Humboldt County, CA for our engagement shoot and we did an adventure style session, we hiked all around the College Cove forest and beach and she had both my husband and I feeling very comfortable in front of the camera (neither of us usually would be). The photos came out so beautifully and there are so many to chose from and love. Her assistant was also great! My wedding was pretty un-organized but everything came together so perfectly at the end. She was very understanding when my payment had to come in small portions as well because my Zelle app wasn't working properly. Pretty much all I told her was that I wanted 90% candid in the moment photos and just a few family portraits on top of our couple portraits. I was very grateful that all I had to do was give her a few sentences of what I knew I wanted and she gave her all to give me what I wanted and more! I would 100% chose her over and over again to photograph our events!

We’re Lexi and Tom, the partners behind Tom Studios Photography! We share a love of capturing connections and realize the incredible significance a photo can hold! We have been blessed to capture 100+ weddings and have made so many amazing friends along the way!

Awarded Best of Zola
Tom and Lexi are just the best! First, we had a fantastic engagement photo session at Ithaca Falls and Cornell Botanical Gardens in October – they really put us at ease in front of the camera and we had a ton of fun, and received amazing shots that we used for our Save-the-Dates. Fast forward to our summer (August) wedding day at The Treman Center – Tom & Lexi efficiently arranged our first look (Lexi even arranged an impromptu “pre-first look” with the bridal party, prior to bride/groom first look, which was adorable!). We took all the shots we wanted to take and then some, both our pre- and post-ceremony photos (which were a blast) were captured super quickly/efficiently (but it didn’t feel like we were rushing) – so we had ample time to enjoy hanging out with our guests during cocktail hour. Lexi and Tom suggested an amazing night time silhouette shot that looks spectacular (in lieu of our sunset photo idea which didn’t happen due to rain/clouds). We received our sneak peak of both the engagement session and wedding day within 48 hours, which really held us over as we eagerly awaited seeing the full galleries. From our wedding, Tom & Lexi put together a beautiful slideshow of selected shots set to the sweetest soundtrack, which was a ton of fun to watch and relive the day until the final full portfolio was ready. The final online gallery was sorted into specific albums for different parts of the day which made it really easy to browse, and is easily shareable. One guest (the bride's brother) commented, “These are honestly the best wedding photos I've seen” and so many other guests commented on how gorgeous all the photos are; we can’t wait to share prints with our family and wedding party. We are seriously amazed. Tom & Lexi truly captured the love and happiness felt during our special day -- we keep looking at them and thinking, how did you capture everyone so perfectly, allowing their personalities shine through? How were you both in 1350831 different places at once and yet totally able to blend into the background? How do you guys keep raising the bar with each additional peek at our photos?? We are so grateful we chose you as our photographers!!! Thank you Tom & Lexi!

I’ve spent years refining an approach that allows me to sincerely honor the moment — knowing when to step in and adjust a subject or environment, and sensing when to stand back and allow a moment to just be. With me, your photographs will be an intentional representation of this time of your life — imagery that will make you feel like it was just yesterday, and yet, feel forever untouched by time. Truly, the honor is all mine. Thank you for considering me to document this luxuriously intimate wedding event.

April and Mike are a wonderful team. They arrived early, and I was impressed with their preparedness and attention to detail. They talked about our couple as if they were lifelong friends, which tells me that they make a true effort to get to know each couple past surface level. Are you frustrated with combing through page after page of the same old cliche'd wedding photos? Looking for something classic and timeless but with a bit of an edge? We got you. I've been creating wedding day memories for over a decade now. New Orleans. Chicago. Minneapolis. The PNW. NYC. We travel all over this country, and even internationally, when the right opportunity presents itself, documenting love stories for our amazing couples. Our goal with each new wedding, is not to be just good or “good enough”--the goal is to be world-class, one of the top wedding photography teams in the world. Each couple helps us accomplish this.

J. was fantastic. He was like a ghost in the crowd during the wedding and caught such amazing moments throughout the event. As the bride, there was so much going on and I didn't have to direct J. at all, he just flowed through the preparation, ceremony and party with ease and captured everything. He also had some fabulous ideas for posed pictures post ceremony. From the start I knew he would be great because he contacted me immediately after I sent a request to him and actually PICKED UP THE PHONE to speak in person. Crucial in my book! We were absolutely impressed with his professionalism and the pictures are beyond even "a thousand words". We couldn't be happier. Thank you J. and the Rock n' Roll Wedding Club for capturing a once in a lifetime event that we will treasure forever. I will highly recommend you to anyone I know!

