About this venue
The Whitehall Armory was originally built in 1899 to repel attacks from the English if they were to return to New York by way of Lake Champlain. Recently remodeled in 2023, it is furnished with fine antiques and many rare and beautiful works of art. The bridal sweet is 2000 square feet and is simply stunning. The Grand Hall is 12,000 square feet with 35 foot ceilings of solid woods and structural steel. Located in the Village of Whitehall New York, this castle is located in the birthplace of the United States Navy. There is as much history in this venue as there is beauty and warmth. Come be Kings and Queens at your own wedding! *Use your caterer or ours. *Flexible hours for setup and clean up. *Our commercial kitchen is spotless. *We adore the LGBTQ community. *Some lodging available. There are too many hotels within easy driving distance to list. *37K Square Feet. *6 million BTU of heating, winter events are cozy. *Onsite parking for over 100 vehicles.

The Grand Hall
This authentic historic Castle is the most memorable, beautiful and breathtaking Castle venue in the entire USA.
This is a real castle. It was commissioned by the State of New York, designed by the famous English Castle Architect Isaac Perry and was built by the US Government. Pictures just do not do it justice. The space is so expansive, yet cozy and warm, the backdrop possibilities for your photographer to recreate your event will be almost limitless. The use of oak, structural steel and massive stones will take you back in time.
