Step back in time at The Asa Whiting House, a beautifully preserved 1812 Federal-style home. Explore its period-decorated rooms, featuring original furniture and wallpapers. Discover the charming barn, restored in the 1970s, and enjoy the enchanting garden, complete with white arches. Perfect for weddings, receptions, and other special events, The Holliston Historical Society offers a unique and historic setting for your celebration.

The Holliston Historical Society

Create unforgettable memories in the picturesque setting of the Asa Whiting House and its restored barn.

• Asa Whiting House:Built in 1812, the House was originally sited closer to Washington Street and was moved to its present site in the early 1930s. It has been redecorated with period wallpapers. Furniture is typical for the time and accents the front parlor and formal dining room. The large meeting room is used for both formal and informal functions. • The Barn: Built in 1817, was restored in the 1970s. At that time, a full kitchen and lavatories were added at the back. The capacity of the Barn is 100 people and includes use of the barn kitchen, side yards, and Wedding garden.

The house rental includes the use of the entire first floor (meeting room, parlor, dining room, and kitchen) as well as the two side porches. (The kitchen is licensed only for the serving of off-premise prepared foods, not meal production).
