Cherry Creek can comfortably accommodate celebrations with up to 500 guests. The staff at this venue is on hand to support to-be-weds to help them bring their dream day to life. You can host your event in the Lakeview Room, which has beautiful views of the lake and golf course and welcomes up to 230 people. Outdoors, the adjoining veranda offers a scenic setting for ceremonies and cocktail hours. Up to 165 of your loved ones can celebrate with you in the Terrace and Conservatory. You can also choose to use the entire clubhouse for grand gatherings. Catering can be provided by the club's own cuisine team. They are also happy to provide alternatives for any dietary restrictions.

The Terrace and Conservatory

Certainly one of Michigan’s most breathtaking banquet rooms, the Conservatory boasts 40 foot high cathedral ceilings and skylight dormer windows creating a luxurious feeling found in the finest examples of 17th Century American architecture, reminiscent of Thomas Jefferson’s home in Monticello. Connected to an outdoor patio with a gentle flowing fountain and lush gardens, the Conservatory combined with the Terrace and adjoining Patio are an exquisite combination of space for a wedding ceremony and reception as well as showers, birthday parties, communions, retirement parties and so on. The Terrace and Conservatory room can accommodate a recommended seating capacity of 165 guests for a sit-down dinner. The Conservatory may also be combined with the Lakeview Ballroom for even larger scale events.

Lakeview Ballroom

Appropriately named, the Lakeview space offers a breathtaking view of the lake and golf course. Fully renovated in 2014, our grandest ballroom now features two large bars, artisan craftsman-created wainscoting detail on the walls and ceilings, ornate brass chandeliers, beautiful wall sconces, and gorgeous picture windows that bring the beauty of the outdoors seemingly into the ballroom. The Lakeview Ballroom can either be divided into two equally spacious rooms which accommodate up to 100 each for a sit-down function or fully open as one space to accommodate up to 230 for a sit-down dinner. Like all of our banquet spaces, the Lakeview room is accompanied by outdoor space perfect for wedding ceremonies and cocktail receptions. The Veranda is by far the most popular outdoor space with its picturesque views, a photographer's dream backdrop on your special day.

    Cherry Creek was the perfect space for our Beauty and the Beast themed wedding! The elegant décor and gilded accents certainly evoke the ambience of the ballroom scene from the film without coming across as overdone. One of our favorite features of this venue is the conservatory, which provides a stunning panoramic view of the grounds; the view is made even more magical during an autumnal sunset when the golds and oranges of the changing leaves really pop. In addition to the beauty of the venue, I must highlight the wonderful staff at Cherry Creek. Our guests had numerous compliments for the staff on the day of our wedding, and my husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cherry Creek's staff and all of the hard work they put in behind the scenes to ensure our day was special. In particular, we want to give a shoutout to Shadia and Stefani, Cherry Creek's catering sales manager and event specialist (and our day-of coordinator), respectively. Both Shadia and Stefani are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate--they were excellent communicators throughout the entire wedding planning process and they made sure that we reviewed every detail before the big day. Stefani even came to the rescue on our wedding day when some wardrobe malfunctions occurred right before the ceremony! I could go on and on about how wonderful these two women are, but for the sake of brevity I will simply say that if you are considering Cherry Creek as your wedding venue and you have the opportunity to work with Shadia and Stefani, take that opportunity! They are wonderful and will ensure your wedding day is everything you hoped for and more. Finally, I would be remiss if I did not mention how fabulous the food is at Cherry Creek. My husband and I received rave reviews from numerous guests about the hors d'oeuvres, dinner service, dessert bar, and cocktails from our wedding, and we wholeheartedly agree with those reviews (the beef tenderloin cut like butter and the Boursin whipped potatoes were the best we've ever had). We especially loved that we had the ability to tailor our signature cocktails to fit the wedding theme. We also received many compliments about the ice cream sandwich bar (unfortunately, we were too stuffed to enjoy the ice cream ourselves!). In short, Cherry Creek was the perfect venue for our wedding day; if you are looking for all the beauty and romance of a fairy tale for your special day, then I highly recommend you choose Cherry Creek Golf Club!
