About this venue

Here at Coolidge Hall, we pride ourselves on providing one of the best wedding venues on the North Shore. Whether you are having your ceremony, reception, or both events at the Fairgrounds, our number one goal is to provide you with a location for the wedding of your dreams. To provide the ultimate experience for our couples, we offer extensive customization and flexibility, as each wedding we host is unique to the ones getting married. Although most of the events are centered in Coolidge Hall, we have a variety of other spaces available for use. Coolidge Square, our beautiful landscaped courtyard located just outside of the Hall, is perfect for a cocktail hour. What is used as the “Picnic Area” during the Fair can be transformed into an oasis for the perfect outdoor ceremony – complete with a rustic stage for the bride and groom to be wed on. For those who are looking for a more casual event, the Picnic Area can also be used for outdoor games and festivities during the reception.

Are you planning a beautiful wedding? Stay local and have it in Coolidge Hall on the Topsfield Fairgrounds

Entering the Hall, guests walk through our main lobby, featuring a large coat room and areas for items such as your guestbook, gift table, or picture displays. In the Main Hall, tables and chairs are pre-set by our event staff, according to the floor plan you arrange with our Wedding Coordinator prior to your Wedding Day. There are plenty of round tables and rectangular tables available for use, as well as chairs, at no extra cost. We also welcome Brides and Grooms to use furniture, décor, and other items from outside rental companies to help bring their Wedding Day vision to life!

Coolidge Hall also features a full kitchen, perfect for any size caterer. An oven, stove top, several refrigeration units, and other amenities are available for your caterer’s use. From high-end, black-tie caterers, to buffet-style caterers, or even just the family chef, the Fairgrounds offers the flexibility for you to use almost any outside caterer of your choosing. However, if you are looking for more guidance on great local services, our staff can also provide you with a list of suggested caterers who our weddings and other events have enjoyed working with in the past. The kitchen is secluded in a corner of the Hall and caterers are invited to use the back entrance – eliminating any disruption of your guests or the event.

The Topsfield Fairgrounds has been hosting weddings in Coolidge Hall for several years. We pride ourselves on providing the perfect venue - a pleasant blend of rustic scenery and design with the comforts and appeal of modern life. After upgrades and renovations in early 2014, brides and grooms can now enjoy our surround-sound system, 10-foot movie screen, ample free parking (including parking near the entrances, for those who need it), access to a private Bridal Suite, and more!
