Based in Marion, OH, The Brickyard On Main is a wedding venue that offers a big-city feel on a small town budget. Once home to the likes of Kroger, Bender Liquor Supply, and Spano’s Market, this beautiful building offers historic charm and modern amenities with a splash of elegance. From the second you walk in the door, you fall in love with the exposed rafters, brick walls, original wood floors, and a limestone wall dating back to 1832. From there, you can go through our glass garage door to an incredible enclosed courtyard, complete with string lights, fire feature, and artificial turf. Our bar is fully stocked, and while we could try to describe the aesthetics, words don’t do it justice. Seriously. Check out the pictures. Two private dressing rooms make getting ready fun and easy. And while we don't like to brag, the restrooms here are pretty dope. Again, look at the pictures! We offer a prep kitchen for the licensed caterer of your choice to use!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at The Brickyard. It is a gorgeous venue and it’s ambience was exactly what we wanted. It allowed us to have both the ceremony and reception at the same place. The bridal room was a great space to get ready and provided a space for both our makeup and hair to be done. There was also a designated space for the groom and best man to get ready. Casey was great to work with and she made the overall planning much easier. She honestly thought of everything.

The Grand 1401 offers two beautiful ballrooms. The Grand Ballroom is located on the 1st floor and has a capacity of up to 500 guests and comes with a Mezzanine that oversees the ballroom. The Grand on 10th is located on the 10th floor and has a capacity of up to 300 guests and has access to the veranda that overlooks downtown Fresno. The Grand 1401 is on the official list of the Nation's historic places worthy of preservation. The former SJL&P Building is a highly significant building in Fresno, both as a visual architectural landmark for the City and as an excellent example of the Italian Renaissance Revival style.

The Grand was such a great experience. We got married on the 10th floor and the building makes you feel like you’re in different city! Very clean, very kind staff, the venue coordinator Alma is very accommodating and helpful. The facility is huge and has a full kitchen, bathrooms, terrace access, a gorgeous stage with draping at an additional price, tables & chairs, stunning ornate venue. A dream come true for a winter wedding!

We only host to one event per day, which means you exclusively have our entire event center at your fingertips! We have an indoor facility that can easily be segmented depending on your event’s needs which seats around 385 people comfortably. If you prefer to host your event outside, our outdoor facilities can comfortably fit over 500 people and we have tents available. We have the audio/visual equipment you require for presentations and table and chair arrangements suited for all types of occasions. We even have a 500 square foot dance floor in our newly renovated hall. At The Franciscan, we also have a wonderful and delicious onsite catering service, That Personal Touch Catering, that will handle all of your food and beverage needs.

First off, the location is beautiful and so is the inside. Lots of different types of venues within the building so super customizable. I was there for a holiday party on 12/2/22 and was so impressed. I got to see each space they had and it was beautifully decorated. Great staff, very clean (including the bathrooms) and I would definitely go back to any event being held there or highly considerate for my own event in the future!

A great blank canvas venue! The staff is very accommodating and allow you to bring in vendors of your choosing. They were very helpful and always available for a phone call/meeting to go over logistics. It’s also a huge space that was great for my 200 person ceremony and reception. Definitely would recommend at least getting a day of coordinator because the venue does not come with anything other than tables and chairs, so setup is a big task. I absolutely loved how our wedding turned out and we got so many compliments about how unique the venue was from our guests!

I’ve worked with Harmony Hall for the past 9 months to prepare for my wedding which happened yesterday without a problem! We got rained out so we had to move inside but everything was organized so beautifully that I am so happy we did it inside. There’s a whole building where everyone gets ready in so we don’t have to ever leave the venue! When the wedding was over and it was time for cocktail hour, Jill greeted us at the building we got ready in with drinks and a spread of appetizers so we could take a few minutes for ourselves. The staff was so helpful and attentive and Jill made sure to keep things running smoothly. They have their own catering and their food was delicious! There were so many options to choose from and everything came out fresh, hot, and delicious. There is absolutely nothing I would change about the experience here. They made my wedding memorable and I would recommend them to anyone I see.

Melissa is honestly so incredibly sweet, professional, and 100000% a rockstar. The entire planning process was so smooth I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about Melissa. My mom and friends continue to text each other in our group chat going on and on about how perfect the day was and how amazing Melissa was. The entire staff at River creek including Oscar and the gentleman who sits at the front desk are soooo incredibly kind and just makes you feel so welcome the second you walk through the doors. I absolutely had the best wedding and I owe in large part to Patricia and Melissa and everyone at River creek. Thank you all so much for such an amazing day I will never forget.

