We have nothing but positive things to say about our wedding at the Lippincott! Owners Marty and Tricia are a wonderful couple who are so easy to work with. It is clear that they do this because they are genuinely passionate about it and enjoy it. They were very attentive and clear about everything which made the planning a breeze and put us both at ease. Any requests or questions we had were met and answered with no problems. They run this venue like a well oiled machine. The day went so smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Tricia made sure we ate and were enjoying ourselves throughout the whole day. Many of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. Not only did they compliment the food, but our guests really loved the venue. The Lippincott is so beautifully decorated and the grounds are gorgeous. We really only had to provide our floral centerpieces and whatever extra decorations we wanted. They provided the tablecloths, runners, napkins, and lots of decorations. Best of all this venue is so affordable. The all inclusive packages were a great option and saved us so much time in looking for vendors. You cannot beat the value and price of this venue. Booking with The Wedding Foundry at Liberty View Farm is the best thing my husband and I have ever done. We were looking to have a small intimate wedding, but every venue tour we did still had a 75-100 person minimum and required a large cost requirement for catering. Then I happened upon The Wedding Foundry when researching micro weddings. We had one phone call with Billiam and immediately signed the contract, without even viewing the venue first. As a bride, the fact that they were including the venue, the officiant, photography, florals and catering was the best thing ever. It took so much stress off of me while planning this wedding, as I did not have to run around to different vendors. Billiam and Erica were extremely communicative and really took the time to learn what we were looking for. Day of, Billiam and his day of coordinator Cathy made sure the day ran perfectly. We were absolutely blown away from how beautiful our venue was. The florals they created made our wedding look like a fairy tale. Our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. Erica was an absolute pro with photography, really taking her time with my husband and I for our portraits. Throughout the night she made sure to capture every moment. Erica sent teasers to us within a week of our wedding and the photos are beautiful. The officiant, Michele, was amazing. She created the most personalized and beautiful ceremony that fit us perfectly. We loved how she included a hand-fasting ceremony as well. Multiple guests approached us to let us know that there was not a single dry eye during our ceremony. The Wedding Foundry truly created our perfect day. We are so happy with our intimate wedding, we had 46 of our closest friends and family and everyone truly enjoyed the day. We fell in love with this venue the moment we drove up the road. My husband and I grew up in NJ, live in Brooklyn, and were looking for a venue that felt like a nature retreat while still being accessible for our friends and family. Milford is a great town just down the road and the hotels are so close too. Linnea and Alec were so communicative and helpful with the endless lists of questions we sent them. We cannot thank them enough for setting the stage for the weekend - and I'm just so impressed with how seamless and easy it felt to use their venue. We were struck just by the beauty of the whole property. It's absolutely marvelous! We were surrounded by charming little bunnies and butterflies the whole weekend. We took advantage of the place for the whole weekend - a Friday night pizza truck party, multiple pool and hot tub hangouts, and a Sunday bagel brunch in the barn. Everybody was raving about the barn, farmhouse, and cottage. The sunset during the reception created a great atmosphere for our guests to congregate and enjoy the lawn. We felt right at home and it made our wedding so incredibly special.

The Fox and Bear Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding. Janice, who runs the inn, was an absolute delight and took wonderful care of us and our guests all weekend, with her incredible breakfasts being a standout. Jenn, the day-of coordinator, was equally amazing—organized, attentive, and ensured everything went smoothly, allowing us to enjoy our day stress-free. For context, we had 65 people at our wedding total, including us and two children. This felt like the perfect size for our group, especially given the necessity of the tent due to chilly October nights. The lodge itself is charming, with great rooms and fantastic amenities. Despite its location at the corner of two streets, we barely noticed any traffic. While nearby lodging options are limited, most of our guests were satisfied with the Quality Inn just 10 minutes away. The venue struck a perfect balance between outdoorsy and chic, offering more flexibility than other venues. Though there were some additional but reasonable fees, it was wonderful to have our rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and brunch all at the lodge, making it the ideal fit for our special day. We are so thankful that we decided to stay over an extra night, without any of our guests, to get to truly enjoy the lodge a bit more before checking out. We cancelled our big wedding due to covid and we were planning to just show up at a local lake and have our wedding ceremony... that is until we saw Rokeby! Marina was very responsive and walked us around the property, which is absolutely exquisite. The grounds have several perfect ceremony locations (in front of the garden, mountain view, on the porch, in front of a very old beautiful tree) and Marina had the ceremony space set up exactly how we had asked. The experience was seamless and our guests continue to talk about how wonderful the estate is. Highly, highly recommend!

