About this venue

Nestled on 60 acres of rolling hills, Board & Batten is a wedding and event venue near High Rock Lake, NC. We were recently named one of the top 40 barn wedding venues in the country by Country Living Magazine! Board & Batten was designed to make sure every inch of our property is perfect for your wedding day. We have separate spaces for the couple to get ready, room for over 200 guests, a huge covered porch, and an amazing back patio that features a fireplace and a bocce ball court. Our space brings the elements of a southern barn and industrial space together perfectly. There is no place around like Board & Batten.

The Idyllic Setting For Any Event

The expertly designed event space that makes up Board & Batten Events creates the perfect backdrop for a celebration between close friends and family. With the combination of rustic charm along with modern-day elegance, you can turn Board & Batten Events into practically any type of setting that you prefer. Because this space was built and designed strictly with events in mind, its layout is extremely versatile. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor event space options and has capacity for up to 250 guests.

Board & Batten Events comes equipped with trained staff whose job it is to make sure that their clients are well taken care of. With featured rooms like a bridal suite and groom's quarters, couples will get the royal treatment on their big day. This venue offers a variety of furniture items available for use the day of your event. These items include white padded folding chairs, chiavari chairs, round dining tables and rectangular buffet tables.
