The Adirondacks is my home. I provide a business that specializes in the capture and curation of precious wedding photo galleries. I am an easy-going individual who is head-over-heels about love and all-things nuptial. I strive to create a relaxed working environment where my clients feel comfortable in front of the camera.

My images will never be a trend and will be timeless for years and years. I want my clients to be able to look back on their images in 10 years and remember such an amazing day in their life. I don't want them to think their images are out of style or outdated. Additionally, I help my clients with anything imaginable from bringing coffee, Tylenol, a first aid kid, helping fluff dresses, fixing flowers, and so much more.

    Nichole was absolutely amazing to work with! We had our engagement shoot with her last summer and she went above and beyond. We are so happy with how our photos came out. We got married this October and again, Nichole was a dream to work with. She showed up with my favorite Starbucks coffee. I was so touched by this gesture. From the moment she arrived, she kept me calm and directed my husband and bridal party on where to go. She was so organized that we were ahead of schedule and had even more time for photos. She was also so kind to everyone and my family and friends adored her. The morning after my wedding, we were sent sneak peeks and my husband and I love them! They're beautiful and we cannot wait to see the rest. I highly recommend Photography by Strain!

    Nicole was super easy to work with and was happy to work with our short timeline. She provided great planning resources and had such an attentive and caring demeanor through our entire event, when while pregnant! Her second shooter was awesome as well!     My name’s Danté! A NY photographer/videographer. For the past 2 years I’ve worked with Strain on multiple occasions as her second shooter, and I’ll tell you, it’s been a blast! At first I was nervous to work along another shooter other then my friend. Her and I did not know each other and she’s been at this business far longer then I have so it was definitely intimidating at first. But after the first hour shooting under her I knew it was a good fit to work with her as her second.