I am a luxury destination photographer based in Michigan, Florida & Colorado! I am ALL over Michigan and all over the nation! I have a home in Lansing and Holland and I travel all over Michigan capturing my clients from Lansing to Grand Rapids to the west coast of Lake Michigan to northern Michigan, Mackinac Island and Traverse City to areas of Detroit! I also have condo access in Clearwater, FL and Breckenridge, CO. This allows me to be local to multiple places and states! This career is so much more than just showing up and taking photos. It's emotion, it's detail, it's getting to know my clients and capturing each of them uniquely.

Dani was phenomenal to work with from the very beginning. Her communication and professionalism are top notch yet she made us feel super comfortable like we're old friends. My now husband & I had never had professional pictures done and we were really nervous for how our wedding photos would turn out naturally because of that and being naturally introverted. Dani got us comfortable at our engagement session and all of our photos from our engagement session to our wedding day turned out so amazing!! HIGHLY recommend to hire Dani!!

Hi, I’m Bridget — but you can call me Bee, cause that’s what my friends call me! And since we’re basically already best friends, let me tell you a secret: taking pictures isn’t even the thing I love most about my job. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m as obsessed with taking gorgeous, dripping-in-light photos that you’ll look back on for ages as much as the next photographer. But what I really love? Meeting the most kind-hearted people and getting to know them on a level much deeper than the typical client-photographer relationship.

When we hired Bridget we couldn’t have imagined a better photographer! From the very first meeting to the engagements photos and everything leading up to the amazing is nothing short of amazing! Bridget has become an instant friend! The shots that she gets and the work she puts into learning you as a couple and the venue is nothing short of spectacular! The photos from the wedding felt like we were reliving the whole thing again!

I'm a farm kid who floats between the journalism and art worlds. I love telling stories as much as I love listening to the stories of others. I’m the type of person who makes up musicals for my own amusement and nurses a soft spot for sci-fi and fantasy. If I’m not taking photos, I’m usually dancing. Or cooking. It’s possible I may have a baking addiction and try to mitigate the damage by forcing the goods on loved ones.

Celia at The Lovely Lens was an absolute GEM!! Our wedding was not the typical / traditional ceremony-- on purpose! Leading up to the big day, Celia kept lines of communication open (so helpful for planning) and was 1000% supportive of our special day being so...well, special! She was such a total champ while capturing every moment in the pouring rain. She was fully prepared for the weather & didn't miss one beat! My partner and I instantly felt at ease and loved our time together with her. She encouraged us to be our authentically goofy selves! Her presence was so warm, her energy was delightful, and her work was STUNNING! Seriously, I'm obsessed with the photos! Not only do we have incredible images from this amazing day, but we also have wonderful memories with Celia. She was so friendly and kind us as well as to our family and friends, and immediately jumped on board with our 'potluck bbq at Grandma's house' vibe. By the end of the day she felt like part of the family as we chatted about our furkids and exchanged on where to order some cute socks with their faces on them, haha. If you're looking for an absolute powerhouse of an artist to capture your day in the way that doesn't feel awkward or intrusive, or if you're looking for a photographer with genuinely good vibes and authentic energy, or if you're looking for someone to simply help tell your love story through stunning imagery-- please consider The Lovely Lens of Celia for your special day. 3

Welcome to Dre Photography LLC! Capturing the timeless essence of your love story is our passion! With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, we specialize in creating stunning imagery that tells the unique narrative of your special day. Drawing inspiration from the beauty of love and the magic of weddings, we strive to deliver images that evoke emotion and encapsulate the essence of your relationship. Whether it's an intimate elopement or a grand celebration, we approach each wedding with professionalism, creativity, and a genuine passion for our craft.

I don't even know where to begin with Dre! Choosing your vendors is one of the most stressful tasks leading up to a wedding but let me take some of that pressure of by saying HIRE THIS MAN! Just do it. Before the wedding Dre checked in, asked what our expectations were, ran through what kind of shots we wanted and gave us some great ideas, and helped us with scheduling so we could get every picture we wanted. The day of our wedding he arrived early, introduced himself to everyone, got setup, and went straight to work. Despite never meeting in person, I instantly felt comfortable with him and knew I was in good hands. I really wanted a lot of candid shots throughout the day but was nervous that in order to do so it would require the photographer to be all up in our space and would be a distraction from getting ready and staying on task but Dre is such a professional that he was able to get any and every shot I could've wanted without us even knowing he was snapping away! Come time for the posed photos and Dre was IN CHARGE making sure everyone was where they needed to be and ready to go in order to keep the day moving as planned. The rest of the night went just as perfectly as it had started and when we got our pictures back we were just blown away at how he was able to capture every single person (187 of them) that was in attendance during the short amount of time that everyone was actually all together. Since our wedding we have stayed in touch and Dre has become more of a friend than just a wedding vendor. I even had a friend from High School reach out to me asking if I would recommend him and any chance I get to talk about our wedding photos or how incredible Dre was is a conversation I am excited to have! Like I said earlier, just do it! You will have less than no regrets!

