Covergirl plays the hits you love in an unforgettable style! While specializing in Funk/Dance/R&B, Covergirl also covers Classic Rock, Alternative, Rock, and Motown. We love to put unique spins on classic and modern hits, with songs from the 60’s through today. With lights, sound system and engineer, we promise to keep the dance floor moving all night! Based out of the CT shoreline area, Covergirl has a collective 50+ years of performance experience. Most of our members are involved in the vibrant New Haven music scene in original bands, and a few members are passing on our passion for music along to shoreline kids through music education!

With 100+ songs in steady rotation on our repertoire, Covergirl's sets are personally tailored for your special day. We offer to learn requests for live first/parent dances etc, as well as work with you to hand pick the perfect setlist for the evening. While we love to pop in some musical twists, if there is a song you really love, we are more than happy to play it as faithfully to the original as possible! We've had a blast in the past being involved in traditional and themed weddings and have even had a groom and maid of honor sit in for a song!

Description

Includes a 60 minute cocktail hour performance and a 3 hour reception performance from our 5-piece band, all through our 2500 watt sound system. Our sound engineer will ensure that your guests will have a crisp and defined audio experience, any speeches are HEARD, and will provide any incidental music during the event. Lastly, the band will learn up to 5 requests for things like first and family dances or any special moments during the cocktail hour or reception. *Travel fees not included*

Don't want the party to end? Our premium package includes an extra hour of performance time, with a 60 minute cocktail hour and a 4 hour reception performance.     We cannot say enough about how much we loved Covergirl. They took so much time to sit with us and listen to our requests before the wedding and boy did they deliver. They played everything we asked for. They dressed up for our Super Mario theme and even learned new music for it. We had guests say they were the best wedding band they’ve ever heard. Absolutely incredible.

    We have had Cover Girl band for our neighborhood event for the past 5years. We are very pleased with their performance and willingness to play our requested music. They were prompt and courteous. And willing to schedule a rain date!! Very important since we are directly on the water!! We love their music!

    This band is outstanding! Words can’t express our gratitude. Early in our planning, we checked out the band at a local bar. The enthusiasm from the mixed-age crowd solidified that we wanted to work with Covergirl. The band helped personalize a song for our first dance. We think their version is better than the original, and we wish we had recorded it. We found the band to be communicative throughout the lengthy process of planning. For example, they initiated checking in at the venue and adapted to family requests, such as a toast. They also provided a comprehensive set list to work from while proactively being open to our ideas. We found the sound technology choices to work well with the space and the stages of a reception. When the dinner took longer than expected, they added to the playlist accordingly. The volume level ended up a perfect balance for dancing and guests being able to chat. We must add that nearly every song got a different group on the dance floor each time. The band kept the dance floor active throughout the event. Our guests can’t stop mentioning the band’s excellence and kind approach; guests made it clear that they didn’t want the band to stop playing. We can’t thank Covergirl enough for this beautiful memory.
