When we first reached out to Poplar Springs Manor, their team was incredibly responsive, friendly, and accommodating. The moment we saw the venue, we knew this was the place for our big day. The stunning tree line, the historic manor house, two bridal suites, and a beautiful ballroom - this place has it ALL. The venue is stunning, with a charming and intimate feel that made our special day feel warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make our experience special, allowing us into the bridal suite early since we had rented out the inn the night before the wedding. We loved the bar area for cocktail hour and some fun post-party photo opps. The food was also absolutely delicious - our guests raved about it. We could not have asked for a more perfect venue to celebrate our marriage, and we are so grateful to the Poplar Springs Manor team for making our wedding day truly unforgettable.

The venue was excellent! It was so nice to work with FSK events. Before the dance, I was able to email with questions and ask for suggestions on how I could set things up for the band. They were very helpful and polite. It’s a beautiful space,- very convenient inside the Francis Scott Key Mall, and it was set up just as I’d ordered it. I will definitely use this venue, again.

If you are looking for a relaxed, charming and absolutely beautiful venue than this is the place! The house was built in the late 1700s and is chock full of beautiful antiques (and a super fun secret staircase!). There are multiple areas on the farm that can be used for a ceremony spot, photo ops and/or lovely hang spots! There are also chickens and goats roaming freely. Additionally Liz and her family were incredibly helpful. Liz went out of her way to help me fix some issues that were beyond my control and on the day of the wedding was at the ready to help with whatever we found we needed. Being able to have the farm the whole weekend was also a major plus. Ballenger Farm will forever have a special place in my heart, it was truly the best place to have such a memorable event and I look forward to going back one day.

Winding Creek Farm was the most perfect setting we could have ever imagined for our September wedding! Rustic, charming and quaint, it was gorgeous and everything we could have ever wanted. The owners, Kim and Craig, were helpful every step of the way and Melissa, our Day of Coordinator, kept every second of the day running smoothly so we didn't have to worry about anything. This venue will forever hold some of our most treasured memories and we highly recommend it to anyone else interested in having the perfect barn wedding!

We booked our wedding at the TWI just about 4 months before our date. Melanie, Sarah, and Brandi made the process so easy. Leading up to the date, they were easy-going and accommodating answering questions and recommending vendors. They were so easy to work with. The day/weekend of, they are true pros and took care of all sorts of little things without skipping a beat. Not to mention the food was incredible! and you can't beat the classic aesthetic of the venue.

I was so overwhelmed by all of the " what ifs" that come along with wedding planning. Terri and Jeff run a well oiled machine at Sylvanside and have thought about pretty much every contingency plan possible making it easy for me to just relax and be present. Not to mention, the farm! I couldn't believe how magical of a space it is. There are old willowing trees, beautiful flowers and an energy to the place that is so serene. I can't believe this place exists in NOVA. It feels like you're stepping into the European countryside!

The staff is amazing and gives recommendations for vendors that frequent there and their coordinator we had, Maddie, was a god send for an unfortunate event with our original photographer and was in constant communication with us prior to the wedding. Amazing views as well as a great area to get ready in for both guys and girls.

When we started planning we wanted our day to be as stress-free as possible and fun so Attaboy was an easy choice. There was so much I loved about the venue, but here are some top considerations: Location/logistics- It was so easy to get everything and everyone to the venue and our guests loved how easy walking or parking was. Other vendors also expressed appreciation that they were able to get in earlier in the day and that it was easy to get to. Since it is off the creek, the outside area felt more intimate. There are also lots of cute areas to take pictures in the venue and just steps away. Aesthetics- the venue was beautiful! The simplicity of the set up really made our florals pop. They provided tables and seating which were perfect with our design. The whole space lends itself to so many different design possibilities. Also, since it is very cute/clean as it, we didn't need to go overboard with decor. Service- Anna was a huge help throughout the entire process. She made me feel confident that everything would run smoothly. She was also quick to address questions/needs. The day of the event all of the staff were wonderful. They were so friendly and fun!

