We loved that Sadie Lake had such a large inventory of decor - we saved hundreds here! The bridal suite with beautiful natural light, large and accommodating groom’s suite, and the prep kitchen was a huge bonus. Now let’s talk about the grounds - DeeDee has created a beautiful venue. When we showed up for our tour, she was in gardening gloves and boots - we knew that she kept this place immaculate! Everything on the 18 acres is absolutely gorgeous, perfect for wedding photos! The barn is a beautiful backdrop, the lake is adorable, and the lush green grounds are to die for. The tent and barn provide great alternates for poor weather as well (we didn’t need it, but we were glad to have a backup, knowing Washington). Our guests absolutely loved partying it up at Sadie Lake! Deedee is the kindest vendor, and truly cares for you as a couple and the important part of your wedding day; that you love each other and are getting married!! We highly recommend Sadie Lake! We LOVED our wedding at IslandWood! I worked on the events team at IslandWood from 2019-2021, before shifting careers completely. I always loved to work the weddings, and imagined that my dream wedding would be there one day. I am so so happy that I was able to make that dream come true!! IslandWood goes above and beyond to make the guests' and bride & groom's experiences absolutely perfect! I personally already knew the food would taste amazing, as I used to always eat the leftovers when I worked there. But eating food from a menu that my husband and I got to custom design with Jim was truly an unforgettable experience. All of the guests loved the food, and Jim and his team tackle every request that you throw their way! My husband is Dominican, and Jim made sure that the Dominican food he made was authentic and delicious. At one point, my husband's aunts asked whether a Dominican was working in the kitchen! Moreover, Erica, our event planner, went above and beyond to ensure that we had a perfect weekend! IslandWood is a magical place, and your wedding will be magical if you choose to have it there. Yes, it is pricey, but the experiences that you, your family, and your friends will leave with are truly invaluable!

Gleneagle Golf Course was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was very responsive, which helped make the planning process a breeze. The venue itself is in a beautiful area that provided a stunning backdrop for our special day. They made the day easier and a lot less stressful - the in-house catering with an amazing taco bar was a huge hit with our guests, the bartender was fantastic, and the owner's son who DJed did an incredible job. We also loved having the outdoor space that let the kids run off their energy. Overall, the Gleneagle team were wonderful people to work with, and the value was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue.

By holding our October 2024 wedding at Marionfield, we not only had a gorgeous venue; we also had guidance, support, and tips every step of the way from John, Marionfield's wonderful owner. From our first visit, we could tell that John was invested in our wedding succeeding. He gave honest, thoughtful answers to our initial questions. Once we selected Marionfield, John gave helpful advice about layouts, useful pointers about timelines, stellar recommendations for other vendors, and transparent information about the venue and what does and doesn't work well there. John always responded quickly and thoroughly to emails. He was generous with his time, letting me visit once six months before the wedding and again three months beforehand for a walk through with my coordinator. John is warm, caring, and honest. When you book your wedding at Marionfield, you are also securing a dedicated teammate in your wedding planning journey. About the venue itself: Marionfield is gorgeous. The buildings, landscaping, walkways, and furnishings are all in tip-top condition. Marionfield gets the details right -- dimmable lights in the barn, ADA accessibility, comfortable chairs, the spacious bridal suite with a full kitchen. The location is private, secluded, and quiet. The historic barn offers a charming, romantic backdrop. You also get a team of helpful people on your wedding day who make flips of the space happen, see that the water stays full, and that your other vendors are where they need to be. The team worked seamlessly to make our wedding go off without a hitch. The high level of included services (staff who handle chair and table set-up, venue flips, most clean-up) and add-ons available for very reasonable fees (hot cider bar, flatware, plates, glass water goblets) at Marionfield means fewer moving parts and details to keep track of. I could go on and on with positive things about John Olson and Marionfield. My husband and I highly recommend selecting Marionfield for your wedding venue.

We had our dream wedding at Briarwood and it was the best decision that we could have made! Jessica was a great communicator and put us at ease as we were a bit nervous planning our wedding. The venue itself is SOOO BEAUTIFUL and has so many areas to play around with. It was difficult to pick only 1 space so we did each part of the wedding in different areas. The large open lawn space was perfect for our ceremony, we had our cocktail hour in the white blossom garden and then our reception in the Wisteria Den. It was all so magical and our guests were so excited about what was coming next. We haven't seen our professional photos yet, but I saw some sneak peeks and the venue is stunning for photos! Our favorite part overall was being able to stay at the cottages from Thursday to Sunday. We were able to load in our decor Thursday which made it so easy and gave us peace of mind that everything was in one location. Waking up on Friday morning and being able to walk around the venue a day before getting married was on of the highlights of the whole weekend. Being able to walk to our cottage at the end of the night after our reception was amazing. We spent the night of our wedding around the fire pit with our closest friends. We had the magical garden wedding of our dreams and I would suggest this venue to anyone and everyone if they are looking for an outdoor venue!

