After 10 years of shooting I can tell you happily that I still think I somehow got away with having the best job in the world. I adore being able to photograph the moments of life that make it worth living. Weddings, birth, family, there are concentrated amounts of love in these moments and being able to give someone a way to hold on to that visually is absolutely wonderful.

Because my style is a fusion of portraiture and documentarian - it tends to set me apart in terms of what clients receive. I really try to give a great mix of candid images along with directed shots so there is a wide variety. I also find that my turnaround is considered fast at just two-3 weeks which is honestly just due to the fact I can't leave images unedited for any amount of time! Haha!

Christy is a true professional - she is meticulous, creative, and a master of her craft. She captured my husband and I so authentically for both our engagement and wedding photos. She and her team were responsive, professional and accommodating from start to finish. Christy remained calm and composed despite the summer heat, family chaos, and various photo requests throughout the night. She made us the priority and ensured we felt comfortable and taken care of. We intend to hire her a million more times for life events worth capturing! Can’t recommend her enough.

If you’re getting married at the Inn of the Seventh Ray, hire Christy! She knows the venue like the back of her hand and made the whole planning process so much easier. Plus she’s friendly (some of our guests thought she was one of our friends!) and her work is gorgeous.