After working 10+ years in corporate America in NYC, California and traveling the globe, I found myself wanting more than what the traditional career path had set for me. I stumbled into photography while I was on maternity leave with my oldest and started a side hustle that I had no idea was going to turn into a complete career change years later. From the very first wedding I shot, I knew I was onto something. And ever since then, I haven't looked back.

Kim was the perfect photographer for us on our wedding day. She stuck with our time line that we had planned for the whole day, which made it run extremely smooth. She was professional, but was also able to keep the mood light and fun. I would highly recommend kim for any photography needs

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Daniel for not one, but TWO wedding days. Our wedding plans were a bit…unconventional. When we first got engaged, we decided to elope (just the 2 of us) to Ireland. However, due to logistics, we decided it would be best to sign all the legal paperwork before we departed. We also really wanted an opportunity to celebrate with our families and friends upon our return with a larger-scale party–and we wanted both days to be documented with beautiful photos that captured the different vibes of each event. Enter Daniel! We discussed our ideas with Daniel during our first consultation, and he was more than willing to make our vision a reality. He created a custom package to incorporate both days, and was excited to capture two very different events for us. In the months of planning that followed, we were beyond appreciative of his patience, understanding, and flexibility as we navigated the various concepts for what both unconventional wedding days would look like. Before we get to any of that though, we have to talk about our engagement photo shoot. As big fans of professional wrestling, we wanted to somehow incorporate that into the photos. So we contacted Warriors of Wrestling, a local promotion here on Staten Island, and they agreed to let us use their ring for the shoot! This was a first for Daniel, and he was thrilled to have the opportunity to do something different. He made us look like real superstars that day, and the images he captured are some of our all time favorites. A few weeks prior to our “first” wedding day in June of ‘23, Daniel met with us at our home to get an idea of the layout and review the timeline. We then went to Fort Wadsworth park, where the post-ceremony photos would be taken, and scouted out the best locations for photos. By the time the actual day arrived, everything was perfectly planned out, and Daniel’s amazing photos really captured the intimate nature of our living room ceremony with 10 family members looking on. We capped the night off with a trip to Duffy’s Tavern – a local Irish bar – where we got some great photos of us enjoying huge burgers and pints of Guinness! Daniel was by our side the whole time, and he helped make the day so special. Fast forward a few months and it was finally the day of our reception! Our family, friends, and co-workers all gathered at the Nassau Inn in Princeton NJ to celebrate us. Right in the middle of it all, of course, was Daniel, capturing moments in time that we will cherish forever. His photography truly is art, and you can see his passion for this through his lens. The photos that stand out the most from our reception are the shots on the dance floor. We feel that one place Daniel’s talent shines brightest is his ability to tell an entire story in one click of the shutter–and the photos of ourselves and our loved ones having a blast truly encapsulate the feelings we had in those moments. Through it all, we feel Daniel became an honorary family member thanks to his enthusiasm and genuine investment in telling our love story. Our photos are EVERYTHING we were hoping for and more. We cannot recommend Daniel enough.

Hi there! I’m Djaniella (or dj for short). I love storytelling, adventures, and creating connections with people. I’m attracted to a meaningful image, and being able to relive that moment in my mind. A coffee shop and an ice cream parlor is always on my list whenever I visit a new town. I love the sound of waves crashing along the shore, I love people-watching, I love basketball, I love spending time with my family, and I love good food. Thanks for visiting! Let’s work with each other :)