We were introduced to Union Mills during the Frederick Wedding Expo, and we loved the look of the place. The look of the venue speaks for itself, the exposed brick and the killer chandeliers really encapsulated the vibe we wanted. Our vendors also appreciated the more practical set-up of the space for ease of use (lighting, access to power, entrances, etc.), showing the expertise with which the venue was designed. The space is also totally handicap accessible, from parking to ramps within the venue itself, which was necessary for some of our guests. We were planning the wedding on a short time frame, and Niko and Mary were incredibly flexible with our needs. Their background in hospitality showed, we always felt that our big day was just as important to them. They had connections to vendors in the area and helped us narrow down who would be best for our needs. We were worried about the menu and bar package given our group had some pretty varied dietary restrictions, but their options were totally customizable all in-house, our guests had plenty of great choices. All of the staff were friendly and professional, the day ran smoothly from setting up the ceremony, serving drinks, flipping the room for the reception, and serving dinner. We highly recommend Union Mills as an event space and are appreciative to Niko and Mary for helping us!

We have used Tenth Ward multiple times for our team meetings and holiday parties, and I have attended many more events and meetings at their beautiful space. The historic wedding venue is woman-owned and features wall-to-wall exposed brick, large industrial windows, and beautiful original hardwood floors. It is on the second floor and requires stairs to access but it is worth the short climb. The staff is very responsive and easy to work with. In addition to business meetings I know they host weddings. I am sure it would be a wonderful venue for this as well!

If you want a unique venue and an event that will stand out in your memories, look no further than Citizens Ballroom. Our wedding here was so much fun and unique, which was the perfect fit for my husband and I. While there are so specific rules of the venue that are in place because of the uniqueness of the venue that can make it a little tough to work around, the team with Fetewell was so easy to communicate with in order to iron out those details and come up with solutions. 10/10!

The venues themselves were beautiful, affordable, and accommodating, with a timeless aesthetic that made for the perfect backdrop to our special day. Our wedding was at the Woolen Mill and I cannot recommend the venue or the staff enough! All of the staff were friendly and responsive, both over email and in person. My husband and I were married at the Farm in May 2019 and used all parts of the venue for our wedding day. My bridesmaids and I got ready at the farmhouse, pictures were taken around the property, we were married in one of the fields and had the reception in the barn. We loved the venue and so did all of our guests. East Lynn Farm is perfect venue to make your big day special!

Hosting our wedding here was a delight! The venue, food, and organization/suggestions of Amy Rapaport-Carper made our event spectacular. I highly recommend this venue for your next event! Our guests were greeted by a well organized staff who provided food and drink in classy parlors decorated with fireplaces and wood furniture. Meanwhile my new husband and I took photos on the grounds and were hand delivered Whiskey down by the river! Once we entered the building a receiving line (as suggested) allowed us to greet each of our guests and usher them into the ballroom. The tables were set beautifully and our guest enjoyed salad/bread while they waited for the buffet to begin, which was delicious! The venue allowed our music/dancing to be managed by aux plug and a wireless microphone. Throughout eating/drinking/dancing the staff managed plates well, served generously and overall the service was excellent. Our grand sparkler exit was suggested/managed by Amy's team spectacularly. We were glad to work with Amy and her team was fantastic. We recommend this for your wedding or event!

The Manor At Airmont was best decision and perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first met Natallia and Anthony, we felt at ease with their warm and detail-oriented communication style, it felt like we'd known them forever. They truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The Manor is a gorgeous venue alone and then the addition of high-end design/flowers, it was above and beyond. The entire team at the manor was wonderful to work with & our guests haven't stopped raving about the food, Tasty Gourmet was delicious!! Natallia added special touches throughout that made our day feel truly unique and memorable. The Anchorage was amazing! My wife and I got married here last June, and to say everything was perfect would be an understatement. It's hard to put into words explaining how great Woody and Michelle were helping us make our special day go exactly as planned. The property is beautiful, spacious, and well kept. The waterfront view was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony (Woody even went out of his way to make an aisle of sand for us to walk down). The cigar shack was awesome and the barn was also set up for me and my groomsmen to get ready and hang out until the big moment (they especially enjoyed the darts, ring and hook, and bar with a kegerator). My family and I were very happy with the rooms which were spotless, comfortable, and included refrigerators/kitchenettes. My wife was very happy with her space to get ready, especially with Michelle doing everything she could ensuring the girls had what they needed and making sure everyone was stress free! Woody and Michelle were more than accommodating. Breakfast was always delicious (the smoothies and Woodys Waffles were my favorites). They were also life savers dealing with our vendors dropping stuff off (at times earlier than expected), even using their golf cart to help move stuff down to the beach to help set up. The golf cart also came in handy taxing people up and down the hill when needed! I HIGHLY recommend this venue! Woody and Michelle are two of the most kind, accommodating (and hilarious) people I've ever met, and I can't begin to thank them enough for everything they did to make sure our special day went off without a hitch. We fully intend on coming back to enjoy their beautiful BnB again!
