Laura has a conviction. That is: that wedding photography be about exceptional imagery, period. ​I began photography in early 2015 by offering a few free sessions. Soon my business grew and I was booking numerous family and children photography sessions each month. In the summer of 2015 I began photographing weddings by offering to photograph a wedding for free and now I have seen my business grow from a few weddings a year to being fully booked with weddings nearly every weekend! In 2019 I decided to turn something I was passionate about into my full-time job. Many of my weddings are booked through "word of mouth" from some of my amazing clients! I did not not grow up with a camera in my hand knowing I wanted to be a photographer. I started with photography by photographing Punk/Hardcore bands but eventually stopped photographing those shows because I didn't want my camera gear to get broken by someone stagediving. Being apart of that music scene help me cultivate friendships with people all over the world, and gave me lots of travel opportunities. Those experiences carried over into weddings helping me understand real documentary style moments and being comfortable surrounded by new people.

I started in photography much as everyone else did. What was once a hobby in 2002 quickly became a passion. I started out with a 35mm film set up and would hang out in the city capturing candid moments of people going about their day to day lives. For me, it was like stepping outside the world around me and documenting it like looking through a window into a world I was no longer part of. In 2008, when I myself got married, I realized that a wedding day is one of the most emotional moments for a couple. Not only for them but for the families involved as well! It was Oct. 31st, 2008 when I shot my first wedding. I haven't looked back since.
