What’s the best way to make history? It is to host your wedding or event at Fort Ticonderoga — of course! Located in Ticonderoga, NY on the shores of Lake Champlain, just north of Lake George, between the Adirondacks and Vermont’s Green Mountains, these 2,000 acres of land are rich with history and unique places to hold weddings, social gatherings, or corporate events.

The Pavilion

A historic home turned hotel, the Pavilion has a rich past of hospitality and luxury.

Located on the shores of Lake Champlain and surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens this estate is now Fort Ticonderoga’s premier location for weddings. The building itself is also a great place to host small meetings, intimate gatherings, and cocktail parties. Available for rental May-October, with year-round availability for smaller groups

The Mars Education Center

Modern aesthetics with a timeless charm.

A modern venue disguised as a Fort, the Mars Education Center is ideal for conferences or romantic dimly lit receptions. An elegant stairway descends to the Great Room, which is located underneath the historic Fort. Available for rental all year round.

The Carillon

Set sail on Lake Champlain aboard the Carillon!

Excellent for hosting small ceremonies and cocktail parties. Available for rental May-October. Food and beverage stations are available upon request. Sails rain or shine, however, trips may be canceled or rescheduled in the event of high winds or thunderstorms.

Fort Ticonderoga

Whether on the top of the bastions or on the parade ground this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to host your cocktail party or ceremony within the Fort walls. Meant to be a unique addition to your reception or dinner this location does not lend itself to stand-alone events because the site cannot be tented.

Mount Defiance

Ascend to great heights.

The mountaintop is a great location to host your casual reception, cocktail party, or ceremony overlooking Fort Ticonderoga. Available for rental May-October. The small access road is not accessible to large trucks, buses, or trailers.