Fireseed is such a beautiful location and the staff and owners put their all into ensuring you have the smoothest ride, planning and the day of. Everyone kept asking us if wedding planning was stressing us out, I can honestly say Fireseed made it so easy. We only had to book our music, flowers, alcohol, and a couple permits. The rest was all taken care of by Fireseed and their team. I can not recommend it more and knew as soon as I saw the location if I had ties to Whidbey Island I would be getting married there. Their warmth, friendliness, and clear love for their venue made booking an easy decision. Plus, the convenience of hosting all our events and guests in one location made our day so much smoother. We were also thrilled that they provided MC equipment, a refrigerator/freezer, and all the tables and chairs, saving us the hassle of renting. They even offer a helpful website to connect with vendors, which we used for several wedding services. Jamie and James went above and beyond for us. James graciously let us use his newly crafted tables, which added a special touch to our welcome table, sweetheart table, and dessert station. Had the most beautiful wedding at Wisteria Gardens. As we planned a wedding from 9 hours away Heather made everything so easy. Whether that be doing a walk through with relatives local to the area, text messages and phone calls to answer questions, or sending pictures of decorations they had onsite, she was on it. She always made sure she had our best interest in mind, even on the day of she helped with all the set up and things behind the scenes. Couldn’t have asked for a better host. On top of having a great host, the venue was amazing. We had numerous compliments on how beautiful the event space was. Would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an extremely helpful host to take some of the stress off of you and the most beautiful venue in the Skagit valley.

We had a 35 person wedding at Dunn Gardens in July 2024. It was absolutely amazing. Choosing the gardens was hands-down the best decision of our wedding and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. My husband and I searched all over WA and the Bay Area for wedding venues. We were looking for: - an outdoor wedding in the woods - a space appropriate for 40 guests - the ability to host a medium fancy, catered event- like an elevated backyard wedding We chanced upon Dunn Gardens on a botanical garden website. The moment we visited, we knew it was the perfect spot for us. The space alone may be the most gorgeous, well hidden little pocket of Seattle out there. Even folks not looking to get married should check the gardens out- we visited many times in the year leading up to our wedding, and in every season, the garden is a stunning, PNW dream. This is just what we wanted: a place where we could be at peace in the trees with our guests. It was so magical day-of, and all our guests commented on how special and beautiful the venue was. Though the scenery alone is enough to set this venue apart, the rest of our experience here was also incredible. The professionalism and assistance we received from our venue coordinator, Sara, was wonderful. She helped us every step of the way (for a year!) coordinating with our outside vendors, helping us make key decisions, and solving problems for us that arose day-of with our caterers. Working with Sara was one of the best parts of our wedding process. We also loved the flexibility and access the venue provided. In addition to our Saturday wedding, we hosted a casual rehearsal dinner and nature walk at the gardens Friday night, plus a floral prep party in the garden cottage Friday afternoon. Then, after the wedding, we had Sunday and Monday to clean up. The ongoing access to the gardens all weekend was so helpful logistically and gave us more time to enjoy the space with our families. Most of our wedding took place on lawns outside (there are many little areas to set things up- we had our rehearsal dinner on the cottage lawn, ceremony on the tennis lawn, and reception on the great lawn). For our floral prep, rehearsal dinner food area, and getting ready areas, we used the cottage. We did not rent a tent since it was July (a tent would be a good idea most other months). The venue was very flexible with our choice of vendors and our timeline and vision for the event. A few restrictions that worked fine for us were the limit on the headcount (40 at the time we had our wedding), time cutoff (guests out by 9pm- this was perfect, we bar hopped in Fremont with our friends afterwards), and no microphones, speakers, or DJs (we had a keyboardist, which was great. No mics for the ceremony and toasts, which was not a problem at all). A few more helpful things the venue provided were plastic banquet tables, folding chairs, use of furniture for things like outdoor lounging and gift tables, tablecloths (casual style, perfect for the rehearsal pizza dinner), vases (used for floral prep), and chalkboard signs. We loved our wedding and we are so grateful to have had it at Dunn Gardens. I can’t imagine a more perfect place to get married. I recommend this venue wholeheartedly, and encourage any couple thinking about it to stop in for a visit. You will fall in love with this garden- we certainly did and will be back for years to come.

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at Woodinville Lavender in early September 2021. We are absolutely thrilled with everything about the venue and working with Tom. A couple of highlights that I will make: 1) the grounds are absolutely immaculate. Our date was past peak lavender bloom but the whole venue was still stunning. I was very excited that there were some bushes left long (i.e not trimmed after bloom) and a whole field of late bloom, so we were still able to have some lavender in our photos. 2) Working with Tom was easy and enjoyable. He is extremely organized and makes thoughtful suggestions based on his experiences doing so many events. Tom actually saved us money by reviewing our catering contract and communicating with our caterer to reduce unnecessary equipment rental fees. This saved us over $1,500, and we likely would not have caught this without Tom's help. 3) Woodinville Lavender's equipment that came with the venue rental is beautiful. It was much easier to execute the day because everything the venue provided (benches, tables, chairs, dance floor, lighting, arbor, the bridal cottage) were already pretty and only needed minimal decoration. My husband, myself, our families, and our guests all thought the venue and amenities were wonderful. We are so happy that we found Woodinville Lavender and feel lucky that we did.

Ray's was recommended by a friend of a friend and are so pleased with how everything turned out! As a catering company it is refreshing that the UWBG is run by gracious people that have been well trained enough to understand their clients needs as well as what it takes to run an amazing event balancing everything from client & vendor needs, flow of an event, layout... they just get it! They make things easier for everyone, and both corporate and social clients should be very grateful that this centrally located space is available.
