World Class DJTY loves the challenge of “rocking any crowd” and specializes in old-school hip-hop, R&B, reggae, rock and top 40. With over 15 years in experience, his accomplishments include hosting events for companies like Monster Energy drink and Nuvo. With the greatest of these accomplishments, World Class DJTY continues to show his support for community ventures by volunteering and advocating for organizations such as the: National Down Syndrome Network, Autism Awareness, Breast Cancer Awareness, Governor Morehead School of the Blind and the Durham County Public Schools.
World Class DJTY started his own company named RocThaSpot Events, which serves the Virginia, Raleigh-Durham and Greensboro-Triad Area. This world class business venture offers a variety of services such as: wedding and corporate event planning, graphic designs, photography, event DJ's and premiere sound system rentals. RocThaSpot Events has something to fit everyone’s need. The company’s motto is “There are no events too big or small, we Roc them all"

Best DJ in the triangle
RocThaSpot Events was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was responsive, proactive, clear, and prompt - making the planning process seamless. On the day of the event, he was a true professional, staying engaged with us and our guests throughout the entire reception. Their flexibility and innovative approach ensured the dance floor was packed all night long. Several attendees said this was one of the best weddings they had been to, and I owe that in large part to our incredible DJ from RocThaSpot Events. I will definitely be booking them for all my future events!!

This was my second time booking DJ Ty for his services and he executed everything we wanted and then some, as per usual! I couldn’t recommend him more! I wish I had more friends and family in the area to talk him up to but I do for anyone who will listen. You wouldn’t regret choosing him for your event, regardless of type.

Perfect DJ for your big Day!
As a wedding planner finding a DJ that is communicative, attentive and a wedding professional can be hard to. My clients original DJ pulled put a few weeks before the wedding and DJ Ty stepped right up. Communicating with my clients all while keeping me in the loop was amazing. He kept the wedding rocking all night and his set up was beautifully done. After that wedding I immediately added him to my preferred vendors list. Wedding Planner’s and Future Couples book DJ Ty!
