We had an amazing wedding partly thanks to Serenity Ridge for their amazing work to make sure our catering and venue was set up perfectly. This truly is an all inclusive venue. They did our wedding cake which was delicious and our catering which everyone enjoyed so much. Everyone said the food was phenomenal which we agreed! All of our guests said they had a great time and that it was such an enjoyable wedding and beautiful view. We used the cabins, house, and yurt which were all super comfortable and clean. Also, having the fire in the pavilion to hang out with our wedding party before and after the wedding was wonderful. Beyond glad we choose Serenity Ridge! Amazing venue and people! Thank you!

Roddey Ranch went above and beyond to make our day magical; from the very beginning to the end, they were very kind and helpful. Mrs. Catrina always kept in contact with me, and she was always there in case I had any questions. When we met up a few weeks before the wedding we finally got to meet her, her husband (Minister Reese) and her wonderful staff of dedicated family members. We got to see a little sneak peek of how the decorations would look and got to try some of the delicious wedding cake. My husband and I, both were blown away by just how much love they put into everything. After that meeting, we couldn't wait for our wedding day! When that day came it felt like a dream. When we arrived at Roddey Ranch, I could already see the scene come to life. After I had gotten ready, Ms. Lekisha took me outside for some beautiful photos of me in my dress. I felt so beautiful. They all helped me back inside and it was only a little bit longer I had to wait. As my father and I made our way outside together, all I could feel was joy. The ceremony was amazing, Minister Reese guided us through the whole way. From the vows, to exchanging of the rings; everything went beautifully. Once the ceremony was done, Ms. Lekisha took photos of us and our families; no one was left out. Soon after, my husband and I had our first dance, my father and I had ours and my brothers and father made toasts. The food was amazing! From the mini sliders to the deserts, everything was made with love, and you could taste it. The tables were beautifully decorated, and everything was perfect. All in all, I recommend Roddey Ranch to anyone who asks me where we got married, and I always will. I woke up the morning of the wedding and with just some simple direction, she had all my ceremony decor setup perfectly, all of the vendors were where they needed to be, and she brought the most infectious energy the entire day! We are minutes from, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and downtown Asheville, NC.​ The Barn is a 3,200 square foot converted stable, a unique rustic barn with the elegance of 21 chandeliers, 2000 square foot Patio draped with Tuscan lights. The Barn is the perfect setting for a relaxing and comfortable celebration, whether it’s a rustic elegant wedding for 50 or 500 guest. The Lodge is a 5,000 square foot Conference Center. The Great room has 20 foot vaulted ceilings. The Boardroom will seat 14 people at a conference table. There are 2 additional dressing rooms upstairs. The largest of the dressing rooms is known as the Brides Room, providing a relaxing and calming feel, with large vaulted ceilings, and views of the mountains.

This wedding venue is gorgeous. The mountains and autumn leaves were absolutely amazing to have especially coupled with the secluded, rustic barn setting that Doug has put together. The staff was so helpful and courteous, supporting us with final decoration touches and amazing host skills. Our bartender, Don, went above-and-beyond by creating our bride-and-groom cocktails with alternative ingredients even when we ran out. They were all really great at day-of coordination. Doug makes all of the food and it turns out really delicious; we recommend the braciole and polenta! The entire day worked out great and our needs were met on the day-of to make the final day very special for us. Although, keep in mind that Doug is solely running the place, which makes it rather difficult to contact him via email or phone. When we arrived for the food tasting in June (wedding date in November), the tasting was rather disorganized and chaotic, leaving us no room to ask questions or determine much-needed details (such as alcohol, food, decorations, seating, order-of-ceremony, vendors, etc. ). Doug's mother, Frida, hosted us for the tasting and left us having more questions than answers. These details were not discussed as was originally planned, but panned over quickly without room for further discussion. Unbeknownst to us there was another wedding at the time of our tasting, which did not allow us the room or time to discuss the topics during the tasting. She was further surprised that we wanted to see the venue, asking if we could come back later, only to be disgruntled when we said we lived out-of-state, which was known to them several months before. It was a stressful 'first look'; recommend going through Doug only for all arrangements/communication. Even so, details were often forgotten--and last minute, we were notified that a special event license was needed to serve alcohol, which (living in DC) is almost impossible to get any government action in less than 4 weeks. It was down to the wire when we finally got the license. Wish we had known of the license requirement 5 months prior in June during the tasting. All being said, it is a beautiful venue and Doug is very kind to take on the venture of hosting weddings at his venue. Be an on-point, early planner and you'll succeed.

We stayed at The Westin Poinsett Greenville for my daughter's wedding weekend. Our family, the groom's family, and many extended family and friends also stayed at the hotel. In addition to being in the heart of Greenville, the hotel is well-appointed with a sense of southern charm and elegance. Every staff member was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel lobby was a great gathering space for friends and family and the hotel restaurants and bars were easily accessible from the lobby. The hotel rooms and suites were clean, quiet and the views of the city were perfect! Throughout the weekend, we had several beautiful events at The Westin Poinsett including the Bridal Brunch, Wedding Reception and Farewell Breakfast. Each of these events was unique and the food and service were outstanding. By the end of the weekend, we felt like we were friends with the staff. Words cannot express how amazing Sarah Baker and the entire hotel staff were in coordinating and executing these special events. Throughout the planning process for each one, Sarah's communication was highly professional and consistent. She is knowledgeable, accommodating, and organized. Each of our events involved coordinating with a variety of people and everyone commented on how easy she was to work with throughout the process!! Sarah is simply he best!

