Brian is the absolute best DJ!
We hired Brian to DJ our wedding in April 2022. He was so good, my sister and her husband hired him for their wedding the next year, and my brother and his wife hired him AGAIN the next year! He's now done every wedding in our family and we all believe hiring Brian was one of the best decisions we made in the whole wedding planning process. The dance party was a very important aspect of the wedding for all of us and all three of our weddings had epic dance parties thanks to Brian's work. He was really thoughtful in preparing for our wedding, doing multiple calls with us to get a sense of our music style. He was also extremely receptive to getting a very detailed request (and "no play") list from us and wasn't at all put off by lots and lots of specific requests. He played every song for the perfect amount of time (I hate when DJs cut too soon or linger too long!) and was amazing at reading the room and keeping people on the dance floor all night. He's also just a great guy and so fun to have around, and does an awesome job MCing in addition to playing the music. I really cannot recommend him highly enough. If you care at all about the music at your event, hire Brian!
Unforgettable Beats: DJ Brings Party to Chicago
Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.

When I received the email if I would be down to make the trek from Massachusetts to ChiTown, there wasn’t a second of hesitation. Trusting my expertise and dedication to assuring the day was a success, especially with the reception playlist. Knowing this is not once, not twice, but a third run at creating a blend that didn’t duplicate both Darcy & Katie’s weddings, we definitely still slammed it out the ballpark! So much love and respect for the D’s and their extended families! Mr D is definitely one of my top 3 fathers I’ve met in my 17+ years of working in this industry! Brian with Larger Than Life Entertainment was one of the greatest investments of our wedding. Not only was he a fantastic DJ, but also an invaluable support throughout each step of the planning process up to the big day. His attention to detail set us up for success and his flexibility/creativity made any unexpected challenges insignificant. In addition to his thoughtful and professional nature, Brian was also a blast! He played requested songs and based on the pulse of the floor, selected others that had everyone dancing! Brian was excellent — setting the perfect mood, getting multi-generations dancing and enjoying themselves. He also was so helpful consulting with us ahead of time with suggestions but letting us design the day. We wouldn’t have wanted anyone else for our wedding!
