We first started working together before the pandemic, and from the beginning she was an amazing advisor that helped me deal with the difficult decisions a bride-to-be has to make. I was very impressed by her proactiveness, professionalism, and wealth of knowledge about how to make the day special. She checked in with us regularly over the 2 year delay and helped us manage the challenging process of rescheduling multiple times. As we got closer to our wedding day, Jackie made sure we had every detailed lined up, including things my husband and I didn't even consider. She helped take care of signage, shipping, confirming with vendors, table/space set-up, and more. On the day of our wedding, she directed vendors, guided guests, and dealt with unforeseen emergencies. Our wedding could not have gone smoother and it was in a large part because of Jackie! My husband and I were married on September 20th, 2024 in Sonoma, California. I cannot imagine our wedding planning era & wedding without Amiee. As a native Sonoma/Glen Ellen girl, Amiee and I have a shared history of growing up in Sonoma, which lent her an advantage in planning and scoping out possible locations for rehearsal dinners, etc. Amiee also has a great eye and an appreciation for the finer things, so you can trust anything she recommends will be tasteful and beautiful. While I made most decisions with regards to color palettes, design, and aesthetic, I trusted Amiee to oversee the final setup and arrangements the day of, which was initially difficult for me to release control of, and she did NOT disappoint. Our reception was beautiful - my husband's boss told him it was the nicest wedding he had ever been to. My husband and I did things a bit unconventionally, with our vows in a backyard ceremony and our reception at the Jack London Lodge. Amiee helped us navigate the logistics of having 2 locations, and had a wealth of knowledge with regard to the smallest details, such as how many passed appetizers, do you really need a shuttle, etc. In addition to the overall wedding planning, Amiee's husband & his team were the caterers, which we still get compliments on 3 months after the wedding. The catering, overall smooth flow, the last minute touches Amiee added at the end - I am so grateful we worked with her and our wedding would not have been what it was without Amiee & their team.

I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Everything went perfectly on schedule and all the crazy ideas that we had came to life with no issues! It was truly the best day of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without McKenna’s help! There are no words to describe how thankful we are to Merrie and her team. We got married in November 2024 and our wedding went incredibly well. We couldn’t have done it without Merrie.
