    I am writing to share my profound disappointment with the florist we hired for our wedding- Anthony and sage event design or Anthony and sage floral design. Unfortunately, they became the biggest stressor a few weeks leading up to the wedding day and on the wedding day. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I received several texts about flower availability issues and suggested substitutions. To make matters worse, she contacted me the day before the wedding to say she couldn’t find the candle holders we had talked about over a month ago. This only added to the unnecessary stress right before the big day. Firstly, the floral arrangements we discussed were not executed as agreed. We planned for six arrangements down the aisle but only four were provided. The memory table we specifically requested an arrangement for was left completely bare. Additionally, we were promised that we could keep all the flowers, including silk ones. However, when we arrived the next morning to collect them, only three centerpieces were left, and all the silk flowers were visibly ripped out of them from the arrangements. Despite discussing this with Lauren just two nights before, she claimed all flowers had been left behind and suggested that guests or venue must have taken them. This simply wasn’t the case, as my husband and I were the last to leave and saw no one take anything. Also, we asked for an arrangement for the phone booth and it was not installed correctly and fell over multiple times throughout the night. In addition, she admitted to me that she is reusing the arch that she had used from a wedding a few days before mine. She stated “that is the exact arch that you’ll have”. (Pictures will be attached for proof- the last picture is from my ceremony). Furthermore, the bouquet for the mother of the groom was also not provided. Due to such a hectic day, I did not find that out until after. Moreover, Lauren's professionalism was lacking. She never introduced herself to us or our families. My husband had to hunt her down to get his boutonniere, and she rushed to assemble it minutes before the ceremony—far from ideal. The delivery of loose flowers and the bouquet was also mishandled. We had agreed multiple times for them to be delivered to our Airbnb, but as the date approached, we encountered excuses about “freshness” of the bouquet. On the morning of the wedding, instead of fulfilling our agreement, Lauren asked our photographer to pick up flowers last minute because she was “stuck in traffic” and she would reimburse her. It has been close to 2 weeks and she still hasn’t responded to the photographer's follow-ups regarding reimbursement. Overall, I cannot recommend this florist due to their unprofessionalism, miscommunication, and failure to fulfill promises. When I reached out to express my concerns, I was met with silence and even blocked on Instagram instead of receiving an apology. I strongly urge everyone to reconsider booking this florist.

    Anthony and Sage Event Design were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very first meeting, Lauren was incredibly responsive, taking the time to answer all of my questions and helping me bring my vision to life. Her direct and honest approach was so refreshing, and she provided countless creative ideas that I never would have thought of on my own. The quality of their work was truly luxurious - the floral arrangements were stunning and exceeded my expectations. Lauren explained the different price points upfront so I knew all of my options, making the entire process seamless. I couldn't be happier with the results and would highly recommend Anthony and Sage Event Design to any couple who needs flowers and design for their special day.
