Hi, I’m Katy—a Michigan-based wedding photographer who loves to travel! I’ve been capturing love stories since 2016, blending vibrant, warm, and moody vibes with a mix of documentary, candid, and romantic styles. I’m a goofball at heart, so if you’re worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera, don’t be—we’ll have fun and create photos you’ll love. When I’m not behind the lens, I’m enjoying good food (send me your bar and restaurant recs!), live music, or cheering on the Detroit Red Wings. Let’s connect and tell your story your way!

This is Meininger Media's most popular package since it has full-day coverage, two photographers and the most images delivered. Travel is included in this package (including out of state) *Engagement session for couples outside of Michigan will be assessed a travel fee outside of this package.

BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER
From the moment we decided to go with Katy from Meininger Media LLC, we knew she was the perfect fit. She was so easy to talk with and communicated with us every step of the way, always supporting our ideas and willing to listen. Katy was a joy to have at our wedding, and everybody there loved her. The photos she captured were absolutely stunning - we couldn't imagine our wedding day without her there. The quality of her work and the value she provided was incredible. We are over the moon with how all the photos turned out and will cherish them forever.

Katy is AMAZING! Our photos turned incredible and were everything we dreamed of. Not only that, Katy was such a wonderful part of our day. We had a very small wedding and every person that interacted with her or saw her working was obsessed with her. All I heard the following day was how great she was and how fun she made the day. Where to begin? Finding Katy was truly one of the biggest blessings of our wedding process. It was very important to find a photographer who we felt had, and actively displayed, the ability to photograph in an inclusive, respectful and honest manner. We are an interfaith couple with family and friends who fall everywhere along the social, identity and religious spectrum. Once we found Katy, we were blown away by the love, care and diversity showcased in her portfolio. Upon meeting with her virtually, we were convinced that she was the right person. Katy is kind, understanding and VERY good at what she does. When it comes to the work, Katy was proactive without being pushy and really took to heart what we wanted out of our photos. Over the course of the experience, we were able to develop a real friendship with her because she is that good of a person. The day of the event, Katy was locked in and on top of everything. Prior to our weekend, she had done an amazing job of giving us prep sheets and coordinating as much detail as possible so the big day could just glide. Katy and her second shooter Jen (who was amazing, too!) were professional, fun and didn't miss a moment of the day. Everything from planned photos to impromptu shots felt fun and natural. Getting back the album completely blew past our expectations. Every photo captured exactly what we had discussed with her. So many photographs left us speechless. Katy should be at the top of your list if you want great photos full of love, care, and magic. She is down to earth and was the only photographer we spoke to that didn't make us feel like we were just another gig for them.

Hiring Katy was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. Our pictures are beyond perfect! We love every single one and friends and family still rave about them even years later. She brought so many fun ideas for different poses and made sure that we got every single picture that we had on our list. It really felt like she tailored how she shot to fit us as a couple and our pictures definitely show it! All of our pictures have our personality in them and they are just absolutely beautiful!
