It was originally built as a stucco home, in what was an area of parceled farms. Over time, the house was expanded and was eventually converted into a stone estate. The house fell into disrepair and in 1994, came into our guardianship. We have been working ever since to return it to its former glory. Stonehouse, with its arched windows, and open porches, would serve as a picturesque backdrop for any function. We have a luxurious indoor space that accommodates 70 guests. For weddings exceeding 70 guests your even takes place in a pristine Century Pole tent. *Stonehouse On The Hill requires you book one of our approved caterers for food and beverages for your event.*

We got married here in late Fall 2021. My husband and I wanted to support local businesses in a private setting and Stonehouse allowed us to do just that! We received so many compliments on the location, meal, and overall reception. This place truly is a hidden gem right outside of Worcester.

My husband and I got married at Crestwood April 2024 and from the moment I met the wedding coordinator Melany and toured Crestwood for the first time I knew I would be getting married there. The venue is beautiful, the food was amazing and the staff were all friendly. (Plus my husband was happy to be getting married on a golf course) During the planning process Melany was available and very responsive when I had any questions. She was also open and honest about the wedding planning process and I always felt like I was just chatting with a friend through the year leading up to the wedding. On the day of the staff was very attentive to our needs in the bridal suite and were readily available with any questions or logistics I needed to sort out. I do not have one negative thing to say about my experience with Crestwood and if I could I would re-live the day again exactly how it was which was perfection! Thank you Crestwood for making our day a dream come true!

We loved having our wedding at the Ballroom at Providence G! The space was very upscale and elegant. It looked fantastic in photos, and it felt great in person too. We also really enjoyed working with the staff at the venue. We worked hand-in-hand with several different people, and each person was organized, kind, and detail-oriented. And even though we talked with multiple people throughout the planning process, everything was very cohesive and all of our requests were honored (with no exceptions whatsoever). We also enjoyed having our cocktail hour on the Rooftop at the Providence G. The vibes up there were immaculate, and we also loved the appetizers and drinks. Additionally, we received several compliments from our guests on the location. Everyone took advantage of how the venue is in the heart of downtown Providence to spend some time enjoying the city. We cannot recommend Hotel Providence enough. Due to the pandemic and issues with our previous venue, we switched to the hotel with only 3 months to plan. Kate and her team went above and beyond for us - from planning to the actual day, they were there every step of the way. They made a very stressful time easy. In addition to this, the venue itself is beautiful and the food was delicious (received many compliments on this). And how easy for our guests to be in and stay in one place?! We already miss this day and the team. If you’re looking for a place - whether for a micro wedding now or sometime in the future, you won’t have regrets choosing Hotel Providence.

Historic, breath taking 4 story barn The farm and barn are about 200 years old, and the barn was originally used for cows. Over the years, it has been very well taken care of, so the original beams are still there, in sizes and shapes that you just can't get anymore! The owners are the third generation in their family to take care of the property and are very grateful to be the current stewards. The barn renovations completed in 2020 and it is all ADA compliant and up to code. In the barn, there is a full sound system, 14 chandeliers, a beautiful live edge bar top, two high end composting toilets (the flushing kind!), massive barn blue doors on each end, and a grand entrance staircase. The barn holds up to 200 people and is big enough that you don't have to rent a tent even with tables and chairs, a major benefit and money saver! In the event of rain, you can use the barn as a ceremony and reception space.

Just a Girl Events had the pleasure of working here for a small wedding. The venue is amazing! With 3 onsite areas that would be considered suites it is perfect to host your wedding party from the evening before to the day after. The studio space itself is beautiful with gabled ceilings and a beautiful floor with a brick inlay that is of the original design. The outdoor spacing can host a small area for cocktails with great ambiance or just a courtyard to hang out. The Colonial Hotel was so incredibly amazing I don’t think I’ll have the right words to describe it. The coordinating team was so thoughtful, helpful, accommodating, kind .. Mary went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and make sure our day was beyond perfect. Anya and Kayleigh supported us beyond perfectly throughout the wedding day and get us where we needed to be without taking away from any of the fun we were having. The food was incredible and everyone made sure my allergies could be accommodated. The ease of having every part of our wedding in one place was exactly what we were looking for. Not to mention it’s just beautiful. Us and our families had the weekend of our lives. The Colonial Hotel is the best place to get married.