My husband and I found Allegro while searching for venues in the Hill Country, and Allegro had just reopened under new management. We scheduled a "sip and see" with venue manager, Amber, and absolutely fell in love with everything about it! This venue is awesome as everything is right there including bridal/ groom suites, some lodging accommodations if you need them, the chapel, covered cocktail hour space, and a large reception space. Allegro has everything you love about hill country, with lots of space, Texas charm, and natural beauty. Truly, the selling point was Grace chapel, where the natural beauty won us over. Amber and her team were fantastic throughout the planning process, offering us suggested vendors when needed, inviting us to open house/ vendor gatherings, etc. and allowing us to schedule an additional tour with our family who wanted to see the space as well. The Allegro team added a lot of really great options throughout our planning as well, including some decor pieces, greenery wall for backdrops, candle votives, and GOLD CHARGERS! It is also close enough to the hotels in dripping springs, so guests have options on where to stay. Pro tip: book blocks as soon as possible! Additionally, if you have a larger bridal party, the bridal suite is fairly tight for 10 people, so utilizing another space could be helpful. All in all, Allegro surpassed our expectations, and we could not be happier with how our wedding went back in October 2023. When I tell you to book this venue.. really, BOOK THIS VENUE, you will not regret it - with beautiful grounds and the most amazing team committed to making your wedding the best day ever. I am so thankful we came across Allegro and will recommend it to everyone! Side note: the venue is undergoing renovations currently which I think will somehow make this dreamy venue even more beautiful for future brides.

My fiancé and I discovered the hidden gem of 19 North by Froehlich's while initially visiting for a delightful breakfast at Froehlich's restaurant. We were thrilled to learn it doubles as a stunning wedding venue! From the grandeur of the 8-foot chandelier and star-like pendant lights to the vintage charm of the ornate tin ceiling tiles, this venue marries historical preservation with modern elegance. The impressive wooden doors promise an unforgettable ceremony entrance, complemented by antique lounge sets and a private entrance through a picturesque glass atrium, perfect for a cocktail hour. The photos I'm including are frames from a video I took during the tour and they simply do not do this beautiful space justice! As a Chicago couple seeking a beautiful wedding without the metropolitan price tag, we were thrilled by 19 North's proximity to Chicago and charming towns like Three Oaks, New Buffalo, and Michigan City. The all-inclusive experience, from the beautiful furnishings to the option of building a custom menu, means fewer details to manage and more time to enjoy the journey to our special day. There are also tons of walkable Airbnbs which will be great for us and our out-of-town guests. The array of options and pricing transparency for catering and staffing have been impressive, reflecting the venue's commitment to ease and excellence. I looked at a ton of different venues throughout Austin for my wedding and I KNEW 800 Congress was the one. It delivered on every front. The space is absolutely gorgeous and ready to take on the energy of your event. The location is breathtaking at night in such a gorgeous area of downtown. Make use of the projector screen in the corner of the venue as it can’t be pulled out of sight- we aired a black and white movie during the reception and it added such a flair to the entire event. Everyone was easy and professional to work with, and I had the best wedding day.

We were well taken care of every step in the process, from booking, logistics, today of! The food was incredible and still something my guests rave about. We had our wedding here in February of 2024. The space is so incredibly beautiful. It would have been worth it for the view and the vibe alone. To our enormous delight, the staff is also unbelievably friendly and helpful, and the cocktails are to die for. Lawless did not charge an event fee, only the food and beverage minimum, a small fee to do the ceremony on site (ours was 500) and a fee for a day of coordinator (so worth it!). This is a game changer for a wedding budget and allowed us to splurge on some things we thought we'd have to miss out on. We selected the plated dinner, and they were flexible with us on plating when we asked for small adjustments. Every time we had a question, they were extremely responsive. We had concerns about accessibility for our guests with wheelchairs, but the team at Lawless provided detailed instructions on how to access from The Rice elevators. We cannot thank Mel, Emily, Courtney, Morgan, and Caleb enough for making our special day run smoothly and look perfect.

We wanted a venue with an outdoor option for a ceremony that was not a barn. This venue is absolutely beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for. We had our ceremony outside by the lake, our guest used the outdoor patio space for cocktail hour then we had dinner and dancing mostly inside. It was the best of both worlds with air-conditioning while we ate yet being able to use the outside since the weather was so nice. Jacque and her team were very easy to work with and basically allowed us to do whatever we wanted with the space. Food, alcohol and decoration set up were included in the per person pricing which was amazing for us since we live out of state. Everyone raved of the food and drinks, the beautiful ceremony and the overall great atmosphere. There is also a house for rent on the property which made getting ready a breeze since the bridal party and S.Os were all able to stay there. Jacque and her team truly made the weekend so stress free for me and my husband, I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else!

