“Dennis is the best DJ ever!!! My husband and I were absolutely blown away by how fantastic he was for our wedding. He put on a SHOW! There was a fog machine, up lights, and an entire light show, and microphones to sing along that kept everyone on the dance floor all night long! Dennis has an awesome personality and is a blast to work with. On the wedding day he did just the right amount of talking and was able to really feel the vibe of the night and play music accordingly. So many people commented that they thought I had given him the playlist because he matched the type of music we wanted so perfectly! Dennis played a great combination of music that had guests of all ages enjoying the wedding and saying it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. He was also able to get almost everyone at the wedding into a conga line! He was extremely flexible and more than willing to do help us coordinate many unique items throughout the night (shoe game, husband singing live, “father daughter dance mash up, table dash, reverse anniversary dance). We had a difficult and unique timeline compared to most weddings due to it being a backyard wedding with a not so strict timeline, and two ceremonies (an American ceremony and a Moroccan ceremony) each requiring their own music. Throughout the day, Dennis was flexible and coordinated seamlessly with our other vendors to adjust the timeline when we were running late and made sure it worked for everyone. He knew the best times to do all of the events at the reception and we were easily able to extend him for an hour on the day of the wedding when we realized everyone was having such a good time and we didn’t want the party to end! Dennis was extremely helpful throughout the whole planning process by getting an idea of the type of music we liked and then offering suggestions he thought we would like. He was spot on and made the whole process of selecting music for the whole wedding (so many more songs than I would have anticipated) so easy and ensured we loved what we picked, giving us time to make decisions without us feeling rushed, while also making sure we were getting him the information he needed when he needed it. He always gave his advice but let us have the final say. Dennis went above and beyond the responsibilities of a DJ and dived in to help make our wedding special. When my husband wanted to have me walk down the aisle to a recording of him singing and playing the guitar, Dennis offered his own studio to him to record. My husband was not able to take him up on the offer since we live out of state, but when he sent Dennis a phone recording, without asking, Dennis took it upon himself to do a bit of editing to make the song even more beautiful. When my husband told Dennis he wanted to play the guitar and sing live at the reception, Dennis brought his own music stand and set up everything. He made a fun mashup of songs I requested for my father daughter dance. Instead of table numbers, we named out tables different Moroccan city names. Dennis looked up fun facts about each city that he announced as guests went to the buffet to get their food. Dennis puts his heart and soul into each wedding and it truly shows. Dennis – we truly can’t thank you enough for giving us and our guests such an amazing and fun night. From us to my grandparents to my college friends to my husband’s Moroccan family members who came from Morocco to attend, you gave everyone a night they will never forget!”

He provided a shared document months ahead of time so that we could share music and scheduling info, and on the night of the event it was so evident that he had paid attention to every single detail ever mentioned in the document, over Zoom, or on our site visit. Every single must-play song came on at the perfect time, he managed to source very specific remixes that I had mentioned, and he kept the night running on schedule with such a chill, stress-free, and adaptable vibe. Kevin even introduced us to his colleague Richie for dance lights when we were debating our lighting options, which also ended up being absolutely perfect! I cannot stress enough how collaborative and understanding Kevin is, how smooth the process was, and most importantly - what a KILLER DJ he is. He truly wants to deliver the night of your dreams. My heart felt like it was going to explode in the best way multiple times that night, because of all the incredible, better-than-you-could-ever-have-imagined dancefloor moments. “The Music Boutique was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, Scott was extremely helpful and responsive, and always providing us with great ideas, suggestions, and guidance to make our day special. We had a duo playing for our ceremony and during the cocktail hour and then we had a small 3 person band playing for our reception. And it was the perfect amount of people. We had spoken to some other bands and they all kept saying we need some big band for the reception, but since we were having less than 100 people at the wedding, we didn’t think it made sense to have like a 10 person band, it just seemed like it would overwhelm the whole wedding. And we knew we wanted a band component since my father plays guitar and I had a feeling would want to play a song at some point. Then we spoke with Scott, he seemed to understand our vision of having a small band. He loved the idea of my father playing a song, and made suggestions on when was the perfect time for him to play, and even laughed along with our idea of playing “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire, over and over again, since we were getting married on “the 21st night of September” (we did not do this)! The day of the band was amazing! They even took the time to learn our first dance song, which was a fairly unknown track, and played it beautifully, and surprised us with playing it. Since we thought it was just going to be a recorded version of the song. That was very special to us! And they were more than happy to let my dad play his song to us. Overall, the band's performance was lively and engaging, and they kept our guests dancing all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better band to help make our wedding celebration so memorable, and couldn’t have done it with Scott!”

“In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. He even helped us surprise our guests with a singing introduction of the bride and groom. He took time to get to know us and was always happy to answer any questions we had. This was not a cookie cutter wedding band performance. This is a group of truly talented professional musicians putting on a real show. Our guests and even our vendors are still telling us today, months later, that this was the best wedding band that they’ve ever seen.
