What dietary accommodations are available?

We offer gluten-friendly and limited vegan cookies, bars, and cakes. We work out of a shared commercial kitchen and also work with ingredients that contain eggs, gluten, soy, dairy, nuts, and other allergens, so none of our items are certified gluten-free or allergen free and are thus not safe for anyone who is highly sensitive to these and other ingredients (especially gluten, as this remains on all tools, equipment, and surfaces despite stringent cleaning procedures).

Does your price include tastings?

We offer one complimentary box of whatever we're baking the week you'd like to come and pick up a box, which includes up to four flavors, as well as two fillings and frosting flavors for cake samples. If you'd like to request specific items, each box is $40.00.

Are you licensed by the state health department?

Yes, and our results are posted on the North Dakota Food and Department website twice a year.

What special cake items are included?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any stands, platters, display items, or flavor cards.

Does your price include delivery?

Delivery and set up pricing is set at $40 for venues and locations within the city limits of Fargo-Moorhead, and $2.50 a mile one way from our commercial kitchen near downtown Fargo.

How do I know what size to order?

I am more than happy to help with this! I will ask you a series of questions about anticipated guest count, if you're serving a cake, or if you're serving a variety of desserts, or both. I then write up a rough estimate for you based on this information, but keep in mind that I am more than happy to suggest alternatives to fit within your budget!

Do you offer custom designs?

Yes, I do! We can sit down and discuss your theme and colors, or discuss this information via email. I will then send a basic (not highly detailed) design to discuss and modify. The more changes that are made, we can then discuss any fees that will arise due to the amount of time involved.

Question 8

Do you offer cake alternatives?

Accepted Answer

Yes! I also offer dessert tables instead of the 'traditional' cake, which can include any combination of various cookies, bars, cheesecakes, pastries like tartlets or pies (both mini and 9"), cupcakes, and cake bites (like cake pops without the stick).
