“We are so glad we chose Maurice (The Covenant Child DJ) for our wedding. Maurice responded very quickly to our initial inquiry on wedding wire and after our first call we knew it was a good fit. Maurice was very helpful in planning our music and the timing for our wedding. He sent us a link to an application that he uses (called Vibo) that allowed us to input our song choices for different parts of the wedding (processional, recessional, cocktail hour, first dance, dinner music, dance music, etc.). This was incredibly helpful because the app lets you search songs from Youtube, Spotify, and Apple Music and upload it there. We are a couple from mixed backgrounds so having this was super helpful to include music that both of our families could enjoy and have a solid set of songs. We chose about 30 songs and let Maurice fill in the rest, and he did an absolutely amazing job filling out the playlist and choosing songs that got the guests dancing. He even did some research on Malagasy songs and included them at different parts of the wedding. He even did a custom mix for us for our first dance! Maurice also helped out by suggesting timing for the different elements of the ceremony and reception. Maurice was very generous with his time during planning and really went above and beyond to help us plan the day. On wedding day, Maurice was great. He was an active, lively DJ and was very helpful with announcements, keeping us on schedule, and getting the guests involved in the wedding. He led us through some different games, and played a perfect set of music. Maurice did a great job reading the crowd and playing the hits that got different groups dancing. Toward the end of the night he played hit after hit and had us and our friends dancing... we didn't want to leave the dance floor!! Thank you so much Maurice for everything, you were a huge part of making our wedding special and we will forever appreciate it!”
