Emily is a Hudson Valley based couples & wedding photographer. Her philosophy in photography is that a genuine connection with the couples she works with are the key to intimate, emotional photographs. She’s drawn to capturing honest images; pictures that aren’t just pretty but tell real stories about real couples.

She shies away from the traditional style of wedding photography that is so often forced and lacking natural emotion. Instead, she creates a space for true connection so she can document those spontaneous reactions; your playfulness, joy, intimacy and everything in-between.

    Emily was an absolute joy to work with. She was responsive when communicating, encouraging, kind and thoughtful. She made sure our ideas were heard and implemented. She also offered her expertise where we were unsure. Emily made us feel extremely comfortable and was instrumental in making our day the perfection it was.     We had the most perfect day shooting our engagement photos in NYC with Emily! The communication before the shoot was perfect, and the day of could not have gone smoother. She helped direct us and feel at ease. The photos are beautiful and we cannot wait to have her there for our wedding!

    Emily was great! She was very communicative right from the start, and made sure we were on the same page about any specific shots we wanted right away. We got our sneak peaks extremely promptly (Monday after the wedding) which was so appreciated. Emily is experienced at weddings, which was super evident in how she worked with the coordinator and DJ to make sure she got every shot, and how she was barely noticeable with her camera but got the most amazing pictures! I still can't believe she captured these timeless moments that were so important to us (first look reaction, vow readings, candid moments with friends).