We were so lucky to celebrate our wedding at A Private Estate, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. When we were searching for a venue, we visited A Private Estate in the depth of winter during a snowstorm, but even then, we immediately knew it was the perfect place for us. Ripley, the owner, was friendly and direct, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making sure people had an amazing experience. The property was beautifully maintained, and the convenience of having the Carriage House accommodation along with the barn for the reception made it a much better value than most other venues we considered. We chose to have our ceremony outside, overlooking the Hudson River, which created a breathtaking and peaceful setting for our vows. The manor house made for a stunning backdrop for our family photos, adding a touch of elegance to the day. We held our reception in the barn, which we highly recommend to other couples. The rustic charm of the space, combined with the elegance of the estate, created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our mid-August wedding was made even more memorable by the beauty and ambiance of the setting. The property manager, Jack, went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Not only did he assist us with practical matters, like putting up blinds in the Carriage House to help our family members' kids sleep, but he also saved the day when a special bottle of wine we had intended to keep was accidentally thrown out by the caterers. Jack took it upon himself to dig it up and return it to us—an act of kindness we won’t forget. We are incredibly grateful for the hospitality and attention to detail from both Jack and Ripley. The Hudson Milliner was a fantastic venue for our wedding. It’s a beautiful space with tons of character and charm. There is genuinely moving art everywhere and great natural light which you will want for beautiful photos. Charlotta and Shannon were extremely helpful and welcoming. They answered all of our questions and gave us the lay of the land in Hudson. We had our wedding brunch at a very nice French restaurant on their suggestion. I would 100% do it all again with The Hudson Milliner and suggest you do too.

Venue is always clean, and has many amnemdies some venues do not, including bathrooms, potable running water, tables and chairs, heat and air-conditioning. The space has many layout options and flows well. Blanche and Danni are a pleasure to work with and really care about each event being a day to remember. They supply an excellent list of vendors, who are easy to work with and are all local pro's. We also buy ingredients for our events both meat and vegetables. They have an amazing group of farmers. Certified organic and bio dynamic. Everything they do is to the best standard.

The Basilica is a one-of-a-kind space. If you are trying to avoid having a cookie-cutter wedding, this is the place for you. The staff has seen this venue set up in MANY different ways and can make anything you imagine come to life. I was really worried about being able to turn a blank space into my dream night but they made it happen easily. I'll never forget the feeling of seeing it all set up for the first time. The best part is that there are zero time restrictions on the space. Which for us, meant an after-party until 3am :)

As a wedding photographer I have been to an incredible number of venues and Locust Hill Barn is a complete stand out. The barn is a bright airy space, with beautiful grounds. Everything you need is right there with little effort. You have a ceremony site, woodlands, farmland, pond, and space outside for guests to roam around. The cocktail hour outside is beautiful, I especially love the lounge area under the tree shade. It also helps that this barn can house large weddings. I would highly recommend!

Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! We got married over a month ago and have been putting off writing this review, because it means that our time working with Kerri has really come to an end. Booking Fortune Valley Manor for our wedding venue was without a doubt, the best decision we made for our wedding. FVM was the third wedding venue we toured, and from the minute we sat down in Kerri’s office, before we even saw the grounds, we knew we wanted to get married there. Kerri is warm, friendly and so hospitable (as evidenced by the delicious snacks and seasonal sangria she serves at every meeting), and as a wedding planner, could not be more on top of every single detail that goes into making your wedding day perfect. We were blown away by her at our first meeting; how thoughtful, organized and intentional she is towards each aspect of the wedding planning process. And she remained that way through the entire planning process. Our monthly meetings kept us on track (usually ahead of schedule!), and Kerri was so careful to check in about every detail and made sure we were completing all of our “homework assignments”, so wedding planning could actually be enjoyable! We felt that she truly cared about us as individuals and a couple, and took the time to learn who we are, so she could help plan the day that was right for us. She was easy to communicate with, helped talk us through every question we had and really took to heart everything we wanted in our day. In Kerri, we truly felt like we were planning our wedding with a close friend by our side. We could not imagine doing this process without her! Kerri make sure she surrounds herself with the best staff. All of her recommended vendors were amazing to work with. And the venue staff and shuttle drivers were friendly, helpful and so professional. They all made sure our day went off without a hitch! The grounds themselves are stunning. We knew we wanted to get married at a barn in the Hudson Valley, and Fortune Valley ticked every box. Frank does an impeccable job making sure the grounds and barn always look in the best shape possible. The barn easily accommodated our 200 guests, and enabled us to have the perfect mix of indoor/outdoor space that we wanted for our wedding. Guests were able to dance as much as they wanted inside, and then step outside for some fresh air when needed. And our guests loved being able to interact with the horses out front! The food was outstanding and Chef Charlie was so easy to work with and accommodated our need for a vegetarian/pescetarian wedding. We loved being able to go up to the venue for a tasting day, and actually got to try our menu in advance and tweak as needed. We received so many compliments on the food. Kerri was able to help us source specialty beer and alcohol, some of which was used to craft our signature cocktails – which were also outstanding. I could go on and on about this venue and this team. If you are lucky enough to have your desired date available at FVM, book it immediately! Kerri, Frank and the entire FVM Team made our day so smooth, magical and memorable. Our guests can’t believe we found this hidden gem. I wish we could get married again just to book Fortune Valley Manor!

