Tami Bernard is a freelance professional makeup artist who is an educator and specializes in bridal makeup. She is known for making her clients look breathtaking. Using her own techniques and small brushes helps her to achieve skin that looks beautiful and evenly blended, as though she is using a magnifying glass. Tami has been trained in Los Angeles, New York, and New Orleans. Tami has created a team of artists that work with her to keep up with the demand of the ever-growing wedding industry.

Tami has been the lead artist at the Paris, New York, and Los Angeles Fashion weeks, featured on the cover of California Wedding Day Magazine, Oregon Bride, Seattle bride and featured in Harper’s Bazaar Magazine, lead artist on a short film, featured film and TV pilot, and is proud to be a presenter for The Powder Group Bridal Events, Brand Summit, and the International Salon & Spa Expo.

    This recommendation comes so easily, as hiring Tami was one of the absolute best choices I made first my wedding. From the early messaging back and forth, all the way up to the day of my wedding, Tami was a dream to work with. She’s so sweet, helpful and accommodating… she just really made the whole process as easy as possible. Then, on the day of my bridal makeup trial, she proved her skills and talent! Not only did she make me feel more beautiful and “myself” than I had in years… possibly ever; she was willing to try different colors and tweak different aspects until it was just right. One thing I was most concerned about are the acne scars on my cheeks, and I let her know this and that I’d like to conceal them as much as possible but also explained that I didn’t want the foundation to look cake-y. And I don’t know what kind of sorcery she did but my skin looked fantastic, and that confidence honestly was everything I could’ve hoped for as a bride. Lastly, one other thing that was a really cool bonus when working with Tami is that she taught me something about my specific skintone & undertone that has frustrated me my whole life and has ultimately changed the way I do my makeup with huge benefits, and for that I’m eternally grateful. So, should you hire Tami Bernard as your makeup artist for your wedding (or any other big event)? Yes! You won’t find anyone sweeter, more knowledgeable or more skilled.. that I’m certain of.
