It wasn't until the birth of my son that I was thrust into the world of photography. As soon as I snapped my first photo of him, I found the beauty of photography. I quickly noticed the parallels between the music I create and the photos I was taking. The balance between light and dark, joy and sadness, bold and muted, energetic and relaxed intrigued me and drove me to this passion.

Wedding photography that matters is about the people and the feelings of the wedding day. It's not about the poses that I might imagine or the pretty details that surround the day. Creativity has played a role in my life ever since I was a little girl. I grew up in upstate NY loving the outdoors and being close to the mountains! Although I loved where I grew up, when I graduated high school I decided to move South to Georgia to pursue a degree. While studying Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design, I fell in love with photography. I received my B.F.A in photography and then moved back home to NY where I became busy photographing weddings.