Daniela Almeida was in charge of our room accommodations and she was amazing. So helpful and patient with us through all of our questions and emails. Last, but not least the valet team is fantastic. They were so kind and always lending a helping hand to us bringing in our wedding DIYs. Daniel in particular was such a friendly and helpful valet attendant. Overall, we highly recommend booking the Riverside Hotel for any event. We would choose here a million times over!

We love working with couples at Nationwide Hotel for several reasons. First, it is logistically so much easier for couples to have everything taking place in one location. They can stay overnight the night before, get ready there, ceremony, photos, reception, and then afterward all of their guests can stay right there. This means there is no need to coordinate guest transportation, off-site hotels, bridal party transportation for photos, or have an elongated break for photography after the ceremony since it is much faster to do on site. Second, there are plenty of outdoor spaces for couples or bridal party photos if it rains! This is a huge advantage that not all venues have and rain is a real concern for an Ohio wedding. Third, there is a variety of spots on the property for doing group or couples photos. You can have the look of brick, green lawn, the beautiful pergola with all the greenery, the iconic covered walkway, some flowers, a tree-lined area where the leaves change colors SO perfectly in the Fall, and of course the fountain! By the way, the pond is amazing for sunset photos! We have been at Nationwide many times as photographers and always had a great experience. The food was always hot and served on schedule, and their staff is so friendly and genuinely wants to create the best experience for their guests. You cannot go wrong with any of their event spaces!

We recently hosted our wedding at the Ritz and we had the best experience. It was beyond anything we could have imagined and that is due to the people that work there. From the very beginning working with Akiko on our contract through check-out with Zella at Guest Relations and Margie at reception. The property is absolutely beautiful and speaks for itself, but it is because of the people that we plan to return for future vacations and anniversaries for years to come. The true ALL STARS of our experience were Marisa, our wedding coordinator, and Michelle, the manager at the Banyan Tree where we hosted our reception. You could not ask for a better wedding coordinator than Marisa. She was always organized and on top of every detail, answered questions via email/phone/video chat right away, dealt amazingly well with all the wedding stress and last-minute details, and made you feel like you were the only person she was there to take care of. When I say she went above and beyond at her job, that is an understatement. She always had the right answer in any situation. She helped us coordinate events before and after our wedding, which she didn't have to do, and put extra special touches on each of them. She made everything special, memorable, and go off without a hitch. This is the place to get married if you want to have the experience of a lifetime. Make sure you ask for Marisa to be your coordinator. Planning your wedding is such an intimate experience that you really bond with people you work with. My husband and I definitely bonded with Marisa and are so appreciative of her that we already miss talking with her all the time. Michelle, who handled the dinner portion of our wedding at the Banyan Tree (the restaurant on property) was also wonderful and did an amazing job making our dinner beautiful, special, unique, and magical. She handled all our special requests from diet, decor, music, and more with grace and expertise. We had 52 people, so it wasn't a small wedding dinner. She executed every detail we asked of her in a fashion that was better than we could have imagined. She always guided us in the right direction when we had difficulties making decisions on food, drinks, seating arrangements, etc. Michelle clearly has impeccable taste and is a true professional in her industry. I greatly appreciate her thoughtfulness, generosity, and gracious personality that is exhibited in everything she does. Her staff is reflective of her... attentive, caring, and professional. Lana in particular took great care of us. She was helping us out on our wedding day, making sure everything at the dinner stayed on schedule and that all our needs were taken care of. When my husband and I went back six days later for Valentine's Day before we left the Ritz we got to sit in Lana's section and spend more time with her. She was such a joy it elevated our dinner experience all the more. I have so many stories about how the people at Ritz made our experience a once-in-a-lifetime wedding experience (and vacation) there just isn't enough room to write it in this review. Overall, we spent about a week at the Ritz and every person we interacted with operated with the same high level of care, customer service, and a true spirit of graciousness. Needless to say, we plan to return to the Ritz in Kapalua as soon as we can! I don’t think we’ll find a comparable experience anywhere else in the world. Lastly, the cost was a good value, you won't regret it!

