I am Andy Yorke aka DJ Hpnotiq, President of Imani Entertainment DJ, Karaoke, and Photobooth Service and I would love to provide DJ entertainment for your wedding or event. I have had a twenty-one year professional career in radio, sixteen of which as an on air personality with WHUR, WOL, WJZE, WGAY, WKYS. As a club/mobile DJ, I have provided DJ entertainment for numerous Weddings, Corporate Events, School Events, Sweet Sixteens, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Quinceaneras, Showers (Baby and Bridal), Fashion Shows, Store Openings, and Private Parties. I have performed at several clubs. bars, and event venues in DC, MD, VA, DE, and PA.

We specialize in, Top 40, Hip Hop, House, R & B, Reggae, Soca, Afrobeat, Old School, Go Go, 80’s, 90's, Line Dance, Country, Classic Rock, Modern Rock, Trance, Techno, Motown, Smooth Jazz, Neo Soul, Hand Dance, Soca, Latin, and we also provide Karaoke with over 45,000 song titles. We provide DJ Services, Karaoke Services, Photobooth Services, Lighting, Virtual Events, Voiceover, and Sound Services. We have state of the art equipment, and our DJ’s can custom tailor music selections for any event or venue.

    From the moment Imani Entertainment arrived, they were professional, punctual, and ready to make our wedding reception a night to remember. They kept the dance floor packed all evening with a great mix of classic and contemporary hits that had all our guests singing and dancing. When we needed the microphones for toasts, they were there instantly to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their photobooth was also a huge hit, providing endless entertainment and hilarious photos for our guests to take home as keepsakes. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ service to complete our special day.

    Imani Entertainment was great to work with! DJ Andy was responsive and quick to answer any questions we had before and after booking. He gave us the opportunity to personalize as much of the music as we wanted to. On the day of our wedding, he and the photobooth attendant showed up with plenty of time to set everything up and provided a memorable, amazing day!

    Andy is a professional through and through. His knowledge of music is impressive and what he doesn't have on file, he finds and puts it on file for you. He not only listens to the needs for your party, but makes appropriate suggestions that can only come from someone who has depth of experience. He goes out of his way to make your event a success and is one of the most fair and honest dj's I've ever worked with. I have recommended him before and gladly use his services again and again.
