As I honed in on my craft I began to photograph on a more professional level right out of high school, but stepped away for academic pursuits. After completing both a bachelors and master's degree in Anthropology, I came full circle, determining that a career in doing something creative was where my heart lies. In 2013, my love story began and in 2016, Matt and I tied got married! Two years ago, we moved to the Middle Tennessee with our two dogs, Brutus and Leonard, to start a new adventure in our lives. I am a fine art wedding photographer and wedding planner, wife, and mother to our three sweet babies! I first fell in love with photography at an early age. I became very inspired watching my father photograph weddings and capturing the authentic joy on his clients best day. It was then that I fell in love with the concept of love and knew what I wanted to do. I went on to film photography in high school and digital photography in college. After college I started a job as a party coordinator. I did this for years. Then, on blind faith started my own journey into the world of photography and wedding planning!

I fell in love with photography at a young age, while rummaging through boxes of family photographs. My favorite pictures were always the ones that felt as though you had been transported in time- a little blurry, but a lot of emotion.

My old Kentucky home has become the backdrop for so many amazing memories and moments captured. In 2020 I opened my first commercial studio with the best friend/ business partner there is. I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.