Black Walnut Farm is an unbelievable venue that far exceeded our expectations for our wedding. Beyond the incredible property, the owners are excellent to work with from your first tour to even after your event. To start, the barn and the surrounding grounds look incredible and are so beautifully manicured. So many of our guests complimented the venue. The staff also blended very seamlessly with our caterer. We used Bridge Creek Catering, who were unbelievably on top of it, and between the venue and the caterers there wasn’t a single hiccup. Sarah’s day-of coordination definitely tied everything together and gave us a ton of confidence that event would run smoothly. We rented a tent for our reception and had it placed on the main lawn. The scene behind us, wild grass and a line of trees, is absolutely stunning in our photos. And the ceremony space in the woods is honestly magical. The farmhouse on the property, where the wedding party can stay for the duration of their weekend, is so comfortable and classic. The MASSIVE fireplace in the parlor is so amazing. And who doesn’t love a hot tub? We can’t say enough good things about Black Walnut.

We first heard about the Wire Event Center through a photographer on Facebook while the venue/hotel was still under construction. We fell in love at first site and are glad we went with it! The views are amazing, and with James Newbury attached, the location is highly convenient. The venue itself easily checked all our boxes while looking for the perfect location for a wedding. Isolated, but not far from an airport, scenic for spectacular wedding photos, accessible for those requiring wheelchairs, and walkable distances to other restaurants for rehearsal dinners, welcome drinks, and after parties. Inside the venue itself easily accommodated 100 guests, dance floor, DJ setup, photo booth, and more. We did cocktail hour in the Atrium which offers an awe inspiring view on a beautiful day with areas both inside and outside. The real star behind the venue was the assistance from Holly Harman. Leading up to the event, Holly was able to help organize, set up, and answer a multitude of questions both regarding venue or reaching out to vendors. Holly was an amazing contact before, during, and after the wedding to the point that we begged her (after work hours) to join us at our after party. Throughout the wedding day, she was able to help coordinate transitions between events, assist with last second adjustments, and even take care of our rambunctious pupper, Asher. It was originally supposed to rain on our wedding day, however she took care of that, too :) The communication was exceptional, and we could not have asked for someone better to work with. I will admit, we had a rowdy bunch at times requiring some firm language to move from reception after party after-after party (shout out to Ravish Liquors), but for our family, that's what is needed. If we could go back, we would choose this location again and again, 100%! Thank you tremendously to Holly and the rest of the Wire Event Center staff for the best day of our lives!

The Ryan Family Farm is a PERFECT place for rustic barn style weddings. The venue boasts so many beautiful features that allow for amazing photo opportunities and having a great time. The Barn itself is amazing with lots of nooks and crannies for privacy but also spacious enough to allow guests to feel comfortable. The Lake makes for a beautiful backdrop for ceremony or photos. It is a very pressure free experience from start to finish. The team there is a pleasure to work with and if there is a service they don't provide they are quick to reccomend someone who can which makes for a very stress free experience!

As a wedding caterer who travels a lot to many venues, I can say, this place has it all. From first contact to ease of operations before, during and after the festivities. We rarely see a venue that has thought out every aspect of an event so carefully. They have it all! It is also the most beautiful and enchanted place I have ever seen in my life. A true waterfall paradise. 10/10 This is the best venue in my opinion.

We had our wedding at Kindred Creeks at the beginning of May 2022. I have so many great things to say about this place! First off, Jill was extraordinary, caring, attentive and so helpful from start to finish. She was able to work within our budget while keeping our dream wedding a reality. She had rain plans, sunny day plans, plans for more or less people and was thorough throughout. Her father, Gerry, who lives in the farm came out the day before and day of the wedding to make sure we were taken care of and that anything we needed would be done. And the tent staff was kind, courteous and officiant! The grounds itself were gorgeous! We were the first to use the airstream bridal suite which got so many compliments and great photos. They also redid the bridge across the creek for the wedding party to walk over during the ceremony. I fell in love with the green barn and even though it needs to come down soon, they held off construction so we could take pictures in front of it. We got married right where the two creeks meet which was so beautiful. All our guest had nothing be great things to say and we are beyond happy with the experience. If you are thinking of taking a tour of the farm, don’t hesitate! You will fall in love just like we did!

We couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue than The Winvian Farm for our wedding. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the serene beauty and elegant charm of the property. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect, making our special day truly unforgettable. Even in late October the landscape of the mountains in the distance were breathtaking; our guests are still talking about how mesmerizing the views were. What makes our wedding story even more special is that we chose The Ruins before it was even finished. It was a leap of faith based on the vision and promises from Carol, the owner. When we did our initial tour, the venue was still in its beginning stages of completion; even then we were captivated by the potential and the unique charm it promised. What sealed the deal for us, however, was Carol's infectious enthusiasm, passion, and stylistic eye. Her vision and commitment assured us that the venue would be the perfect location for our special day, and it absolutely was! Being part of the journey from the early stages allowed us to witness the Ruins’ transformation, and it added an extra layer of excitement to our wedding planning. Despite the venue's newness and the inevitable growing pains, Carol, Lara (the on site coordinator), Jerome (Carol’s partner in life and business), and the rest of the team made sure our decision to trust them from the beginning was more than worthwhile. Once the time came for our wedding weekend, Buttermilk Falls exceeded our expectations. Our families loved our welcome event with freshly made pizza and the best charcuterie. The kids in our family loved exploring the grounds and seeing all the animals. Our wedding day was magical despite it raining precisely during our outdoor ceremony, and the barn was the perfect spot for our group of 75 to eat, drink, and dance the night away! THE FOOD AT BUTTERMILK FALLS IS ALSO PHENOMENAL. Truly cannot be said enough. The ingredients are fresh, the menus are thoughtful and the staff is incredible. My wedding experience at Birch Hill was incredible, and I owe so much of that to Serena and her amazing team! We started the booking process in early March, hoping for a September/October wedding date, and thankfully found one that worked. Serena was an absolute goddess from start to finish—she gave us a thorough tour of all the location options, answered every question, and made the entire process feel effortless. We knew almost immediately that no other venue would compare! Since we were on a tight timeline, I reached out to Serena frequently with questions, and she always responded promptly and thoroughly. By our 90-day planning meeting, we were already so comfortable with everything, and Serena guided us seamlessly through food choices (of which there were so many!) and other details. Her expertise really shone through when I wasn’t sure about certain things; she made it all so simple and stress-free. On the big day, I felt so confident in Serena and her team—it was like everything was taken care of before I could even think about it. I truly felt like I had nothing to worry about and could be fully present in every moment, which made the day even more magical. They thought of every detail, big and small, allowing me to simply enjoy and soak it all in. Speaking of the food—it was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had! We chose the Cocktail Style package and went with a wide range of options, including crispy calamari with lemon-garlic aioli, French onion soup, cider bacon-wrapped chicken, pulled pork wonton bites, and mini grilled cheeses with tomato soup shooters, among others. Every single bite was phenomenal! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the mashed potato bar and pasta station were crowd favorites. Our guests raved about the gourmet French fry station that we had later in the night. While we handpicked the items, I genuinely believe that anything else on their menu would have been just as amazing—the quality and flavors were out of this world. At the end of the night, everything was packed up perfectly and already in my car before I even stopped partying! If I had to give any constructive feedback, it would be about the bridal suite. It was a very warm day for late September, and the air conditioning hadn’t been turned on before we arrived, so the suite was quite hot initially. Other than that, our ceremony by the pond was absolutely beautiful. While the mosquitos and some goose droppings were a minor annoyance, the setting was otherwise perfect and so romantic. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Serena’s commitment and attention to detail made our wedding truly unforgettable!

Full stop, you need to have your wedding at Bad Seed. Not only is it a stunning location with a perfect mix of indoor and outdoor space (get married/take photos in a literal apple orchard, and party it up inside a modern-with-tons-of-charm taproom) but Devin and his team were incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. They answered our questions quickly, and were extremely flexible and helpful the week of our wedding. We were able to bring up boxes earlier in the week, set up the day before our wedding, and had private access to the grounds/taproom on our wedding day. As a queer couple, we also loved that Bad Seed partners with Big Gay Hudson Valley year-round, so we already knew they would be a queer-affirming space and our wedding day was no different. Everyone we spoke to / worked with helped make our wedding a magical experience.

Kirby Hill Farm is a magical experience. By far my most favorite venue to flower and the most gracious hosts to work with. There is a beauty and authenticity about the farm. Surrounded by rolling hills and wide skies this gem has many perfect backdrops for gorgeous photo ops (think majestic horses grazing in the background and beautifully landscaped grounds to meander). The thoughtfully appointed farmhouse is the right size to accommodate most bridal parties and is also a stellar option for hosting intimate rehearsal dinners in front of the fireplace. The club house is loaded with character: warm wood, stone, and the original barn doors. The barn stands in contrast, industrial in feel with soaring ceilings and oversized glass doors that open up to cocktails on the pavilion overlooking the polo field below. I found tons of inspiration for my design vision right at the farm and the team there was flawless in facilitating my execution. If you love BBQ or beautifully prepared delectable food experiences you should definitely check out the farms exclusive caterer Odeens when you visit the site. Overall just sublime!
