After working as a cake decorator and bakery employee for 30+ years, Marianne assumed ownership of Tartan Rose Bakery in October of 2022. She changed the name of the bakery in 2024 to Tartan Rose Bakery to honor her English-Scottish heritage and beloved father. She is passionate about making high-quality, locally-sourced (whenever possible), fresh, and delicious treats that are tailor-made for you! ​All of the packaging is biodegradable to minimize humanity’s negative impact on our precious and irreplaceable environment.

We began as a concession company providing cotton candy at sporting events. In the fall of 2021, we extended our brand by starting our own manufacturing plant. Sweet Buckets was born as an option for customers and businesses to purchase Cotton Candy and Gourmet popcorns direct from our company.

Kate’s Poperella specializes in hand designed cake pops and cake balls. Cupcakes are also a new addition to our 2022 menu. Stand rentals are also available to rent for cake pops, cake balls and or cupcakes. Cake balls (no stick) start at $30 per dozen and cake pops start at $36 per dozen and go up depending on the design. Cupcakes start at $48 per dozen. All products are sold by the dozen. Cake pops & cake balls- One flavor per dozen ordered. Classic flavors are included and specialty flavors are an additional $6 per flavor (per 2 dozen) added to your order total. Hot cocoa dippers are also available and make great wedding favors.
