“My husband and I had one non-negotiable for our wedding - to have a live band. We went to the BVT showcase and immediately fell in love with Experience. They were a little bit out of our budget, but we decided to book them anyways and cut back on other things and let me tell you ...they were worth every single penny!!! “DJ D-Mac was one of the first "wedding day details" we locked in. After my wife and I got engaged, we pretty much immediately dove headfirst into wedding planning. One of the first things we knew is that we wanted to work with a DJ rather than a band. And I knew I wanted to work with DJ D-Mac. The first time I saw D-Mac spin a set was at a friend's wedding in 2014, and I was blown away. At every wedding since then, I've measured other DJs' performances against what I saw (and couldn't stop dancing to) that day. His ability to blend songs, flowing from one crowd pleaser to the next while pairing them in unexpected and delightful ways kept the dancefloor packed and moving all night. Once we'd finished the official wedding business of speeches, toasts, and cake cutting, I ducked my head over to the DJ booth and said, "I don't wanna leave the dancefloor for the next three hours." Unsurprisingly, he delivered exactly what my wife and I -- and all of our guests -- were looking for. Since our wedding in September, the most consistent feedback we've received from wedding guests is how incredible our DJ was and how much fun they had at our reception. Seriously, I wish I'd kept a log of the number of times "y'all's DJ was amazing" or something similar has been said or texted to me. We're already looking for an excuse to throw another party so we have a reason to work with D-Mac again. “Kelton from Marquee Artists is awesome - he killed it dj-ing for the clients, the dance floor was non-stop going nuts the whole time! His demeanor is super low-key and easy going, and he was very easy to work with, which means a lot in this field. Weddings have lots of moving parts and can be chaotic, but having vendors that are kind and willing to work as a team makes the day go a whole lot smoother. The couple had lots of requests for songs in completely different genres, but he managed to keep the party going with no awkward pauses and seamless transitions.