Back in 2021, we came to view Lord Thompson Manor as our first wedding venue. Afterwards, we only went to one other venue, and decided that there were no more that we wanted to go see. Lord Thompson Manor was the one for us. We loved the uniqueness of Lord Thompson Manor, because we are not ballroom people! We are thrilled with our decision and wish we could relive the weekend over and over. Everything was absolutely perfect. Everyone within the Lord Thompson Manor staff was so accommodating and beyond caring and kind. The staff truly made us feel like we were family. It was so hard to leave on that Sunday! The attention to detail was immaculate and hasn't gone unnoticed. Many friends and family members have taken the time to reach out to us and our parents letting us know how Lord Thompson Manor was the most beautiful venue and how it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I first discovered Wedgewood Weddings while researching all inclusive venues in New England. I was surprised and delighted to see that they had their package pricing available on the website, the transparency and openness was an immediate green flag (and why I think the one star review here is completely unwarranted). You are able to price out your wedding with them before even walking through their doors, which is exactly what we did. We quickly reached out to schedule a tour! We were greeted warmly and shown the beautiful grounds at Fern Hill before talking about what package we would most be interested in. We chose the Premier Package, but everything is completely customizable within that. We left the tour with a copy of exactly what our wedding would cost and it didn’t take us long to decide that we wanted to move forward with Fern Hill. The all inclusivity of the venue is what puts Wedgewood over the top for excellence for us. In all my research, I couldn’t find any other venue that came ANYWHERE close to how all inclusive Wedgewood is. As a couple that has a hard time choosing what to have for dinner every night, we needed ease when it came to wedding planning. With Wedgewood we didn’t have to worry about finding a DJ, florist, caterer, or bakery. Beautiful invitation options are included, and the ones we chose allowed us to also add on extra decor and programs on top of that. They provided a lot of smaller decor necessities that saved us money and time (easels for signage, cake cutting utensils, baskets and boxes). The Bliss Benefits that are offered also saved us money on other expenses outside of what was already included. The best part is that your final cost is based off of your guest count, which can be changed up to 10 days before your wedding. When we had last minute declines, we were able to lower our final cost by hundreds of dollars. When we had another few declines happen after the 10 day mark, we were able to put that money towards adding lawn games on to our package. No money went to waste. Throughout the planning process, the team at Fern Hill answered any and all questions we had (no matter how small or seemingly silly). We were able to visit the venue multiple times through the year to be able to show our parents. When we decided to have a completely dry wedding, they were so excited for our signature mocktail ideas and helped us make that still fun and engaging for our guests. Rehearsal day could not have gone smoother. The entire team at Fern Hill are efficient, communicative, and just overall so good at their jobs. Wedding day was even better. We felt so taken care of and supported by the staff. The flow of the event was seamless, even when the schedule needed to shift for extra photo time. We received so many compliments on every aspect of the wedding; from the gorgeous ceremony space, the delicious food, the beautiful centerpieces, to how warm and kind the event staff was. We literally have zero complaints. We would highly recommend Fern Hill Barn, or any of the New England Wedgewood venues to anyone getting married. It was a completely stress free experience and has so much customization while still being all inclusive. We’re looking forward to being guests at a Wedgewood wedding in Colorado next year for one of my bridesmaids!

We loved having our wedding at the Seacoast Science Center. The venue is simply stunning. We were able to have both our ceremony and reception there with gorgeous views. Holly was so responsive over email during the process. Guests loved being able to go inside and see the marine animals too - it made for such unique and memorable experiences. We had our dream wedding at Grill 28 in September, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From start to finish, the staff was incredibly attentive, making the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. One of the best things about this venue is that it provides all the necessities, including tables and chairs. We brought in some of our own chairs for the reception while using theirs for the ceremony. They also offer a wide selection of linens and even the option to add an extra tent to accommodate more guests. What makes this venue truly special is the flexibility to curate your wedding exactly as you envision it. Nestled on the beautiful Pease Golf Course, it’s a hidden gem—a true diamond in the rough! Unlike many wedding venues, we never felt like there was any price gouging. Everything was very reasonable and transparent. The accessibility of this venue is also a huge plus. It’s wheelchair-friendly, and the main tent is set on a concrete pad, so you don’t have to worry about wet or muddy grass—a huge relief if the weather is unpredictable! We had designated rooms to get ready in, and the food was absolutely out of this world! There are multiple spaces to utilize, including the garden patio—perfect for our cocktail hour—and the main tent for our reception. Another bonus is that the venue is owned by the same company as Popovers, so we were able to order our cake directly and even do a tasting! The menus are fully customizable, which made everything feel even more personal. Another big plus is the ample parking, making it easy for all of our guests. We truly have nothing but amazing things to say about Grill 28. If you're looking for a wedding venue that offers both beauty and exceptional service, this is the place!

The Bay Pointe Club was a great choice for our wedding venue. Emailing with Barbara was a breeze - she was very responsive and easy to work with throughout the planning process. The space has a nice country club feel without the high price tag, which was perfect for our budget. The staff was polite and professional, and they even helped us pack up at the end of the night. One thing I would suggest is adding more bartenders, as we had a larger wedding and the drinks took a bit longer to be served. The food was delicious though, and all of our guests raved about it. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I'm so glad we chose the Bay Pointe Club. The grounds are beautiful, it's LGBTQ friendly, and the affordable price point made it an excellent value. I would highly recommend this venue to any couple planning their wedding.