The venue space is so nice and attractive. We loved the exposed brick and dark hardwood floors. Plus, they have really nice chiavari chairs (not folding plastic ones like other venues)! Eric Turner met with us well in advance, gave us a tour, and answered all of our questions about fees, coordination, etc. Eric was easy to communicate with and always promptly responded by text. Eric also introduced us to Dinetta Hayes who helped setup the decorations and day of coordinating. We gave her a general aesthetic idea and ran with it and made life so easy for our wedding. The decor was perfect with Dinetta's help, and she made sure the actual wedding day ran smoothly. She also separately met with us at the venue and was very responsive by text. She took great notes and nailed everything to perfection. Our day went off without a hitch, and we had such a fun time at our wedding. Eric and Dinetta welcomed us in with open arms and made our day feel special. You absolutely cannot beat the service you'll get at the rental price and fees at the Avenue. Don't look anywhere. It features a gorgeous 6,700 square foot lodge & event center with an 1,800 square ft. private suite fully equipped with kitchen, fire place, and elegant bathroom all with a slight rustic feel. There is also a steam room for guests to unwind and enjoy. In addition, there is a lakefront event center with dual inside and outside fireplaces, and accommodations. For a more remote and primitive experience, there are secluded cabins complete with bathrooms and a pavilion with cooking grills sinks and fire pits amidst beautiful hiking and horseback riding trails.

I don't even know if I can explain enough how wonderful everything was about our experience with Sugar Lake Lodge. Nadine and Steve were fantastic to work with. Steve was our officiant and Nadine was was our planner and they both get 5/5 stars. Of all the searching we did for a venue and to think we ALMOST went with a different one. I found Sugar Lake Lodge and at the last minute before booking I decided to just see it for the heck of it. All we had to do was pull in the drive before we got to the Lodge for our meeting and we KNEW this was the place for us. We had a personal hiccup and postponed our wedding and Steve was sooo understanding and even offered services if we needed anything. Steve was our Officiant and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Our ceremony was a little different but he was terrific. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money to have a wedding coordinator but I'm so glad I did. Nadine was fabulous and had suggestions that were perfect. At one point close to the wedding day I was having an issue with the person that was to do my flowers and Nadine was ready to dig in and see if she could help. Heidi was on top of everything the day of and was very attentive. She even made sure that my Husbands elderly father didn't need anything throughout the day. She set everything up and was perfect. We had gotten LOTS of compliments from how beautiful the venue was to how Heidi was made everything run smoothly. We wanted to get married by the big tree at the lake but the weather wasn't cooperating. Steve made sure that when there was a break in the weather he got us out to get the pictures we were hoping to get outside. I didn't catch her name but the bartender was absolutely amazing as well. I cannot say enough about this venue. If you have ANY doubts, forget them. This place was more than what I wanted to spend but it was so worth it. Book your wedding with Sugar Lake Lodge!

The Ashley Inn was the perfect venue, they have great staff and Heidi is a joy to work with . If you want the ideal Kentucky themed wedding look no further than the Ashley Inn. The venue is nice for out of town wedding party members as the venue sleeps 14 plus people. My only recommendation would be to add additional fans in the barn for late night dancing. We had both barn doors open, but no summers breeze so the barn heated up fast for dancing.

Planning a rehearsal dinner long distance is not an easy thing to do. I contacted several venues in Dahlonega Ga where my son and his fiancee were getting married. No one would call me back except for Twenty Seven on Park. My future daughter-in-law also recommended them since they had stopped in to see if it was a possible wedding venue. The size was too small for the wedding, but it was perfect for the rehearsal dinner! There was plenty of room to mingle and have various stations for desserts and refreshments. Everyone had a great time and the food was delicious!

My wedding was this past December, and I had been looking for a hotel to accommodate my family and friends. The Hyatt House in Morrisville was the perfect spot. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and even handed out gift bags to our guests. The event coordinator, Brett, is absolutely fantastic to work with. He is not only professional, but extremely kind and responsive. I am a big fan of Hyatt in general, but this experience just really solidified everything about Hyatt I already like. The hotel lobby area/bar was the perfect spot for the family to informally gather during the wedding weekend and the variety in breakfast day to day was also an added bonus. If you area looking for a spot to host your family and friends then definitely consider this hotel!

Highly recommend holding your wedding reception at the Madison Concourse! Kylie was a huge part in making the day perfect. During the planning process, she answered my many emails quickly, answered any and all questions I had, and was always willing to talk through what the wedding day would look like. On the day of, Kylie checked in with me and my husband multiple times to see if we needed anything and to check if things were going as planned. The reception space (Wisconsin ballroom) we rented was so beautiful as well and the food was AMAZING! We had the perfect day and would recommend the Concourse to anyone looking to have their wedding in the Madison area.

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space.
