Our vision for FireFly began 13 years ago and we searched all around our hometown area for a barn to fit our vision. This turned out to be IT: a beautiful dairy barn built in the 1940's! We've kept its rustic and authentic vibe alive and added a lot of flair. It's a happy place to be!

We were married at the FireFly Event Barn October 2022. When we were looking at our options and visited the barn, I was absolutely blown away! Not only by the beauty of the barn but how we felt like we had known Lindsey forever. She made us feel like we were family and we knew this was the place! Leading up to the event she was so easy to work with, always responding right away, letting vendors come and see the venue and ask questions before our big day, always so positive and uplifting making us so much more excited for our day to come. During set up she took the time to get to know who was who and helped us any way we needed! On the day she helped us make sure everything went smoothly and flawless! We still get compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how Lindsey and her staff made everyone feel so welcome!

Run, don’t walk! Working with the Bluebelle team made the wedding planning process seamless. We had our ceremony and reception at the Bluebelle and it was everything we ever dreamed of. Our guests also appreciated having everything be at one venue. We had a fall wedding and the ceremony site was breathtaking. Plenty of space for the bridal crew and great acoustics for the pastor and singers. The outdoor patio space is covered with an outdoor bar and we had a social hour snacks available for guests. They aways have yard games available to keep guests entertained. The reception area is so grand and plenty of space for dinner and dancing. Jaimee and Tracy made sure everything was decorated the way we wanted and it felt truly magical in the reception area. The entire staff made our whole wedding party and guest list feel right at home. They also have a bus to rent out to get guests back to the local hotels safe and sound. Our wedding experience was so seamless, I highly recommend the Bluebelle for all your event planning needs. You will be treated like family. And the venue itself is stunning. All of our pictures turned out so good because we used one of the Bluebelle’s recommended photographers and because the venue and grounds make for a beautiful canvas for photos! I just have to say…my husband and I were very blessed to have the most magical wedding and it was mainly because of Marlys and Kurt, owners of Adler Ranch. I have seen so many reviews of “I wish our wedding venue would have told us (fill in the blank here)before we booked” there was none of that with Adler Ranch. They were very up front with what we could and couldn’t expect. Honestly Marlys goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best day. Now let’s talk about the venue. We seriously still have guests saying that was the most memorable wedding they have ever been too because the venue is so unique and one of a kind! I was so worried about not having a Photo Booth at my wedding and even my wedding planner told me “seriously I know it’s my job to upsell you on this but you don’t need it with all the natural backdrops at Adler Ranch” I seriously miss my wedding planning because it was so fun to work with Marlys and Adler Ranch. I 100% recommend having your wedding or event here you will not regret it!

We arranged our son and daughter in law's rehearsal dinner at Blackwoods and I cannot say enough about what a positive experience it was. The room was spacious (we had close to 51 people) and the staff was kind, professional and available to help with anything we needed. We had a buffet style dinner and our guests commented on the prime rib, saying it was "the best they ever had." Blackwoods staff made the start of our wedding weekend such an enjoyable experience. They easily accommodated us with our "slide show" presentation of the bride and groom and our musical guest which we brought in for dinner music. I would highly recommend them and thank them for the great experience.

The Radisson Blu Fargo was amazing to work with for our wedding reception! We ended up moving our wedding date due to Covid and they were extremely accommodating for not only us but for our guests and their rooms as well. As we got closer to the day, their communication was very kind, clear, responsive, and detailed, making our reception go very smoothly. All possible planning details were considered and they did everything they could to make our day very special! On the day of our reception, the wedding coordinator made herself very available, made sure we had everything we needed, and made sure everything was going according to plan. Overall, the food, venue, and staff exceeded our expectations! We would highly recommend the Radisson Blu Fargo to anyone considering using their space for any event in the future!

Kathy's Kitchen specializes in cooking from scratch and we enjoy the chance to customize to fit a price point or a favorite meal or side dish. The Braham Event Center is located one hour north of Minneapolis and St. Paul, just off Highway 65 on the outskirts of Braham, Minnesota, minutes away from Pine City, Rush City, Mora, and Cambridge, and is conveniently located between Duluth and the Twin Cities.

The Braham Event Center was the perfect venue for our wedding. The communication with the staff leading up to the big day was fast, attentive, and respectful. They were able to accommodate some last minute changes we needed, which helped make our special day run smoothly. The banquet hall itself is absolutely beautiful - it's large and spacious with a blank canvas so you can bring your own decor in any style or color to make the venue unique. For the quality and beauty of the venue, we felt it was very fairly priced. The staff the day-of were equally amazing and attentive. I would highly recommend the Braham Event Center to any couple looking for a beautiful and accommodating wedding venue with great staff.
