River Legacy Living Science Center is both a beautiful and unique setting for a celebration, whether indoors or outdoors. With a commitment to sustainable design, River Legacy Living Science Center is a masterpiece of architecture. Our rentals are available as a full-facility package. We have a nightly rental cost of $2500 on Fridays and Saturdays and that includes the use of the Atrium, Discovery Room exhibit hall, Riparian viewing room, and Outside Terrace. That package includes access between 5 pm and 12 am (midnight). Event set up and break down must be included within the 5pm-12am window. Ask about Sunday economy rentals.

Spring Lake is a picturesque site situated at the headwaters of the San Marcos River, and there are several options for your special day. We have spaces available at the Headwaters Green, the Meadow, or on our Rooftop overlooking Spring Lake's crystal waters. As a special treat to your guests, you can even reserve our historic Glass Bottom Boats! Spring Lake is an OUTDOOR venue with no cover. Clients are welcome to rent tents to accommodate their guests. There is one small conference room available, but seating and availability is very limited. Please keep this in mind when planning your date and time. Spring Lake can be the perfect site for weddings, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, bridal showers, photo shoots, and more. Multiple outdoor areas to choose from for your Ceremony site along with a selection of Altar ideas. Couples will have an on-site, day of, wedding Coordinator to orchestrate the many activities so they may relax and enjoy their special day with family and friends. Wedding Parties have two special Wedding Suites to prepare for the day, with an additional area just for hair and make-up. There is a prep kitchen to manage any catered food. As well as Wifi for guests as they wander around the grounds enjoying the various yard games and visiting in a peaceful outdoor setting while enjoying your Celebration.