Where do I even begin to express the sheer delight of working with DJ on my wedding day? From the moment we first met, I knew I was in for something special. DJ's exceptional skills as a photographer not only met but exceeded all my expectations, making my wedding day an absolute dream come true! From the very start, DJ's warm and personable nature put everyone at ease. It was like having a girlfriend by our side, capturing every precious moment. As the day unfolded, her talent shined through, beautifully capturing the essence of our emotions and the magic of the occasion. The candid photos DJ captured are my absolute favorite! DJ's ability to handle even the most rambunctious of groomsmen was nothing short of amazing. She effortlessly navigated through the challenges of the day. Even with a group of boys who had indulged in a bit too much, DJ skillfully guided them into perfect poses, resulting in some of the most cherished and candid shots. Throughout the entire process, DJ displayed a level of patience and professionalism that left a lasting impression. She expertly orchestrated the wedding party, ensuring everyone was organized and ready for their moment in front of the camera. The way she managed to capture everyone’s personality while maintaining the cohesiveness of the group shots was truly commendable. There was not one person missed! DJ made sure I had a photo was each family member, which I am extremely grateful for. It felt as though DJ was more than just a photographer; she became an integral part of our wedding day, seamlessly blending in with our friends and family. The rapport she built with us was evident in the photographs! In the end, the pictures surpassed anything I could have imagined. DJ's talent and dedication to her craft have given us a treasure trove of memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. Her ability to create such a relaxed and enjoyable experience on our special day truly made all the difference. I can wholeheartedly say that DJ is not only an incredibly photographer but also a wonderful person, and I would recommend her to anyone seeking a photographer who can turn their wedding day into an absolute masterpiece! You can see capturing moments is what she LOVES to do!

I'm originally from East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania but I've lived all over the country and have finally landed in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. My personal hobbies include rock climbing, learning French, fine-tuning my espresso skills, and drinking the best wine I can get my hands on (yes, if you're getting married at a winery, I'm interested!). I've been photographing weddings since 2009 (that's 15 years!) and I'm still not even the least bit bored. Hell, I still cry at weddings on a regular basis. Staying emotional and in the moment is what allows me to capture the moments that matter most to my couples.

Choosing Rima as our wedding photographer was one of the easiest and best decisions we made. She is exceptionally professional and proficient, while still being kind and calming. She knows exactly how to get shots that work, without making you feel like you're posing uncomfortably or being micromanaged. For both our engagement session and our wedding day, it felt like Rima was able to capture a perfect mix of "candids" where she just lets you play around and do what is natural, and posed photos. Also, on our wedding day both her and Fernando were such calming presences that we felt at ease, were able to laugh, and we knew we wouldn't be overwhelmed having the focus on us all day. She was also ridiculously prompt when communicating and delivered our photos so quickly!! We cannot recommend her enough!

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Beet & Blossom.  Cassie & Alex are true professionals. They were highly organized, communicative, and accommodating every step of the way. In the chaos of wedding planning, it was wonderful that we never had to worry about our photos - we just knew we were in such capable hands from the day we signed the agreement.  On the day of our wedding, Cassie and Alex were incredible. They were calm, confident and efficiently wrangled all family and friends for formal photos, and kept our timeline on track. They made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, and it shows in the photos! We continue to marvel at our gallery, and how insanely talented Cassie & Alex are. The photos are gorgeous, and capture the true feeling of our wedding day. Some of our favorite photos are the "in-between" moments they got of our loved ones celebrating together. They are so special, and we are so grateful to have those memories captured.  Highly recommend booking the Beet & Blossom team for your wedding -we are so happy we did :)

One of the most important aspects of a photo is the emotion it conveys. While I have years of training and experience, photographing love cannot be reduced to lighting and angles. Well before your special day. I hear my client's love story. This helps me create eye-catching images that portray the kind of affection that is unique to each couple. I pride myself in being a storyteller-photographer.

Anj did our surprise proposal, engagement shoot, and wedding and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out and the experience it was working with her! She had no problem traveling to our destinations (nyc and Boston area) and was on time and professional. She was wonderful working with special requests to craft a perfect experience. You can tell she really enjoys her job which made it really fun for us and allowed us to soak up some of our biggest moments. I highly recommend working with her as she will make you feel comfortable, craft your event to your liking, and execute the product beautifully!

Hanel, the studio manager, really helped structure our day's timeline and he was integral for helping everything run smoothly. Mike, our main photographer, was so masterful with his lighting and he really went above and beyond for our engagement photoshoot and wedding day as well! The staff had the mindset of prioritizing our needs as the couple first and foremost, which I really appreciated when there are a lot of differing opinions going on leading up to the day. There were so many of our loved ones who saw the photos that commented unprompted to us that our photographers were stellar and my husband and I could not agree more.

We're an LGBT owned company and we are so so so passionate about making sure everyone feels represented in a sometimes white-washed straight appearing industry, we love inclusivity. Our main goal is you having the best stress-free and FUN wedding photo/video experience.

