The property is located on 60 private acres in picturesque Hudson Valley. Amenities include more than 1,000 square feet of beautiful bridal & groom men’s suites that are perfect for photo ops, game room with air hockey, pinball, card table, in-house gym, library, five full bathrooms, library and more .. all for the wedding couple, family and friends to enjoy during their stay.

Constructed soon after the Great Fire of 1902, The United Bank Building was built to house two banks whose previous buildings had been destroyed, New Milford Savings Bank and the New Milford First National Bank. The two banks immediately organized to rebuild, quickly agreeing in principal to build a joint facility on the site of the New England House, a locally well known tavern and inn located at the corner of Bank and Main Street. For most of its life, the building had been used in some form of a bank, but had been largely under-used in recent decades, and had fallen into disrepair. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and taken over by Village Green Investments in 2015. After 9 months of renovations, the building became 19Main. Throughout renovations, we strived for modern amenities with historic elegance; three vaults remain from the building’s former bank days.

Situated on 310 picturesque acres on Quaker Hill in the center of the Hudson Valley, Akindale offers a backdrop of rolling hills, herds of stunning racehorses, incredible vistas, and a wealth of different locations on the property to suit your special event. Akindale is not a typical wedding venue; but it is an exceptional place for your wedding. Our core mission is to rescue and care for retired Thoroughbred racehorses and we have over 120 on site. We are working farm, not a manufactured showplace. Therein lies our natural beauty. We welcome all types of ceremonies, and respect individual creativity. As a nonprofit, we are able to fund our work with the horses through offering our spaces and as such, your location fee will be completely tax-deductible. Celebrate your big day at a luxurious midcentury modern retreat in the Catskill Mountains with a secret speakeasy inside it. The 4200-square-foot Mod House is an architectural gem built in 1959 by a follower of the renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The open-plan layout and floor-to-ceiling windows connect the spacious interior to the natural world outside. You can tie the knot on the lawn with a lush forested backdrop. After the ceremony, revel with your guests in Love, Velma, an underground speakeasy and dance club within the venue. The speakeasy comes fully equipped with a bar, projector, stage, and lights. Love, Velma is wheelchair accessible and can host up to 100 guests, with parking available for up to 40 cars. Four bedrooms are available if you prefer to stay on-site on the wedding night. A large open kitchen can accommodate caterers.

In 1926, Helen Osborne Storrow was decorating a temporary structure to depict an early American kitchen. An active trustee of the Eastern States Exposition and chairwoman of the Home Department, she dreamed of moving the handicraft exhibit to an actual home on-site – a building with its own kitchen!
