Our goal is to provide a million dollar outside wedding site at an affordable price AND treat every bride like she is our own daughter. In the 1950’s thru the mid 1970’s the site was known as Motts Run Landing, which provided access to the Rappahannock River for families, boaters and fishermen by day and a local lovers lane by night. In 1979 Gene & Linda Clore purchased this 2 ½ acre slice of heaven and dedicated their lives to the fun and pleasure of those who wished to enjoy the Rappahannock and Rapidan rivers by canoe. Because of it’s natural beauty a friend of the family, in 1993, requested to have their wedding overlooking the river. Thus was the inception of Riverside Weddings. After a few years of one or two weddings per year with family and friends (and friends telling friends about our enchanting spot to get married) it was obvious that we had become “Riverside Weddings by Clore”

Lovingston Winery is a weekend wedding venue that prioritizes slowing down and enjoying time with those that you love. With all of our packages we include 2 nights at our historic 1906 farmhouse and charming log cabin. These spaces allow for up to 16 guests to stay on property with you throughout the weekend. In addition, there are sweeping views of mountains, vineyards, pastures, and pond that can be viewed from our ceremony sites. The Space Downtown was created in late 2010 by owners of chefs Tim Burgess and Vincent Derquenne. The two have been partners since 1991, creating their first restaurant Metropolitain which operated in the same location as Space. It closed in 2003 and the chef pair sold the restaurant but remained owners of the building. In early 2010, the location became vacant and the two decided to open for private parties only. In addition to the Space Downtown, the pair operate Bizou and Bang restaurants, all three close in vicinity to one another.
