Lilac Hill is a family owned 80 acre property in Louisville, NE, about 25 minutes from Omaha and 45 minutes from Lincoln. The original founders of Lilac Hill, Don and Bev Maxon, bought this old run down property in the 80's and set out to create their own arboretum. There are dozens of old growth trees, hundreds of blue spruce, and thousands of flowering shrubs and plants, which provide beautiful color and depth everywhere you go. The space combines elements of BoHo, Rustic, Elegant, and Industrial in a romantic natural landscape. So many of our guests comment that they don't feel like they're in Nebraska anymore! The property is enclosed by trees, providing a feeling of seclusion and exclusivity where your guests can hang out under our 100' tall cottonwood trees and smell the lilac scented breezes. In 1929, Jean-Pierre Auguste Dalmas, a Waldensian immigrant from Villar Pellice, Italy, started construction on the dairy barn on his property in Valdese, NC. After the barn had been completed, work began on the main house. He built a rock veneered masterpiece, large enough to house his 7 children. He cleared a field for a vineyard and until his death in 1972 (at the age of 92), he made wine in the basement of the main house every autumn.

We were lead to an aging, almost forgotten piece of our past. The old Cotton Depot in Clinton SC quietly sat on the edge of downtown. The building spoke to us, 17,000 square feet of handmade brick each telling a story, 11ft ceilings with exposed beams, arched windows and wide planked floors. We immediately began designing the space. Through our catering experience we knew the need for easy access, a good flow and having conveniently located facilities. We also knew the importance of having multifunctioning spaces that can be dressed up or down to make each event uniquely yours. The silos are also a great spot for a cigar bar. Equipped with two large decks on either side of the venue, one is covered and remains completely waterproof even when the weather doesn't cooperate. The other overlooks the Genesee Valley where there is plenty of open space to see for miles. We have tables and padded fruitwood chairs to accommodate up to 250 guests.
