World Class DJTY loves the challenge of “rocking any crowd” and specializes in old-school hip-hop, R&B, reggae, rock and top 40. With over 15 years in experience, his accomplishments include hosting events for companies like Monster Energy drink and Nuvo. With the greatest of these accomplishments, World Class DJTY continues to show his support for community ventures by volunteering and advocating for organizations such as the: National Down Syndrome Network, Autism Awareness, Breast Cancer Awareness, Governor Morehead School of the Blind and the Durham County Public Schools.
World Class DJTY started his own company named RocThaSpot Events, which serves the Virginia, Raleigh-Durham and Greensboro-Triad Area. This world class business venture offers a variety of services such as: wedding and corporate event planning, graphic designs, photography, event DJ's and premiere sound system rentals. RocThaSpot Events has something to fit everyone’s need. The company’s motto is “There are no events too big or small, we Roc them all"

A great time was had!
Ty truly went above and beyond for our wedding! The app he provides for the song selection was great and easy to navigate. You can answer all the necessary questions in app and if he has any questions he’ll be sure to reach out. I wanted a combination of two songs for our first dance and Ty was gracious enough to create a mix for us that was a smashing hit. He did everything he could to get the party started and keep it going and our guests had a lovely time. We also added on the photo booth to our package and Ty created a beautiful background in our wedding colors for guests to be framed in. He danced, he sang, he MC’d, and even when the photobooth had some minor technical difficulties he jumped in to fix it expeditiously. He gave us and our guests a great experience, and we have no doubt he’ll do the same for you!

From the moment we booked RocThaSpot Events for our wedding, we knew we were in good hands. DJ Ty was very punctual and communicated great with us throughout the planning process. On the day of, he kept us moving the whole time - everyone was dancing, laughing, reminiscing, and congratulating us all night long. DJ Ty is one of the best DJs I've ever dealt with. He was punctual, he communicated great, he listened to the crowd, and he kept us on the dance floor. I would definitely ask him to do another event for us again.
Amazing DJ ever!
We had the pleasure of working with RocThaSpot Events for our wedding, and he was absolutely fantastic. Their communication throughout the process was consistently open, respectful, and great. They were hardworking and truly delivered fantastic value. During the wedding, the DJ showed up early, seamlessly set up, and got the party started with an amazing music set that had all our guests hyped up and interacting with each other on the dance floor. Words can't describe how great RocThaSpot Events was - we highly recommend them to any couple looking for a top-notch wedding DJ!

I’ve hired DJ Ty for several events, including PTA gatherings, birthday parties, day parties, and workout events, and he never disappoints! He has a real talent for setting the right mood for every occasion. Whether it’s keeping the energy high at a birthday or making sure the vibe is perfect for a workout event, his music selection is always on point. The best part is, I’ll look up and see him out there on the dance floor, connecting with the crowd and bringing the party to life. If you're looking for a DJ who knows how to get everyone involved and create a great atmosphere, DJ Ty is the one! Highly recommend him
