The Crofoot Ballroom

The Crofoot Ballroom is the largest space in the Crofoot complex The room can accommodate up to 300 guests for a seated event and even more for strolling parties. A popular music venue, the Ballroom has a special place in the hearts and minds of Metro Detroit music fans. Direct access to an outdoor patio, balcony, large stage, and basement green room makes this room perfect for ceremonies and receptions alike.

The Pike Room

The Pike Room is an intimate second floor space that can accommodate 250 standing guests and is fully configurable for seated events. This is a terrific room for smaller gatherings or as a break-away room for the Ballroom. Some hosts choose to offer the Pike Room as an additional dance space or themed bar.

The Crofoot Café

The Crofoot Café is a comfortable first floor space with large, floor-to-ceiling windows. In the summer, an outdoor extension can be added to supplement the bright indoor space. The Café can be used as an entrance and/or check-in space for your event, or utilized for coffee service, a specialty whiskey bar, or late night snack lounge. This space can accommodate 75 guests on its own, and when combined with the Ballroom, adds another environment for guest to explore.

The Vernors Room

The Vernors Room is an outstanding small venue, perfect for parties seeking an extraordinary environment. The Vernors Room, which includes a second floor lounge, provides the opportunity for an intimate music performance, cocktail hour, kids space, or any use of your choosing! The Vernors Room accommodates up to 100 guests.

The Patio

The Patio is one of our best-kept secrets. A fan favorite, this space offers guests an escape into an urban oasis. Built on the site of a former stable, the patio is a terrific atmosphere for a warm weather event, an autumn celebration, or a winter ice sculpture garden. The Patio can accommodate up to 75 guests and is directly accessible from both the Crofoot Ballroom and the Vernors Room.

As soon as we toured, we immediately felt like it was where our wedding would take place. Having the entire space for the entire day was fantastic. The bridal suite had more than enough space for me and all of my ladies (along with all of our things). The staff was beyond friendly and both Justin and Kristine made us feel completely at ease the entire time. We loved that their team handled all the setup (and tear down), executing my vision to a level beyond my hopes. There wasn't a candle or a flower out of place. Also, their sound system is unmatched.

The Crofoot Ballroom is a fabulous space that allows you the opportunity to incorporate a personal touch to a "turn-key" space! They provide so much more than most venues. Offering a variety of lounge furniture, as well as standard tables & chairs. Inquire for decor options available. The staff is extremely accommodating and they employee highly skilled bartenders too!

I had my wedding here in the grand ballroom, and everything was amazing. Kristine was extremely organized and made everything run so smoothly, and then on the night of my wedding my husband and I were speechless. When they pulled the doors open for us, it took our breath away. We had SO many people compliment us and say it was the most unique wedding they have been to. Thank you so much to the staff of Crofoot!

The building that houses the Crofoot Ballroom was built in 1830 and stands as the oldest commercial building in Oakland County. In 1880, the building was renovated by an Oakland county Judge named Michael E. Crofoot. We kept the historic name.

Across the street from the Crofoot is a huge privately owned parking lot. Their price for parking ranges from $5-$20 for public events. Parking is included within the rental pricing for weddings and is available in the lot across the street. Metered parking is available on the street for $1 an hour. There is also parking available in several parking structures throughout the neighborhood.

Food is available at some of our public events, but generally speaking, we recommend eating before you come to a show. M1 Grill is on the next block, and Fillmore 13 (a brewery with great food) is across the street.

The Crofoot is a multi-room entertainment complex. This versatile space can be configured to accommodate a gathering ranging from 2,000 guests all the way down to an intimate gathering of a dozen friends. At times, each room hosts different events. At others, all rooms are open and guests are free to wander.

The Crofoot has five spaces that can be rented individually or as a package depending on your vision and goals.

We included the following items within the rental pricing: - Guest parking - Tables - Chairs - Lounge furniture - Management - Hosts - Full intelligent lighting and sound - A lighting and sound engineer to operate and program sound and lights - Use of our 12 X 16 foot LCD projector screen - Flat screen TVs - Day of coordination services - Clean up

All beverage services must be provided by the Crofoot in accordance with our liquor license and insurance.

Yes, parking is included within the rental fee of the Crofoot Ballroom for the day of your event.

Yes, our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We have ramps throughout the facility, as well as an elevator available for public use in our main lobby.

As we do public events and other private gatherings throughout the year, January and July are the months that we would consider "off-peak".

Our most popular months for events are May, June, August, September, October, November, and December.
