The Pruyn House is the Cultural and Historical Center for the Town of Colonie. We have a five and 1/2 acre property, including the House, the Buhrmaster Barn, the Verdoy Schoolhouse and several other buildings. We provide access to the Barn for the reception, the garden for the ceremony, the birch grove for the cocktail hour and dressing areas in the Pruyn House and the Verdoy Schoolhouse. Tables and chairs are included. All else must be provided through rental services and catering. We have one security person who will be on site throughout your event. All else provided by caterer or rental service.

The Edison Downtown is a brand new wedding and event venue in downtown Schenectady and established in 2021. The venue is exclusively catered and owned by Seasons Catering where they are excited to begin hosting events. This venue holds the history from when Thomas Edison came to Schenectady to start up Edison Machine Works and when he combined it into the Edison General Electric company in 1889. After - the building transformed into the Schenectady Gazette headquarters. In our renovations - we have kept the history and charm of the building with the original printing press from 1894 and our exposed brick interior.

At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Situated on four acres, conveniently set amid the arts, culture and natural beauty that define Saratoga Springs, Anne's Washington Inn is the perfect setting for weddings, rehearsal dinners, and bridal brunches. Consisting of two Victorian country houses, with a total of 18 overnight rooms, our accommodations welcome and pamper your guests. Victorian decor with traditional accents follow you throughout bright, cheery rooms enhanced by antique furnishings, fluffy comforters, tapestries, sparkling mirrors and sunny windows. The key to your wonderful weekend is that when you reserve our dining room, grounds and all 18 guest rooms, you and your family and friends are the only people at the inn, giving you exclusive use of our venue.

The West Mountain Inn was originally built as a farmhouse in 1809. From 1880 to 1920, first a gristmill and then a lumber mill were operated on the Battenkill River at the foot of the mountain. In 1904 Ned and Gwendolyn Rochester purchased the 150 acre farm and began to transform it into an elegant summer estate. After a succession of other residents the estate later became an arts and retreat center.