Christian and Emilio worked together seamlessly our entire wedding - they were never obtrusive, always smiling, and seemed to be magically in the right places at the right times. They made our entire crew feel so comfortable, from our families to our guests. Their relaxed, positive, chill vibes set the tone for an amazing day. We also loved our engagement shoot - the photos are so charming and it was a comfortable shoot (despite my now-husband and I being so nervous in front of the camera)!

I started working as a photographer because I'm passionate about helping people showcase who they are and what they have to offer. I work to remove myself from the equation and let my clients take the spotlight. It's thrilling to jump into a session and come out on the other side having learned beautiful new things about a person. When behind the camera I'm coaching you ever step of the way - helping you feel comfortable enough to let your true self emerge.

Michael is such an amazing photographer! When he shot our engagement photos he guided us through the entire thing and did such a wonderful job! Michael made us feel very relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire process. I cant wait to work with him again at our wedding!

I was introduced to the world of photography the same week I was introduced to the world. All thanks to my Dad, who was never without his camera. Because of him, our memories growing up are preserved. Then I got my first camera when I was about 6. I documented everything. Since then, my memories, large and small, are organized on my computer, by year. So I can go back & revisit so many wonderful memories from my life...most which I wouldn't even remember without pictures. I enjoy life, and that’s why people call me the “happiest photographer.”

My husband and I got married at the start of the pandemic. Who would’ve thought that not long after I met the man of my dreams the world would be turned on its head! But there we were, starting a new life together during an uncertain time. Our wedding plans went through many changes as you would imagine. But Nicole was understanding, and did her best to work with our requests. She seemed to be just as excited about our plans as we were. My husband and I both agreed that she was easy to reach, and she was always very pleasant whenever we did so. She actually showed up to my wedding before I did! I would positively recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for a special event. I’m very pleased with how the pictures came out. I would like to hire her again to do some family photos.

Hi, I’m Andrea! a Latina wedding film photographer based in NJ/NYC. With 7 years in portrait photography and 2 years dedicated to weddings, I’m passionate about capturing love stories. Weddings inspire me as they are unique moments where communities unite in pure joy and love. Being part of the LGBTQI+ community, I ensure my space is safe and welcoming for all marriers. When not behind the camera, I love traveling back home, crocheting, taking care of my chosen family, and creating in my photo lab! Each moment I capture is a testament to my love for love. Andrea has a knack for adapting to any situation that comes up at a photography event. The things I noticed most are a keen sense of what needs to be done and how it should be approached. This is a very collaborative team oriented person who will always be in the right place when you need them. Andrea is also very decisive and does not hesitate or over-complicate things. I found Andrea to be kind, open and polite to guests and our clients. I couldn't really ask for more than that. I especially appreciated Andrea's work with the TLR camera.

I'm in love with human emotions, either it's laughing till it hurts or tears of happiness. When your man hugs you so strong, that you can't breathe or when your dad is crying (for the first time in his life!) listening to your vows at the altar. I do believe, that these un-staged moments are more meaningful than classy portraits on a sunset (but no worries, you'll plenty of both!) If you feel like we are on the same page - let's talk! Write me a few words about who you are, tell me your story and let's create something beautiful together!

Hi, My name is Hiba. I am a "people's" photographer. It didn't take me too long to realize how much I enjoy working with people, talking and having a laugh together while we make the best out of the moment; while I capture your moments. I don't usually miss a chance to talk about my cat Anola but I would briefly say that she is the best thing that happened in my life. Our family of three lives happily in a cozy house in the NY/NJ area.

I've had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember; I used it like a pocket journal of sorts and photographed constantly while growing up in Hawai'i. I fell into weddings when my dad remarried in 2013, and I remember being caught off guard by the swirl of emotions I felt standing at the edge of a new beginning. Turning those feelings into tangible memories was the only thing that made sense. I moved to New York City to refine my skillset and took a detour into the fashion industry before receiving my Bachelor's in photography from NYU.

We reached out to Natalie to be our wedding photographer because her portfolio was beautiful and colorful! From the moment we met Natalie, we felt a connection to her. When we had a vendor hiccup in the planning process, they were supportive and suggested alternatives - demonstrating their thoughtfulness and kindness. On the wedding day, her professional expertise shone through. They were organized, attentive, and seamlessly blended into the background, capturing moments without being intrusive. Her calming presence and ability to anticipate important shots made us feel completely at ease, allowing us to fully enjoy our day. Natalie’s talent for capturing genuine emotions and the smallest details was really evident in our wedding gallery. They managed to capture the essence of the celebration, the editing also felt like it was done with warmth and a lot of care. We wholeheartedly recommend her, you won’t regret it!