Separk Mansion is a wedding venue located in Gastonia, North Carolina that is just 20 minutes from Charlotte. This renovated mansion is designed with beautiful weddings in mind and will give you an elegant backdrop that will create a celebration that is full of everlasting memories. Separk Mansion is ideal for both indoor and outdoor weddings. The first floor ballroom retains old vintage hardwood floors and has a ceiling that shimmers with crystal chandeliers. At the front there is a large staircase as well as large front doors that lead to an expansive limestone veranda that can be used for a cocktail hour. This impressive estate was built in 1919 by textile mogul Joseph Separk. He lived in the mansion with his wife and son during the 1920s. In 2012 it underwent complete renovation and is currently one of the most popular locations for ceremonies and receptions. The mansion is part of the York Chester Historic District and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

I can’t say enough about my experience at Separk Mansion. We were really picky on what we wanted in a wedding venue and wanted the wedding planning process to be as simple as possible. We immediately knew after leaving our tour that there was no other place than Separk to have our wedding. When we first met Emily she was the kindest person. What I liked most about Emily is that she was not looking to make a sale. You could see that she genuinely loved the mansion and all it had to offer and wanted us to be taken care of, regardless of who we picked to host. The all-inclusive package at Separk blew away any other all-inclusive packages in the area. What I liked most about Separk Mansion was how much time they invested in ME and my wedding. I always felt like my wedding was the only wedding booked there, even though they of course had one or two weddings each week. The constant checking in and wedding meetings were super helpful. I loved being able to talk all the details with just ONE person rather than many many vendors. When it came to decorations I loved being able to drop off everything the night before and knew it would be taken care of and set up when we got back. When we arrived the morning of the wedding we had snacks and beverages waiting for us, I felt like a queen. I can’t stress enough how much Emily took care of for us, it was literally everything. I did not have one worry or concern the day of my wedding. Due to Separk Mansion’s meticulous planning NOT ONE THING WENT WRONG on my day, which is CRAZY!! Emily and the entire Separk team felt like family at the end of the night and I am really lucky they were a part of our big day. If you are looking for a wedding venue that makes sure you are taken care of from start to finish and makes you feel like the only bride in the world then Separk Mansion is the place for you! Now that our wedding is over the relationships with Emily and the team continue and I find myself wishing I could go back to the mansion everyday.

Kari and Mark made it just that! They were both so incredibly helpful and the venue was so beautiful! The food was delicious and we had the best time! All of our guests raved about it as well!

Our experience with Homesteads was absolutely top notch. My husband and I have been involved in over 200 weddings between planning, coordinating, catering, attending, being in the bridal party, and now as bride and groom--so we have truly seen the full spectrum of wedding vendors and venues. From our very first meeting to our wedding day and even beyond, the staff at Homesteads has exceeded our expectations. Venue director Hannah is professional yet relatable and gave us helpful tips and recommendations along the way, responded to all our questions in a timely manner, and overall made our entire day flow smoothly. Catering director Kim is a sweetheart and worked with us to create several versions of our menu and was patient as my (former chef) husband made tweaks over the course of several months. The day-of staff and bartenders were outstanding--serving our guests with excellence, making them feel welcome, and contributing to the overall atmosphere we had envisioned. They brought us food and drinks all night and we didn't have to think about anything except enjoying the party we had spent so many months planning! So many of our guests commented on how beautiful and unique the venue was. There are so many different event spaces at Loray Mill and we ended up hosting our rehearsal dinner / welcome party there as well--truly a full-service venue. With so much to plan for our wedding, it was a huge relief that they also provided tables & chairs, linens, catering, alcohol, bar service, security, etc. and we didn't have to "Frankenstein" all of those details. Many of our vendors were already familiar with the venue which was a huge plus as well. We love Hannah and Homesteads and would recommend this venue and this team to absolutely anyone!

My wife and I got married here in July of 2023 and we couldn't have been happier with the venue or the service we received from the 405 team. We booked on somewhat short notice because our original venue fell through. The historic Monte Vista Hotel is a key component to Black Mountain’s storied past. Originally home to the Cherokee people, this valley became an early pathway west for traders, explorers and people seeking a new life beyond the eastern mountains. The town of Black Mountain grew rapidly after the railroad was completed in the late 19th century, and this new “railroad town” needed more lodging. Lucien and Rosalie Phillips opened the Monte Vista in 1919, repurposing a former school building. In 1937, the current brick building was constructed, further cementing the Monte Vista Hotel as a central piece of Black Mountain’s civic and social life. The Annex, a separate structure located behind the original, was added in 1975. Though the hotel has since undergone complete renovations and new ownership, many of the original elements have been preserved, and the new decorative touches complement the look and feel of the original structure.

The ceremony area is nicely tucked in (on a golf course, but feels like you are away from the course a bit, no matter what time of year) and well maintained. Great spots for pictures like the stairs outside. The reception area has a beautiful stone fireplace, cozy bar area, and nice deck/patio for cocktail hour. The staff here will go out of their way to make everything just as you envision it.

The Venue at Falls Park is a gorgeous and intimate location for a wedding, and the included options made for our perfect blend of convenience and DIY personalization. Our coordinator and her team were excellent on the day of our wedding, and her flower arrangements were incredible. She communicated with our vendors and ran a smooth rehearsal - having her venue coordinator services included with the venue allowed the whole family to enjoy the day. However, the communication between us leading up to the event was frustratingly full of errors and added a lot of stress. At the end of the day, we had a beautiful wedding. The venue has a wonderful floorplan and flow, and all the amenities we could have asked for. Having the bridal suite onsite made our timeline very relaxed, and the coordinator clearly has a great working relationship with other vendors in Greenville. The location downtown was great for our guests, and we were able to take photos down by the river. We are so glad we had our wedding at The Venue at Falls Park.

We immediately began designing the space. Through our catering experience we knew the need for easy access, a good flow and having conveniently located facilities. My husband and I got married at The Cotton Loft in June 2023 and it was an absolute dream!
