I loved having my wedding at Ruffled Feathers. It is a beautiful venue to begin with, so there was very little that we had to to feel wedding ready. Everything went seamlessly and Kiley was a great day of coordinator, making sure that we had everything we needed. The food was outstanding and everyone raved about our cake which is provided from Orland Bakery. Everything felt so easy in those final days leading up to the wedding and it was so much to do with having everything at Ruffled Feathers and the amazing work they do.

Cog hill made our wedding an absolute dream. From the food, to the service to the behind the scenes they were 10/10. Jenny was our coordinator and i felt like she had our best interests in mind from day one. She was great with planning and making sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it. I've had so many people tell us how amazing the venue, food and of course full open bar were at our wedding. Cog hill is absolutely beautiful and gives you such a good bang for your buck. Would have our wedding there again in a heartbeat.

We are SO glad we chose Firehouse Chicago for our wedding in Sept 2024. It was truly the most beautiful, special day, and so much more than we ever imagined. The Firehouse was the perfect backdrop for our day. We chose to rent the upstairs room to get ready morning of, took all of our pictures onsite, had our ceremony in the garden, and dinner/reception in the engine room. The gorgeous greenery, subway tiles, natural light, and overall gorgeous aesthetic was perfect for us to relax and enjoy our day, and was truly picturesque from every angle for photos. Their attention to detail in curating this beautiful space is truly remarkable. Beyond its idyllic setting, one of the biggest perks of Firehouse Chicago, is the staff, and the wedding coordination that is included (you don't need to hire a separate day-of or month-of coordinator for this venue!). We got the pleasure of working closely with Teddy and Sarah and we really appreciated their calm reassuring demeanor throughout the wedding planning process, and their delicate touch knowing how important this day was for us and know overwhelming wedding planning can be. They truly helped take some of the stress and worry out of the planning process from start to finish. They ensured every little detail went off without a hitch from start to finish. They were so helpful in initial planning, month-of coordinating, day-of execution, and responding to all of my questions along the way. The rest of the Firehouse Staff was incredible day-of, and made sure everything ran smoothly. They kept us to our timeline, checked in with us frequently throughout the day, calmed my nerves as I waited to walk down the aisle, helped hype us up and build our confidence for our fire pole entrance, and even ensured we had some quiet time to ourselves after the ceremony to let things sink in and enjoy our moment. Their staff is truly the best- we were so fortunate we chose them for our big day.

As a DJ, I've had the opportunity to work with many venues in the Chicagoland area. The Bridge in Lemont is by far my favorite venue. The space is designed to give guests an outstanding experience in a beautiful building with several areas to keep the experience fresh, instead of being stuck in a stale hotel ballroom for six hours! The facility is purposely designed to make working in the space a breeze for vendors like myself. Finally, the staff—from the owners to the bartenders—are the best we work with. They care for both the clients (couples getting married) and the vendors, always keeping the best interests of the event's outcome in mind. I will always choose a Bridge Lemont wedding over another inquiry because it is guaranteed to be an amazing wedding.

Melissa was our primary contact leading up to the wedding, and communication was always prompt. Our questions were answered quickly and effectively. On our wedding day, The Drake staff was very helpful and attentive, making sure everything went smoothly. The Woman’s Club of Evanston was the perfect venue for our June wedding! After an extensive venue search, we were so excited to find the Woman’s Club. The venue checked every box we had - close enough to the city for us and our friends and close enough to the suburbs for our family. The venue is also located right between a reasonably-priced parking garage and a lovely Hilton, which accommodated anyone flying or driving into our celebration. Our vendors also raved about the ease of working in that space, from the vendor parking lot to loading areas to elevators. The venue manager, Gretchen, was the best! She is an excellent communicator and answered all our questions promptly, and was on top of all the tasks that needed to be completed. The BYOB policy of the venue also helped us save some money on our beverages. The list of preferred caterers was great and we found someone that was the perfect fit for our fusion wedding. The venue itself is so beautiful. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was just right for us. The first floor is so warm and welcoming, and was perfect for our photos and for the cocktail hour. The second floor ballroom is grand and had such a wow factor. We were able to keep our decorations to a minimum because the venue itself is gorgeous. The space has so much natural light. We used the gardens outside for our first look, which made for some lovely photos. There’s nowhere else I would rather have gotten married!

Picking Watermark Solarium was truly the best decision we made when starting our wedding planning journey. They are easy to work with, effectively communicate and make sure we and our guests had everything we needed. It was also a huge win that we were able to get the airbnb next door, it made it easy to run back and forth if we forgot something while getting ready. The ladies and I utilized the bridal suite which is a must! We also used the outdoor ceremony space, which was breath taking. Our guests talked all night how much the loved the space and how friendly everyone was. We truly had the party of the year and a lifetime of memories because of this place.

Seven Bridges was an outstanding wedding venue that made planning and day of a breeze! From the very beginning, Roisin was extremely flexible and made sure we knew she was always available for questions. She was always super fast to respond and eager to provide guidance. We chose the venue because we were excited to work with her and the packages (especially the higher ones) included so many details I didn’t want to have to worry about. Additionally, they have a beautiful outdoor ceremony space with ways to personalize and a backup space that would allow for a beautiful ceremony if bad weather happened. Also very important, they would have allowed my dog to be present had she been able to make it. There is only one wedding happening at a time and the ceremony space was very quiet, despite the golf course still being open. I did not have a planner but did not ever feel like I needed one. Roisin gave a list early on and while overwhelming at first look, I was able to chip away at it for 18 months. Leading up to the wedding, the venue coordinated with vendors to ensure everything went smoothly. While Roisin was not present the day of, there was an event manager, Jen, who helped to ensure everything went off without a hitch and any problems were handled immediately. The food was excellent and the bartenders were wonderful and so friendly. All the staff the day of were outstanding. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Seven Bridges.

Fernwood really is a hidden gem. The grounds are beautiful and their rates very affordable! They were very responsive to my many questions, and very helpful on the day of our wedding. They even let us use an extra classroom for the groomsmen to get ready in. They were also really flexible. You can’t really go wrong here, and the garden itself can be your decor! We also left one item behind by accident which we were able to pick up a few days later. Lots of “areas” to choose from for your day, too. Only complaint was the poison Ivy growing along some of the pathways, which were already fairly narrow. We just used alternate paths and it was no big deal!

She connected me to the catering company which was also very professional and worked to ensure my vendors had access to the venue space on the day of the event to pull off a great celebration of my husband's milestone birthday!
